this is something i noticed back in bobf but it kinda irks me how they cast so many of the non imperial bad guys as aliens like is that weird to anyone else too
#brot watches the mandalorian#mando spoilers#these fucking pirates are literally all entirely aliens like its weird right its weird#and back in bobf literally all the other crime syndicates were aliens too#meanwhile all the main charactsrs are humans#i feel like theres a logistical reason at play here#like oh the makeup / whatever effects they need to pull off the alien look#are probably just being shoved to background/side characters to cut costs#bc if main chRactsrs needed it then those effects would be featured so much more#but on the other hand you get these really โฆ. weird implications from it then#by casting so msny bad guys as aliens to then face off sll your human protagonists#and also man fuck everythign youre literslly disney you can shell out the money for more interesting protagonists who arent necessarilyhuman#its just so. idk. narrowing? confining#to havs this galaxy weโre supposed to believe has thousands of sapient species#and then almost ALL of our protagonists are humans alone.#its boring as fuck at best. and really uhm. questionable..? at worst
