israelis get more upset over people pointing out that being a non-Palestinian citizen of israel means being a settler and often an active participant in apartheid, than they do over the fact that there’s an apartheid and genocide happening.

like sorry not sorry, but whenever I see an Israeli whining about how “we’re not our government” or “Israelis are ppl too” it’s like cool. so anyways they discovered another mass grave of Palestinians today.

#🌌when the stars align ; reigns rambles🌌#if ur an israeli over the age of 18 and you’re not orthodox or an abstentor then you’ve served in the IOF #and claiming active pride in an identity entirely constructed around apartheid does not exactly inspire trust #like im not talking about simply being born there. but when you grow up in an active apartheid state #as part of the group favored by said apartheid #and you don’t actively fight against it and reject it materially #then sorry not sorry people have a right to be angry with you #like do you not understand that in every ‘israeli’ university there is active apartheid being carried out #and that you taking advantage of that apartheid whil not standing with Palestinians at the same university #then you are part of the problem #if there was brutal occupation and constant murder happening 20 miles away from me I would do something about it #but instead you’re complaining about being disliked on the internet and think that’s peak oppression???
