being irregular and thinking about that one hlvrai art post that's like " i'll shoot your throat full of bullets! that'll shut you up! " " you're beautiful " and now i'm just thinking about gordon threatening benrey and benry just gets actually flustered and can't come up with any stupid sex jokes or anything and just genuinely compliments him. gordon's like i'm going to fucking kill you right here and now and benry is like [ looking at gordon lovestruck ] you're so pretty.

#this also works for like #non threatening situations. gordon's just getting mad in general at benrey say if they're roommates and benry didn't do the dishes #or put away his laundry or whatever #and benrey is like that ?? is sooo attractive.#it catches gordon off guard and he's like What because it isn't something benrey normally does #and then as soon as gordon catches it benrey is back to being his annoying self #hlvrai #frenrey

one of the reasons the freemance situation also makes me lol is bc it’s sooo similar to to the rhys/sasha situation from tales from the borderlands like there’s certainly something VERY VALID to be said about compulsory heterosexuality, but it’s Very Interesting to me that in both cases it’s a stable interracial heterosexual relationship based on being mutually supportive and attracted to each other being rejected in favor of abusive white gay relationships based largely on fetishization and harmful stereotypes (rhys/handsome jack in tftbl, gordon/benrey in hl)
