god i love fandoms and especially here on tumblr

how we wait and suffer through anticipation together, every update you watch it and then rush here to post, like and reblog and scream in tags all together and feel the love and shared obsession in a dash full of the same picture/video/gif , counting down the time together, sharing theories and thoughts , figuring out the time and feeling the unity through the comments in tags about time and understanding that all over the world in different countries and time zones we all are united in this love, and then the time comes the content drops and the liveblogging with shared sentiments, emotions, so many different and similar thoughts, or the dash goes silent for a few hours and then it comes alive as we all come here to share our impressions and feelings and thoughts and opinions, such a sense of community and unity and joy, celebrating what we love and each other together through gifs and edits and fics and all kinds of posts , reblogging to gush in the tags knowing that we all are enjoying this, and in a way we create this space where u get to experience the content over and over again through gifs and it's familiar in a comforting way, where u get to experience a bunch of different versions of the story of the blorbos , where u get to feel like and be a part of something bigger than u - a whole community, i think it's beautiful and poetic, a safe heaven, and the coolest thing is that it applies to any fandom and they are intersecting and associating with each other and u end up in a tangled web with ur mutuals and other folks and it's so cozy and wonderful
