honestly i think the only reason i don't seek out content about Izzy Hands and Calico Jack as a ship is because if i get invested in yet another ship with two characters that never interact onscreen my brain will actually break.
#sorry this is going into the izzy hands tag solely for my own filing purposes not bc i need izzy hands fans to see this post#i cannot let myself think too hard about them because i will actually break my own damn heart over lack of canon content of them interactin#I CAN'T DO IT AGAIN I'M NOT STRONG ENOUGH#it's just that two of my otps are characters that haven't interacted. and let me tell you that is HARD.#i'm not signing up for this ship i WON'T you cAN'T MAKE ME!!!!!#*calls them 'sentimental bastards' anyways...*#but yeah currently my number 1 OTP is two characters that have never met in the 60 years they've both existed in the same canon#and the OTP i've been devoted to the longest is two characters who never interacted but DID stand next to each other for a brief moment#and cjizzy is technically leagues ahead of those because ofmd canon says they have interacted#but we the audience didn't get to see that so it's :(((((#santagno#izzy hands
