Making my book-obsessive-buying list for the holidays, I had just ordered Anthony Trollope's "Barchester Towers", having read the Warden a few years ago and finding it a really interesting read.
Out of curiosity, I searched in order to find whether the book (or any of the six-book series of Trollope) has been dramatized in movies or television. It actually has been dramatized in 1982,broadcasted on BBC.
And then---
WHO WAS GOING TO TELL ME ALAN RICKMAN PULLED ✨THIS ROLE✨ IN HIS YOUTH?
For the story, Obadiah Slope seems to be a master of manipulation, from what I gather.
