If you're interested in when Warriors takes place in Shadow Dragon, it kinda takes liberties.
On one hand, Marth has Tiki and Minerva, and Gharnef is still alive which should put the timeline as sometime after chapter 19 but before chapter 23, probably before chapter 21 as there's no indication he's fought Camus.
On the otherhand, Warriors Marth has Falchion, only possible to get by killing Gharnef, and his army is still called Altea when it should be called the Archanean league after chapter 6.
I guess the game takes liberties or is from an AU timeline?
Maybe it’s like Heroes, where it’s a different dimension? An AU timeline would make a lot of sense, since the events of Shadow Dragon seem to change in a few games? Or maybe I’m just overthinking it, and that war only took one year, in which case it is extra hilarious that Chrom and Lucina are both older than Marth when they meet him, and both fangirl over him anyway.
(There’s one part where Chrom mentions working alongside the Hero-King and I think it’s funny because Marth is so confused. Imagine being a sixteen-year-old, just trying to keep yourself and your ragtag group of turncoats alive, and some older guy just comes up and calls you a Hero-King skdbfk)
Time in Fire Emblem games is so confusing. As is distance. And the amount of all-powerful dragon gods who create continents but don’t seem to interact with one another? I think Engage kind of implies that the rings are from different worlds instead of just the past, so maybe there are just a ton of worlds?? But, Shadows of Valentia (it’s the only version I’ve played, so maybe the original was different) really strongly hints that the Shadow War or whatever was the one Marth and co fought in, so like???
Warriors was made just to make the timeline more confusing, that’s my new conspiracy theory.
