#dawn of the clans goes hard#rereading dawn of the clans and the maturity of the themes actually surprised me#like. there’s themes of war and the consequences of war and sibling relationships and abusive fathers and abusive relationships#and don’t forget the siblings on opposite sides of a war trope!!!!#the scene where falling feather and jackdaws cry kill each other#thunders horror being like ‘they’ve killed each other!’ while jackdaws cry and falling feather are laying dead on top of each other#the siblings KILLED EACH OTHER. AND APOLOGIZED TO EACH OTHER AS THEY DIED#and then with grey wing and clear sky-#and the way the cats starved to death in the mountains????#it’s DARK#i actually love it unironically#warrior cats#dawn of the clans
