So curious about your fruit issues

There’s a lot of Lotte lore that’s not publicly known. But hey here’s a chance to tell you how I became intolerant to watermelon!

I used to play cricket but like religiously. At one point I was practicing for 6 hours a day. But the main issue was I always used to bring watermelon with me to practice and we’d have breaks every hour to stop for tea and a snack. This meant I was having almost half a watermelon 6 times a day. Eventually, your body can’t take it anymore.

That day for me was the day before the national cricket tournament. I never made it to the national cricket tournament.

Big avocado. Little avocado.

In March of 2023, I planted a hass avocado pit that had sprouted. In April of that year, it became a tiny little sprout that in less than a year had grown into a six foot tree. Now, just a few months past it's first birthday, it is at seven feet with several branches. It's growth is starting to slow down but it's now focusing on filling out.

This year, I planted a zutano avocado pit, just for fun. It took a few months, but it finally sprouted only to promptly die; thankfully a new sprout popped up two weeks later and kept going. It's made it just past a foot in height and is much slower growing, but seems pretty happy. I will be getting it a bigger, permanent pot at some point.

I love these stupid trees so much.

Bubs has some time with their friends :]

“I think I’ll just tag along with you for a bit. I’ll visit Crepe again, but that’s not until later.”

“Why don’t you just go and make more friends?” GingerBrave suggested, “There are so many Cookies from all around the Earthbread here.”

Bubs looks around, “I mean... I guess. But they all seem... a little too old for me.”

“You can never be too old to have friends! Besides, Bubs,” they look over at their tiny friend, surprised that he called them their nickname, “You made friends with Avocado Cookie!”

“She’s an outlier.” They smile, remembering her puns that made them chuckle.

Brave and Bubs travel to the Solarium of Unity, just to visit and think for a bit. As Bubs stares at the gorgeous windows for what feels like the 149th time, they look over at GingerBrave, who seems to be deep in thought.

“GingerBrave! Bubblegum Cookie!” Grandpapi greeted the duo in his sunny conduct, “I didn’t expect to see either of you in the Solarium of Unity.”

Bubs waves and says hi to the Ancient Hero.

GingerBrave goes to talk with him about the name of the place, what both have been able to do for each other, and what unity really means. Bubs smiles at the two smaller Cookies in front of them.

“Well, I’ll continue my stroll now. Goodbye friends! Take care.”

Both Cookies waved goodbye at the Ancient. Bubs was still somewhat taken aback that they had bared witness 3 of the 5 Heroes of legends. Grapefruit would have been shaking in her boots if she did, she always studied about them.

“And this was how Golden Cheese Cookie had built her own kingdom.”

“Princess, you can take a break if you want to, y’know?”

She chuckled slightly, before telling them, “It’s just reading, what’s the worse that could happen? Besides, I’m supposed to be knowledgable of our history, as your future princess.”

Bubs sighed. “Fine.” Grapefruit looked faux-guilty, and said,

“I’m sorry, my Bubs. I promise, after I’m done with the Pure Vanilla and White Lily pages, I’ll hang out with you...”

They smiled, “Thank you, princess. I’ll leave you to it.”

Bubs didn’t even realize that GingerBrave had been calling for them that he was going to another part of the Kingdom. Bubs told him to go ahead, they were about to go and ask Strawberry Crepe about some stuff. He nods, then runs off, and Bubs takes a stroll to the Wafflebot Hangar.

They pass by Clotty’s chamber door, closed. They can hear reciting from inside.

“I’m sorry, but the Consul is busy preparing for the Council meeting thoroughly for the day.”

“Oh, Ser Financier. Sorry, I wasn’t trying to talk to him...”

“It is alright, Bubblegum Cookie.”

Bubs feels that now is a time as any to finally end any possible drama between them, because the way she glares at them, it’s like she’s telling Bubs to stay away. 

“Hey... just in case you’re worrying or something, I don’t want to get inbetween you two, I was just being friendly...”

“That is alright, Bubblegum Cookie. You are not getting in between of anything.”

‘Good. It’s not like I’d have a chance to, anyway...’

“Because me and Sir Clotted Cream Cookie are not dating.”

“... Sorry, say what?”

Bubs was shocked... ‘I thought you two were dating or something... you weren’t? You guys were like, so kind and loving together?’

“Yes. I’m quite aware that people think we are a couple, but no. I am merely the Consul’s guard. Possibly, I could be his friend, but I plan to be nothing more.”

Bubs felt awkward, “Oh... hehe, oops. That was really dumb of me... sorry, I didn’t mean to assume.”

“Again, it is quite alright. Besides, the Consul is, from what I understand, single as of now.”

Bubs blushed out of embarrassment, and immediately tried to clear up that they were not, in fact, trying to do anything like that with the Consul, to which, Financier’s response is to smile.

“Finn! Can I call you Finn? Finn! I promise you, I am not trying to flirt with your Consul!”

“Truly? The private visits you have with him made me believe so...”

Bubs covered their face to hide their shame.

“I... I better be off.”

“Alright, may the Light guide you, Bubblegum Cookie.”

“Thank you.”

Anomalous Nature Of Matter Acclimated Life Yeans...

Strawberry Crepe greeted 1% despair, to the dismay of Bubblegum Cookie, due to their hatred for that name. This time, Strawberry Crepe found something they thought would be very interesting to hear from the former knight of the Grapefruit Kingdom.

“It’s an ancient text in this language I can’t understand...”

“Oh, it’s my kingdom’s language. Let me see...” After a bit of decoding, and a lot of olden translations later, they found out that the text said something about a strange beings that were considered anomalies... strangely, they seemed normal, compared to all the Cookies nowadays, at least, especially the magic that seemed to be too powerful, creating these strange candy rocks-

“Wait a minute...”

Crepe posited, “They made the Soul Jam...?”

“But...” Bubs asked, almost afraid, “What does that mean for me? Why would I be an anomaly?”

Crepe looked almost confused themselves... but one thing they wanted to make sure of, for now, is to not share this information.

“Until all this Soul Jam stuff is over and done with... not a peep.”

“I agree...”

They say goodbye to the small genius and decide to sit at the Plaza and wait until the Council Meeting begins.

Hopefully, Clotty finds a way to change their minds.
