im saying i choose to not give my time searching for bad people hiding behind mundane and innocent posts. i dont care if the random post i reblogged was originally posted by a bad person because that means id have to spend more of my time making sure each person that is even remotely related to my meaningless blog is also a person w good intentions like me. it sounds tedious and pointless. ur not a bad person by association by reblogging a photo of the ocean taken from google posted by a random terf. doesnt mean that photo is tainted now. its better to ignore it (and not even "ignoring" but choosing not to engage) rather than to actively search for the bad people, spending time searching for negativity that u dont need and isnt even directly attacking you. i deff understand the intent. i dont have the luxury to ignore it. ppl like us who deal with that in our daily lives shouldn't want/have to search for the bad where it isnt even directly aimed at us. its just not in anyones best interest and personal time to willfully hunt for bad people. just be glad you're not like them, u have good values and move on. its kind of like buying something at a gas station without any issue then wanting to google the cashier's twitter and finding out they're a racist. does that mean im gonna go back and return the candy i bought.. that the cashier didn't even make.. no.. its just not that deep. id have to spend my whole life making sure not to interact in any type of way with these people rather than just live my life around positivity. yes it is important to stand for ourselves and what we believe in, just not thru something as pointless and lighthearted as a cat post, silly meme, etc. it is different when negativity comes to you directly without any invitation.

nonetheless ppl can do whatever they want on their blogs, this is just my opinion and were all just people on a random website
