relationship are complicated and should be based on the individuals you share that relationship with. sometimes the terms are just simply friends. sometimes those friends are called family and the word is meant truely as family. sometimes lovers are just that, lovers with no romantic feelings. sometimes you can love a friend deeply enough to kiss or share a life with but it doesn’t feel romantic or the word romance just doesnt sit right with you and yet you still want to spend your life with them. its all very very weird and complicated and all you really need to ask yourself with every relationship is just

what do you want to make from it

as you build a disaster together with another sometimes the mess is heartbreaking cause neither of you were using the same blue prints and sometimes you both knew exactly what mess you were making but it wasnt gonna work with the other and sometimes its a group effort with more then two people and its a beautiful mess and weather this project ends or continues is a choice and sometimes wants change and thats fine

idk where im going with this pft. romance just isnt the end all be all in life and romance isnt a check list of sex together, living together, having kids together, oh and only two people involved. just romance doesnt fufill all the needs humans have and the fact the world is built on

find a partner, marry, have kids, happy???

is broken.. cause so many people do one or two or all the steps and end up so broken cause they realize late in the game they were reading a manual that wasnt made for them. 

that doesnt mean they cant start over though. or just continue on this path and make their own rules that work with them. theres no age limit or time limit to ‘get things done’ to make some perfect life. unfortantly the world is built around the monogamous idea of a husband and wife to the point that no one can live on their own financially anymore. thats not a failure on you thats a failure on the world.
