Heeey I saw that you are writing for aot again! I use to read them a lot :) could you write the aot boys in a family dinner just something silly and funny pretty please? :) thankss
Hello! Thanks a lot for loving my AoT ones<33 I had no idea that u guys enjoyed a lot to my AoT hcs, I’m so grateful for it ^^’
AoT boys at family dinner (fem. reader)
Eren Yeager
-He had proposed you days ago so you invite him to your family dinner, to introduce to your family. He had prepared considerate gifts for your parent and ur parents immediately liked his behavior. At the dinner, he would be shy to take the dishes into his plate so you have to take for him. “So, how long have u been dating my daughter” your dad asked. “Two years, sir” he replied. “You called me sir?” Your dad raised his eyebrows. He was nervous. “Umm… you don’t like it…?” He asked, looking at you for help. “Haha it’s not that I don’t like it. U can call me dad, alright? We’re gonna be family anyway” he said as Eren was blushing. “Yes, sir…I mean dad” he said, squeezing your hand out of embarrassment and you and your mum laughed.
Armin Arlet
-When you told him your parents are gonna come this evening for dinner, he freaks out cuz he hadn’t prepare anything. “It’s okay u don’t need to, Armin. It’s a casual dinner anyway” U told him. When they arrive, he greeted them politely and they were impressed that he wasn’t nervous at all. He was smart enough to be adjustable and chose right kind of words with his conversation and bond with your parents immediately. The dinner wasn’t awkward at all. Now they even favored him more than you after that dinner.
Reiner Braun
-He wanted to be seen flawless by your family so he tried so hard which made him seemed more like overly suspicious. Your little bro dropped his spoon and he immediately got up and said, “don’t worry I will wash it immediately” then he stood up and did it. Your parents were just being awkward and looked at you and your mum whispered “Is there smth wrong?” she was worried. “I swear he’s not like that” you had to cover for him. “He’s just nervous, mum”. When your dad told a joke, he laughed so hard that made him more awkward. But overall, your parents understood him and when they told him like he doesn’t need to be nervous around them cuz he’s like their son, he felt relived and his actions changed more casual later on which made your parents loved him.
Porco Galliard
-You were so surprised that he’s so good at handling this kind of situation. He easily impressed your parents with his gentleman behaviors and slight humor. “I can’t believe that my daughter attracts this kind of perfect young man” your dad praised him and teased you. “Dad! I’m also good!” you defended. Porco just laughed and replied like “Actually, I’m so lucky to have your daughter. She has everything a man could ask for” which made him get million positive points from your parents and he smiled at you innocently. Before they left, they even reminded you like “don’t let go of this man, kiddo” and u replied like “I get that! I’m your actual daughter, not him, in case u forget” you got smiled fakely and you closed the door. You looked back at Porco, arm crossed. “What?” He smirked, patting your head. “It’s so suspicious that ur behaviors and speech were so smooth that how many times have you done with other girls before, huh?” you asked. “Oh, I swear this is my first time! No need to be jealous that I’m so good at it” he winked and u threw him with pillow.
Erwin Smith
-He actually cooked for the dinner and he lied for you that u did all of those. But your parents knew you couldn’t cook so u can’t fool them and they scolded you. “Don’t bully your fiancé, y/n” your mum said. “Mum I’m not!” U defended. Plus They were so impressed about him like his achievements and manners. And then your dad embarrassing you like “I’m so glad my daughter is marrying with you cuz I was worried if she would be eating cup noodle her whole life” Erwin laughed when your face got red. Your mum even gave him ancient vase that she liked collecting them. They liked him so much that they might even adopt him if you ever broke up.

Guess who finally boarded Deep Space Nine?
After thinking about it for a couple of years and seeing so many gifs and screencaps and discussions on here on Tumblr.com, I finally sat down and watched the first episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and for funsies I kept a stream-of-conscious record of my reactions while I watched.
Spoilers for the 30 year old series premiere, I guess? Anyway, begin:
Oh wow, Deep Space Nine starts with Borg Picard. Also, is that Sisko? I’m so used to seeing gifs of him with facial hair, I barely recognize him.
I’m guessing that this re-uses footage from TNG. Or did Patrick Stewart make a cameo in this series’ first episode?
Dead wife in the first five minutes? Not even any speaking lines? *heavy sigh* Ah, that classic storytelling.
Oh wow, three year time jump.
Aw, Sisko’s son is adorable.
Ah, those early 2000s visual effects. *deep breath* I’m fine, it’s fine, everything’ fine. I’m not watching this for the visual effects, I’m watching it for the characters.
Ooh, Quark. I’ve heard so much about him but know so little of him. Also, cool that Armin Shimmerman is in a starring role. Only ever seen him as a guest star in other series.
Oh wow, Deep Space Nine sure is a… umm… fixer-upper.
Oooh, there is a Picard cameo. Although I still wonder if the Borg stuff was reused footage. It kind of had the feel of it. But that’s neither here nor there now.
Stuck at 32 C, indoors, in those uniforms. Oof.
I already like Major Kira.
Quark looks like a mob boss and I love that for him. Also, “scheduled to depart tomorrow”? Interesting, that’s not what I’ve heard from Tumblr.
Hi Sir Patrick- I mean, Captain Picard.
Oooh, Sisko doesn’t want to the job? Interesting. I can already tell I’m going to like him, he clearly knows how to be diplomatic when the situation calls for it; I never would have guessed from his interactions with the residents of DS9 that he didn’t want to be there.
Sisko’s little smile when the hologram over the stairs is lifted and Kai Opaka begins walking down them is so cute.
This vision/flashback with Sisko and Jennifer is so sweet, but also bittersweet.
Yup, and that reaction when the vision ended is why it was so bittersweet.
A sacred mission in the first episode. Wow. But is it something that’ll be resolved in the first episode, or is it a season long arc? I guess back on the days of DS9, things were a bit more episodic so I’m guessing it’s just a season opener plot.
Wow, Quark wastes no time at all getting things back up and running.
Hello Dr. Bashir. I’ve heard about you from Tumblr. I already understand. Socially awkward, fancy boy accent, a chronic case of foot-in-the-mouth syndrome. I love him already.
Oh, I adore the dynamic between Sisko and Dax.
GIANT MAGIC SPACE PORTAL! WE’VE GOT A GIANT MAGIC- oh wait, those are just called wormholes in science fiction, aren’t they?
I appreciate that Star Trek has its own kinds of space magic. Can’t let Star Wars have all the fun.
“We should have a smoother ride this time.” … Weird, I thought it looked smoother the first time. I must not have been paying close enough attention.
Oooh! They see different things. Interesting!
Dax’s statement is hilarious considering what Sisko is seeing. Beautiful indeed.
Oh, that wasn’t a very nice thing to do to your guests.
No Sisko, don’t go into the light!
Oooh, so the hourglass holograms are… containers? Or something far more complex?
I love scenes like this, where a person’s memories are used to communicate with them. Especially when it cuts between memories of different characters.
-- “It would take two months.”
“It needs to be tomorrow.” – HAHAHAHA! Oh Major Kira, I love you.
I wonder if all the actors recorded the same lines and then the editors cut between the memory scenes, or if each actor only had the lines shown in the episode.
I’ve forgotten the transporter guy’s name, but the scene with him moving all of Deep Space Nine was really well performed.
“Well, they’ve got to listen to reason, haven’t they?” Oh Bashir, you sweet summer child.
Odo is now on the list of characters I adore.
“Perhaps they will be less hostile to Cardassians than to Humans.” Ha! Hahahaha! They already want to kill Sisko. If Dukat goes in there they’re all gonna die.
Oooh, I love the notion of “part of your existence”. I don’t think they’re going in that direction, as Sisko is trying hard to explain linear existence to them, but I like the idea that all experiences are a part of one’s existence, no matter how far in the past.
Not this non-corporeal being trying to understand physical intimacy. Adorable.
“Then why do you exist here?” Ooooh! What a way to embody what it’s like to experience trauma.
Oooh, so the very act of travelling through the portal is disrupting these beings. Reminds me of the Stargate Atlantis episode where the Stargate was powered by the beings made from the fog, and every time the Stargate powered up, more of those beings would die.
Hahahaha, explaining baseball to non-corporeal beings.
“You value your ignorance of what is to come?” Loved the delivery of this line.
Bashir is incredibly pretty.
Ah, O’Brien. I did know that name.
“What shields?” Oh noooo.
“We cannot give you what you deny yourself.” Again, what a fascinating way of exploring the impact of trauma on someone.
“I never left this ship.” Literal tears in my eyes. Wow.
Avery Brooks absolutely killing it in this scene. What a great performance; so much emotion!
“So if you want a war… I’ll give you one.” Major Kira is… my favourite character? I love her? (But also, speaking of trauma… How many of the people on this show are in need to serious counselling?)
Well, this is quite the season opener.
Bashir with his sleeves rolled up. *heart eyes*
“There’s your wormhole.” Petition to let Major Kira say fuck. I could almost hear the “fucking” in that exclamation.
Sisko is so relieved that there are no casualties. I can feel it coming off the screen.
A handshake with Jean-Luc Picard!
Major Kira/Quark? :O Is that a ship? There… there seems like there might be a teensy bit of chemistry there.
Overall, an excellent first episode. This is the third time I’ve watched an Old Trek series opener: Voyager’s was alright, but didn’t make a huge impression on me and took two attempts to complete; I never even finished TNG’s and haven’t gone back to the series since. But Deep Space Nine? I’m already invested.

The beginning of an End II
Erwin x fem!reader
Summary- Y/n L/n, a monotonous but sharp witted captain in the Scout Regiment. Always used to keeping to herself, she lives in her own world. Erwin Smith, the commander of the Scout Regiment itself has been pining over this very woman. Will being aware of his surrounding make a difference?
Part I
Walking around the ground and mentally noting everything I see, I walk past one particular squad leader who never fails to catch my eye. The way she stands there in the sun with the wind blowing through her locks, unfazed of the fact that the commander himself decided to take a walk and look at the way the squads are training. How quietly yet confidently she stood there with her back to me, ordering around the cadets and having everything a bit too much in control and order.
"Jones! What did I say?"
"run a lap?"
"how far?"
" till the stables..?"
"then how far have you ran?"
"till the stables?"
"does it look like I'm a fool?"
" no, captain.."
" go run again" she cut the conversation short with her low and monotonous voice which basically said- don't ask me again.
Even then, it was not the only reason why she caught my eye.
" ay Ronan? Aren't you getting a bit too much for your own good? "
"um..." The girl being bullied just stood there flustered and unable to move with the taller boy in front of her.
"what?" He jabbed "Seeing your skills, don't you think eating so much just to become titan food yourself, is quite a waste?"
With tears in her eyes she just stood there, her head low.
Before I even had the chance to walk there and intervene, someone cut him before he could even utter a syllable.
"what's the matter here?"she spoke like usual.
"umm.." the girl tried to begin.
"go, have lunch" she said at once, motioning towards the girl's usual place.
The taller boy stood there chuckling. Only for her to turn towards him and say, " Gayle, stable duties for 2 weeks and dishes after every dinner for a month. Later, you can help Squad leader Hange with the leftover waste food for the field's compost since you're so worried about food wastage"
He was shocked. He said, "really captain?"
"no"
he laughed and was about to speak before she cut in again- "go before I double it."
"y-yes captain" he said with a frown and ran.
Later, she went up to Ronan and told her something I couldn't catch up to.
From that day, Ronan has been able to stand up a lot after- from what I saw- a pep talk and some personal training by Y/n herself.
That still is just one of the many reasons I never seem to get my eyes off her. I never had been and never will be able to.
- - - - - - - - -
Calling Armin while he was passing by, I asked him to give her and the ones on the same floor, a heads up of today's meeting.
"Armin"
"Yes sir!"
"Could you do me a favour and stop by my office?"
"Yes sir!"
Walking together I entered and took out a piece of paper and scribbled the order of a jar of earl grey tea, knowing she would prefer but this after such a day.
Handing it to him, I said, "Please give it in the kitchens and ask them to make sure this is ready by 5:15. Could you also tell Squad leader Y/n and the others on the floor that the MM is scheduled for today at 5:30 since I won't be present on the day decided "
"Yes sir!" He said the third time that day.
- - - - -
5:10
Reading the time, I stood up to leave and head to the kitchen. On the way there, I couldn't help but wonder what must she be doing now? Writing? Re- scheduling her day? Or just staring at the exact view I am currently looking at? I felt my insides go warm at imaging how ethereal she must be looking when the soft golden glow would hit her face as if it is made just for her. Or how she'd look up and the sun rays slowly piercing through her eye rises making them look more beautiful. While playing such scenes in my head, I reached the kitchen and knocked.
"coming!" I heard the cadet say as she opened the door.
" good evening! commander" she said straightening up.
"good evening Berna. I hope you've prepared the things I asked for?"
" yes sir! We're currently a bit tied up- is it okay if you could wait for a minute or two?" She nervously spoke.
" Alright. I'll be waiting outside"
" or I could just send them to you offi-"
"no, no, it's okay I'll wait" I cut her in, knowing this also the time when Y/n comes to get her flask filled.
And here she comes.
"Good evening Y/n" I said, pushing back the thoughts I had.
"Evening, Erwin" she said defeatedly, probably thinking I'd try to engage her in something.
I would've had some sort of small talk with her or anyone in general but for once, I decided to just bask the warmth of the sun which was about to set with the only person whom I would like to spend small moments like these for the rest of my life.
I looked at her while she gazed at the sun and then the clouds. The moment which I had in my head was nothing compared to this one and it never will be.
The cadet came after what felt like a minute too fast and brought the flask to her. Another one coming up with what I ordered behind him.
Before I could say goodbye- she left.
- - - - - - - - - -
Talking to Hange about the next expedition, I noticed her smiling and her eyes adverting to the right every now and then. Before I could ask her what's going on, she spoke loudly screamed
"Y/N!"
Looking up at her- she looked as if she was just awoken from a peaceful dream and was bought back into the unfathomable reality.
"yes?" She said turning towards her.
"haha, Mike has been calling you for the last minute. Where were you?" She said laughing in between words.
"oh" she said with an embarassed expression well hidden underneath her sombre countenance.
- - - -
As I had expected, she took the cup of the hot earl grey from Miche. I couldn't control myself and stared at her smile to herself before taking a sip and continue with the book laying in front of her and possibly trying not to frown with what she must've read. After what felt like a few seconds, Hange snapped her fingers in front of me and said, "ohh, so I see there's someone who's finally caught your eyes huh? She smirked.
"You could say that" I said truthfully knowing there's no use to hide such a thing.
"ohhhhhh" she said after putting the not so complicated statement together.
" Enough with it." I sighed "Now, about the expedition" I said in a lower voice"
"Yess!-" She said and stopped herself and thought for a second before continuing " I've got a plan where you could kill two birds with a stone" she smirked and resumed.
- - - - - - -
I've thought about each and every single life decision I've made as I walk to the mess hall. Including the time when I agreed about being in love with liking Y/n. I knew that chatter box wouldn't keep her mouth shut, and now many of the scout Regiment know this. Levi could care less although I do think he approves of her seeing that he just looked up at me and got back to work? Without a disgusted face that too. Miche is- miche- he's tried to give me some tips. We all know how that would work. Nanaba just smiled, patted on my shoulder and left. I don't really care about it but knowing how rumours spread, I hope they haven't reached her though she barely converses with anyone, she knows every single rumour and all the tea as some may say. All because of being so quiet and listening in to groups.
As I sit, I see Y/n come sit on her seat at the veteran table.
"Good morning Y/n" I say.
"Morning Erwin" she says back.
"Could you meet me in my office after breakfast?"
She nodded and got up.
After everyone came, I could see Hange getting a bit more chattier with Y/n while Y/n honestly looked invested in she was talking about.
- - - - - - - - - -
I heard soft knocks as I just picked up the document of the exact person who would be waiting outside. Straightening myself and replacing Y/n's background data with the names of the scouts joining us for the upcoming expedition and some extra information regarding the same.
She came in. I read the entire document and looked up to see her staring at the window and how beautiful she looked- I had to tear my eyes from her and then call her.
"Y/n" I said slowly.
"yes?" She said looking out of trance.
Now, I cleared my throat, hoping to get done as soon as possible,"As you know, I won't be available after two days, that is when the monthly meeting was meant to be"
She nodded and I continued before choosing the right words. " on that day, that is- Friday. I along with a few others are leaving for an expedition outside the walls. No one is aware of it yet, neither should they find out. The reason I'm telling you is- I want you to come with us."
"uhm.." before she could begin, I added, " I know it is abrupt and you're not the one of unexpected events but, we are with no choice. It won't be long, which may depend on the amount of information we gather. Knowing you're one of the best we've got, we need you."
I felt like someone actually lifted a stone off my chest but now, the stone could either be lifted off or be kept again with more weight depending on her.
After thinking for some time, she said somewhat defeatedly, "Alright"
I felt like I was on top off the world but instead, I modestly smiled, "I'm glad to hear that"
" How far are we to go?" She asked.
"It will take us approximately- 4 hours to reach there. We'll be leaving at night on the 13th. Depending on that we might even reach earlier"
"ohh, okay"
I've never felt better in this entire year. Honestly speaking, I have zero faith in Hange's plan but I do want Y/n to come with us so that we may actually get some information.
The air between us was quite pleasant, no words were spoken but just sitting there in silence was enough. The sun was shining bright, I felt extremely light without having to bare the weight of thoughts of whether y/n would accompany us or not and most importantly I'm sharing this moment with no one but Y/n.
A few minutes passed like this and I was engrossed in thought about what the future actually holds, not only for Y/n and I but humanity altogether.
This was until I heard Y/n clear her throat, and I looked up for my eyes to meet her's. As cliché as it sounds, I really could get lost in them. For some reason she shook her head and then motioned towards the door, I nodded and smiled, still not out of the trap her eyes set for me.
After seeing her smile back, I felt like I could never get enough of that rare moment of seeing her smile unconsciously and somewhat purposely.
She left and all I could do was stare at the seat where she sat a few minutes ago, before continuing with paperwork.

Leaving
____________________________________
Summary: And even if the two of you were friends, she told herself, it hardly mattered. He was, despite his very vocal protests, friends with Hange, another woman. So one more to the list was no matter of concern.
____________________________________
Pairings: Levi/Reader, Levi/Petra
Genre: Angsty, One Sided Love, Levi ends up happy for once
____________________________________
Levi sat in his office, glaring down at the table full of paperwork. Usually he had a better work ethic then this, completing his work neatly and on time. Today, however, his mind was rather jumbled up. No matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't bring himself to fully focus on the words sprawled on the paper infront of him.
Instead, all he could think about was how, a few days back, Petra had confessed her undying love and devotion to him. He had awkwardly tried to turn her down, only for her to beg him to actually think about it before making a decision. She had insisted that she could break down his walls, if only he would give her a chance.
That had been before they had faced an attack from Marley, so he hadn't bothered to give her offer more then a moments notice, dismissing any notions of romance and too busy with trying to keep his brats alive. But now, he was seriously considering her words. Not the idea of being with her, but the idea of just having someone.
He had spent so much of his life alone. He hadn't felt a warm embrace since the loss of his mother. But maybe, maybe he could actually have a companion. Someone to settle down with, someone who could support him.
Petra would be easy to settle down with, if he was willing to abandon everything that made the idea of being with her uncomfortable. Like the age difference. He was in his early thirties and Petra had just turned twenty. Even though she was the one pushing for the relationship, it still made him feel like a creep. And he knew everyone would point fingers at him, especially since he was her superior officer and she was directly in his squad. Even if he decided to not give a flying fuck about that, the idea of opening his heart to someone who he would probably send to their death at one point was uncomfortable for him.
Sighing, he decided he would turn her down firmly the next time he saw her. There was no reason for him to indulge her, he harboured no romantic feelings for her and it was best she got over her little crush as soon as possible. He would try to be nice as he could about it.
Mind made up, he went back to work.
____________________________________
Petra stood infront of her captain's office door, wanting nothing more then to go inside, but too scared to. She had confessed to him in the spur of the moment and was now afraid of facing rejection from him. Although a part of her, the part that was hopelessly in love with him, refused to give up.
It was well known that Captain Levi wasn't the type to take any sort of lover. In fact, someone had even passed a rumour that during his health inspection, he had checked the box for sexual partners as none. Of course, that rumour had also been promptly strangled to a graceless death once he got wind of it and made the entire survey corps run till they dropped. Everyday. For a week.
She knew he was hardly what one considered attractive, and that the attention and admiration he got from his title often withered away because of his stone cold personality. But she neither cared for his looks, nor his rank.
She was one of the few people who had noticed his kindness. The way he went out of his way to help his comrades, whether it was on the battlefield or giving advice. The fact that he gathered momentos of their fallen cormades. How he often carried expeditions on his back to lower the death rate. All those little things that others failed to notice, she had. And all of it made her fall hopelessly in love with him.
She could tell he thought that spending the rest of his life on his own and dying on the battlefield was his fate, but she would do everything possible to convince him otherwise.
Resolving herself to convince him, she knocked. The door creaked open, and peering in, she realized he wasn't in his office. Suddenly she remembered that most of the soldiers had gone out to drink, she figured he must have gone along with them.
Shrugging, she decided it would be best to approach him the next day and decided to go to sleep early rather then seek him out right now.
She had no idea how much she would regret not going to the bar that night.
---------------
The bar was packed. Levi scrunched up his nose in disgust at the sight before him. Rowdy soldiers laughed and sang together. The smell of booze wreaked in the air and someone was playing the guitar.
He had been dragged into this filthy place by Hanji. All the soldiers had the night off and wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. The only reason Levi had allowed Hanji to drag him in here was because he refused to let the 104th cadets drink. It was entertaining to snatch the glass of alcohol out of their hands, watch them fume, turn around and then falter at the sight of their captain being the culprit.
Once Eren and his little group left the bar, Levi decided his job of torturing the brats was done, and left a little while after them. He had initially wanted to leave the moment they had, but Hanji had decided to play her usual game of pointing out random, pretty girls in hopes of inticing him to 'getting some'. Once she got desperate at his constant rejection and started highlighting men, he tripped her and left at the speed of lightning.
Walking slowly in the darkness, he let himself enjoy the peace and quiet. The Survey Corps headquarters were always loud. Something was always going on. Whether it was training, mission plans, Hanji, the brats wreaking havoc or Eren accidentally transforming for the unteempth time, he could never enjoy any genuine quietness.
The sound of a struggle broke him out of his thoughts, eyes narrowing as he turned to the source.
'Let go of me-I said let mph GO-'
'Come on we just wanna have some fun-'
He inched closer to the alleyway. Spotting three men surrounding a struggling woman, pulling at her clothes, the sight had his blood boiling. The image of another woman, older, being pulled at by men too strong for her, just like this, flashed through his mind.
Without a second thought, he lunged.
____________________________________
The next day, the Survey Corps headquarters was rather quiet. Over half the soldiers nursed hangovers and pretty much died at anything louder then a whisper. The former 104th cadets, who had been upset at not getting to drink, suddenly felt glad. The faces of their superior officers gave away exactly how horrible they felt.
Petra chuckled at the sight of her cormades and their pathetic state, relieved that she hadn't gone out, sothe newbies wouldn't see her in this less-then-decent condition as well.
'Umm, excuse me?'
Almost half the room turned towards the door. A woman stood there, her long hair tied in a braid and holding a basket full of goodies in her hand.
'I'm here to visit someone. I was hoping someone could guide me to him. '
Armin, closest to the door, smiled pleasantly and approached her. The rest of the room returned to their business of trying to look alive despite feeling the opposite inside. No one else bothered hearing what was going on, although Petra couldn't help taking note of their visitor.
You were clearly a civilian and, Petra had to admit, quite the beauty. Wearing a white button up shirt with a light green vest on top and a long brown skirt. A rather plain look, but it suited you nonetheless.
Armin began leading you away, and Petra realised she hadn't learned who you were visiting. Oh well, it was almost time to give the captain his tea. The mystery could be solved later.
.....................
Holding a tray with tea, some biscuits and two cups, she knocked on the door. She could hear muffled noises, it was probably Commander Erwin or Hange inside with him. She smiled to herself, glad that she had brought more then one cup.
Once given permission, she entered, and found herself rather startled by the sight infront of her.
For once, the captain wasn't seated at his desk. He sat on the couch, casually leaning back, one leg crossed over the other, an arm splayed on the top right of the sofa. On his left, sat the pretty woman who Armin had led away. The basket she had brought with her had been opened, and its contents, which included cookies and box's of tea, were strewn about on the table infront of them.
'Oi put the tea down already.'
Snapping out of her thoughts at the Captain's voice, Petra swallowed roughly, trying to keep her expression neutral and set the tray down. She began to reach for the kettle to pour it for him, all the while trying to not give into curiousity and the ugly feeling in her gut by looking at the woman occupying the other end of the couch. A part of her sorely wished she had only brought one cup instead of two.
'There's no need to pour it for me. You can leave now'
'B-but captain I always-'
'There's no time. We have patrol in the afternoon, go tell the others and prepare accordingly. If I find anyone slacking off because of last night, I'll kick the shit out of them'
There was no room to even think about disobeying that tone, so, with a clear 'Yes sir!', she stiffly saluted him and left the room. Each step felt strangely heavier then the last.
..................................................
When Petra had joined the Survey Corps, one of her favorite activities had easily been horse riding. It was relaxing for her, even on patrol. The light breeze that accompanied it made her feel fresh and it was good excercise too. She often got lost in her thoughts during this time. Although, not for the first time, her thoughts were centered around the man leading the patrol.
She didn't contemplate how strangely handsome he looked with his hair swishing back and forth like that. Nor did she think of ways to get him to accept her. Today, she could only mentally question him.
Who were you? How long had you known each other? Were you a friend? Or a fan? Wait no, Captain Levi didn't entertain fans, no matter how attractive. The two of you had clearly met before. Were you his lov-
Petra slammed the brakes on that thought before it could finish, calming herself. She was getting too out of hand and wild with her assumptions. You had likely been an aquantince of some sort. Nothing more.
And even if the two of you were friends, she told herself, it hardly mattered. He was, despite his very vocal protests, friends with Hange, another woman. So one more to the list was no matter of concern.
Determined to shut out the voice in her head that alluded to that you being something more then a friend, Petra nudged her horse fiercely. She simply wasn't use to him being even slightly friendly towards other women. That's all.
The strange burning in her chest never quite left.
____________________________________
Later, she learned that you had come to thank him. Captain Levi had saved you from some thugs last night. Relieved, she told herself to not think about you anymore. Clearly, your visit had been a one time thing and Captain had just been polite. She doubted she would see you again. And so, she carried on with her life, dismissing all her thoughts about you.
Three months later, they had returned from a mission and stopped for a while in the civillian district that came before their headquarters. Everyone dispersed, with Eld dragging Gunther away to the flower shop to buy something for his fiance and Eren and his group heading to a food stall. After Olou made another attempt at hitting on her and bit his tongue, Petra promptly went looking for the Captain.
She figured he was probably at some tea stall, trying different tea's. Or maybe buying cleaning products. Humming, she strolled along the road, eyes scanning the crowd. He had turned her confession down, but she was still determined to let him know that she cared. Maybe spending some time with him would reassure him that she was serious? She was willing to wait for him as long as necessary.
When she finally found the person she had been looking for, her heart dropped in her stomach.
Captain Levi was sitting at a little cafe, drinking tea, just like she had thought he would be. However, he wasn't alone. You, dressed smartly in a knee length yellow dress, sat next to him. The two of you appeared to be peacefully chatting and sipping tea, clearly interacting with more familiarity then two strangers were supposed to possess towards each other. An indication that this wasn't a just a coincidental second meeting. Or third.
Petra hadn't cried since her first expedition, something she was proud of. She had faced deathly situations on a mothly basis since then and had refused to shed a single tear. But right now, as she turned on her heel and walked away with as much dignity as she could muster up, she really wanted nothing more then to sob into her pillow.
____________________________________
The next time she saw you again was about nine months after the 'Cafe Incident'. The Survey Corps had returned from a deadly mission. They had accomplished their goal, but some had sustained some injuries, fortunately incurring no loss of life. The biggest one of the injuries was captain Levi. He had gotten wounded while protecting Mikasa. The girl had gone off on her own again and nearly gotten killed.
After the doctor had looked him over and bandaged his wounds, he had been put on a week of bed rest. He had tried to vehemently argue against it, but Commander Erwin had put his foot down and ordered him to do nothing for the entire week or be suspended.
All the members of squad Levi had taken turns bringing him food and changing his bandages. Even a guilty Mikasa had helped out, shamefully apologising to Captain Levi.
Of course, it was only when it was Petra's turn, that you chose to visit captain. Entering the room, with a tray of bread, soup and some water, she could only feel relieved that the Captain was asleep and that you were sitting far away from him on the couch while reading a book. Food containers were neatly set on the table, filled with stew and boiled vegetables.
When the door opened, you looked up and then smiled at her. The smile faded when Petra set the tray down and began talking.
'You shouldn't be here'
'Excuse me?'
Maybe it was because she was feeling petty, or jealous, or both really. But she couldn't stop herself from misusing the rules to make you go away.
'Civillians aren't allowed here on work days. And they certainly aren't allowed to bring food here. You need permission from the commander or the Captain'
It was a lie really, the entire week after a mission like this was usually considered unofficially off, hence there was no need to get permission. Several soldiers often recieved visits from concerned family members during this time. Petra knew that well. You, however, did not, and looked confused.
'I-Levi never mentioned that- He told me I'm listed as his emergency contact and that means I don't need permi-
'I checked the list. There's no name there'
Another big, fat lie. Your name had been discreetly added to his file a month ago. Petra had bitterly discovered it while delivering the file to Commander Erwin and had accidentally opened it beforehand.
'Are you sure? I signed the form, if you could please check agai-'
'I'm sorry but there's no name there. Please leave and take your things with you. You need specific permission and an actual relation to the soldier to visit'
Okay, she was officially a petty bitch. The part of her that felt ashamed at her own behaviour was easily overcome by the part of her that was sick and tired of being indirectly rejected by Captain Levi for this- this woman. She couldn't help feeling victorious as you made to gather your things.
'She doesn't need to go anywhere'
Petra's eyes widened, while you stopped your movements and immediately rushed to his side, asking him how he was feeling. He answered lowly, voice hoarse from sleep, assuring you that he was fine.
Like a thief caught stealing, Petra made to leave the room as silently as possible. As she shut the door, she briefly made eye contact with Captain Levi, whose usually emotionless eyes had morphed into a dark glare. He obviously hadn't missed out on what she had tried to do and if that last look had been anything to go by, she was in some major trouble.
____________________________________
Levi calmly ate his stew, enjoying the fresh and rich flavour. You had made it for him, hence why he couldn't help savouring it even more. You had left a while ago, after he had made you leave. You ou couldn't stay overnight and he wasn't comfortable with you walking in the dark by yourself.
With a slight smile, he mulled over your existence. You had been a part of his life for a year now and he honestly hadn't expected things to turn out the way they had when he first you.
You, the crying, shivering girl he had walked home that night, had now become the most important person in his life.
And, Levi scowled, you had just been majorly disrespected by one of his subordinates. He had expected better from Petra. She had allowed her personal feelings to get in the way of being a professional comrade and had misquoted official guidelines.
He had initially been furious and had wanted to punish her immediately. However, you had insisted on finding out what the matter was and had stopped him from acting out in anger. It was solely because he had you calming him down that he hadn't taken any drastic steps.
You had been the voice of reason, pointing out to him about how young Petra was, and how to her, she had watched her first love pretty much fall into the arms of another woman. She was just a young girl who couldn't bottle up her feelings properly yet. Professionally punishing her now would only lead to more outlandish behaviour. Her feelings were something she would grow out of, or at least learn to control. Any official repercussions would lead to a bad mark on her record and would probably make the matter worse. His usual style of dealing with brats just wouldn't work this time.
With a heavy sigh, he leaned into the pillows, wondering where he had gone wrong. He had rejected Petra firmly when had found the chance, which had been a day after meeting you. He had tried to be gentle about it, not wanting to hurt his comrade and had thought she was mature enough to not take it too personally. Obviously, he had been wrong.
While Petra hadn't approached him with any more confessions, he had caught her looking at him with that weird, longing expression more times then he was comfortable admitting. Her feelings had begun to interfere with her behaviour, and that was intolerable. No matter what you said, he would have to do something about this sooner or later.
The solution came to him a week later.
____________________________________
Petra stood in Commander Erwin's office, shoulders straight, arms in a firm salute. She could hardly believe her ears.
'I-I'm being promoted sir?'
'Eventually, yes. You and the rest of the senior members of Levi squad will support Section Commander Hange and train new squads formed from the 105th and 106th cadet corps. The end result will be four squads, each led by one of you, giving you the rank of Captain in about a year. The rest have already been informed.'
She stared in awe, not sure if this was real. She had walked in here, nervous, expecting an official warning for her behaviour with the woman whose-name-she-refused-to-even-say-in-her-mind. It had been four months since then, and captain Levi hadn't said a word to her about it, only assigning Sasha in her place to bring him tea in the morning. She had figured her punishment had been the unnaturally long wait for it and that the Commander would rip her a new one for making the Survey Corps soldiers look disgraceful in front of civillians. After all, the Military Police and the Garrisons were the ones lacking discipline, while the Survey Corps was reknown for being the prim and proper gorup.
With a determined smile, she profusely thanked the Commander, feeling genuinely grateful and excited at the prospect of leading the next batch of soldiers.
'The Special operation Squad has been officially disbanded. All four of you will head to the Northern Survey Corps headquarters with the cadets-'
Her eyes widened, heart plummeting.
'-and train them to respond to severe situations in that area. The military there was far too unprepared for Rod Reiss's Titan attack. It Marley attacked from there, we wouldn't be able to withstand it'
'Sir the northern branch..?'
She hadn't mean to interrupt him, but the words had left her mouth before she could stop them. Erwin raised an eyebrow at her, his expression cool and tone even, but still sharp enough to make her wince.
'Is there a problem officer Ral?'
'No sir!'
'Good. Prepare to head out in a week's time. After a year, they give soldiers the oppurtunity to settle their family in the civillian areas. So make sure to fill out the paperwork for it.'
With one last salute, Petra made to leave, only to stop dead at the Commanders voice. This time it was dry and toneless, but the threat was clear in it.
'One last thing, Officer Ral. Do try to behave respectfully and professionally around the family members of the higher ups there. Not everyone is as forgiving as Captain Levi. Some would end your career in minutes.'
Unable to look him in the eye, she bowed her head in agreement.
'Dismissed, Officer Ral. Have a safe trip and work hard. '
____________________________________
After fleeing to the safety of female barracks and finally finding herself alone, she let go of her somber demeanour and let the tears of humiliation loose.
Her promotion wasn't about her doing a good job so far. In fact, it was a way of saying that she wasn't doing her current job well enough. She had known that some soldiers would be sent to the Northern areas to improve the military there, but had figured Captain Miche and his squad would take on that responsibility.
The only way she and the rest of her squad had been nominated for it would be if Captain Levi had suggested them. And for the life of her, she couldn't figure out why. Besides the incident with you, she had still been dutiful as ever. Everything done on time and as efficiently as possible. So why had Captain decided to punish her like this. Sending her away from all her cormades, uprooting her career so carelessly. Just why.
Wiping her eyes, she realized she would just have to ask him herself.
____________________________________
'This isn't punishment Petra'
'But Captain, it feels like it is-'
'No, you dumb brat. If this was punishment, why would the rest of the squad be going with you? Why the hell are they so happy, frolicking around like little high-as-fuck shits huh? It's because it's a fucking honour. All of you are being assigned to build and lead the Northern military forces. A military that hardly exists, you shit heads are going to built it from scratch. And here you are whining in front of me, like a petulant little brat'
She gazed at him, wide eyed. Opening her mouth to talk, she immediately shut up as he glared fiercely at her.
'Stop holding yourself back because of your...'feelings' for me. You're more then this. You've done a damn good job on the field and this is your reward. Now get out of my office, go pack and then fucking celebrate your promotion with the rest of those hormonal brats. Understood? Good. '
With a wave of his hand, he dismissed her. He could only hope his words had gotten through to her and that she understood that he truly hadn't meant to punish her.
Shoulders slumped, she walked down the hallway to her room. Captain Levi's words had cleared her head, however, Petra thought to herself sadly, the sight of you nursing your swollen, clearly pregnant stomach, while Armin and Mikasa helped you up the stairs, had made a far stronger impact.
It really was a good thing she was leaving.

A/N: I read too many fanfics about Levi breaking the readers heart for Petra 😤😤. So, I decided I would (realistically) break Petra's heart. Not for the reader. But, for reasons that make sense, rather then Levi rejecting Petra specifically for the reader. Also, Levi is in his mid thirties and reader is at least 27. I kinda wanna make a part that explores the hints of Levi and Readers relationship I gave in this, but I don't know if anyone would want to read that. My asks are open, so please ask away. I hope y'all enjoyed this!

GWHAJWJWJQKQKQOW NOT ARMIN SAYING THAT EREN HAD BAD GAME THATS SO TRUE. like armin would purposely say something to try and break eren’s ego which would cause eren to somewhat SPIRAL. i don’t want to say that he would hate armin but i just think that he wouldn’t view armin the same along with what you said about their friendship wouldn’t be the same. eren would maybe view armin just as a ‘friend’ and not an genuine friend, like the tension there.
SPEAKING of tension ugh mikasa and annie. annie would be bothered obv because armin was upset with mikasa causing her to be upset with mikasa while mikasa would be upset that her and armin aren’t close but she would not give a shit about how annie thinks about her because she doesn’t feel like her friendship between her and armin is her business.
like she wouldn’t be harsh or rude in any sense but she would make it clear and be like “i understand that you are upset with me because of armin and i’s past fight but it isn’t something you need to get included in as his girlfriend. you’re good for him and i would prefer that you don’t get involved in our problems in order to maintain yours and his relationship” OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT IDK IM NOT THAT GOOD AT ANALYZING CHARACTERS. and yes it’s still me armin slander anon 💌
HE WOULD AND WHEN MIKASA SCOLDS HIM ABOUT IT HE ACTS LIKE HE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT SHE’S TALKING ABOUT AND PLAYS IT OFF AS HIM JUST TELLING EREN HE NEEDS TO STOP BEING A HOE.... mikasa reluctantly agrees and armin of course being the little menace goes about his day like he didn’t just shrink eren’s ego— eren literally get’s so mad and is like yk what fuck yall and whines about it to literally everyone he comes across and they’re like “i mean eren... he’s not wrong” and eren goes into that stage where he thinks he doesn’t have any real friends and is like “dont hmu💔” like.... sir get it together, umm... yeah, thats emo eren arc for you😀👍🏾

Decisions Of a Capricorn

Chapter 1: Admit it
____________________________________
Summary: As a Capricorn, patience and determination are amongst your most well known qualities. Although no one is immune to occasional frustrations, you attempt to be understanding and calm in all your dealings.
Alternatively, Levi tries to make sense of what the hell is going on and tries not to chose violence.
____________________________________
What. the. Fuck.
This couldn't be happening, it seriously couldn't. Was it a dream? No, he had punched his fist into a wall, pinched himself but still, it all felt too real. Maybe he was in some sort of fucked up heaven? Whatever the case, he felt ready to throw hands with whatever deity had done this to him.
With a shaky breath, Levi began to calm himself and sort through the situation. His fingers were back, he could see from his left eye again. There weren't any scars on his face nor any bandages on his chest. Levi was, by all means, back to his prime. Which would be great news really, except he was apparently five fucking years in the past. At least he thought it was five, considering the very much alive faces of his Special Ops Squad.
He had woken up, disorientated, expecting to either be bleeding out or in hell with Erwin. The sight of his impeccably clean office had made him pause. When he had heard a knock on the door and automatically told the person to come in, he had damn near short circuited at the sight of a very much alive Eld, strolling in with a cup of steaming tea.
What. The. Fuck.
Years of dealing with Hange and titans and the bullshit called life had hardened Levi to the point he could keep his expression neutral infront of the teen. He listened as Eld prattled on about duties and nodded along, not trusting himself to speak lest he shatter the world he had ended up in.
'.. Captain we'll be leaving for the castle today with Eren..'
Eren. Eren fucking Yeager. Oh God, he was going to kick this brats ass. Even if this likely was nothing more then an illusion, he would whoop Eren to hell and back for the shit he had put them through-
'Umm- captain?'
Snapping out of his vivid strangling Eren fantasies, he composed himself.
'We'll leave shortly. Prepare for the journey.
'Yes Sir!'
On second thought, Levi thought as he leaned back in his chair, whatever deity had thrown him here might deserve a little thanks. He owed Yeager a black eye. Scratch that, he owed both Yeagers a black eye. Well, in Zeke's case it was more of a blade through his throat. Maybe he could at least achieve that in his dream world.
____________________________________
'.... So the mission plan is..'
Levi had spent the last 5 years missing his dear friend. He had truly cherished Erwin, and hadn't enjoyed his own part in the man's death. But, he had forgotten how tedious and boring meetings with him were. Just how did the man go on and on about this crap and not lose his mind? And how had he ever listened along and not bashed someone's, preferably his own, head on the wall?
Sipping his tea, he silently wondered how long this was going to last. The weird fantasy he was stuck was exceptionally accurate, not a thing out of place. It was almost as if it was all real. But he knew better then to delude himself, and so was only really playing along until he was back in his own time. Or world. Or whatever. The figuring out what-the-hell-is-going-on was more of Hange's thing. Speaking of which, Levi paused mid sip as someone kicked the door open, interrupting Erwin mid speech.
'....Ness and his squad are in the right-'
'ERWWWIINNNN'.
Levi perked up. Just a few hours ago, he had seen the exuberant woman burn to death. One of his closest friends was suddenly alive and well and absolutely fi-
'PLEASE LET ME EXPERIMENT ON EREN PLE-'.
And, just as obnoxiously loud as ever, he chuckled to himself. He watched as she enthusiastically shook Erwin, demanding Eren for herself. The usually composed blonde commander looked like he wished he was the commander of any other military branch as he fended her off. Moblit could only try and fail to pull her away.
This Hange looked just as youthful she had been before becoming commander. Her eyes bright, arms flailing around like a tornado, voice screeching higher then it should be legal. It was the Hange that had been missing for quite some time now-replaced by an overburdened, tired version of herself. It felt good to see her rampaging around and giving Moblit heart problems and probably reducing his lifespan. Just like the old times.
'Hey shitty four eyes.'
'Hi Le..vi..'
Hange trailed off, clearly stunned. Erwin raised an eyebrow at him while Levi nonchalantly set his tea cup down.
'What? You constipated?'
'No, it's just, you never say hi to me..'
'Yes I do.'
Hange went on as though she hadn't heard him.
'....While smiling like that.'
Oh. That explained alot. Levi hastily corrected his expression, he had gotten too caught up in his relief of seeing Hange alive and actually smiled at her. Said woman, however, was suddenly in his face, hand resting on his forehead.
'Do you have a fever? What if this is a side effect of titan shifters on short people-'
'Shut the fuck up four eyes.'
'And he's back to normal. So, Erwin, I need Eren to myself for-'
'Hange- you're talking too fast-'
'Section Commander please calm down-'
'....We have so many experiments to conduct. What if there are titans attracted to Eren? What if he gives off pheremones and they want to MATE with him?'
The entire room went silent. Moblit looked like his soul had left his body, Erwin and Levi stared at her in disbelief. The former looked ready to hand in his resignation to God for his existence and the latter looked irritated.
Thankfully, Erwin spoke up first, before Levi could attempt to throw Hange out the window.
'That's enough. We won't be putting him through experiments that we know have no basis-'
Levi watched as Erwin began lecturing a pouting Hange. He poured a cup of tea and nudged it towards Moblit, who tossed him a grateful look.
A part of him wanted to smile, happy to be back with the people he cared about. To have his comrades alive and well in front of him. It gave him a sense of peace that he hadn't had in a long time.
But, ever the pessimistic, he dashed his own hopes.
None of this was real.
____________________________________
It was an effort, but through sheer will power, Levi managed to curb his violent urge to beat the shit out of Eren. Instead, he allowed them to make their journey to the castle, feeling hazy and distracted. His squad and Eren chattered as he rode ahead on his horse. He could vaguely make out Olou obnoxiously picking on Eren and biting his tongue. Just like the last time he had been there.
He couldn't bring himself too look at them for too long, the horrifying scenes of their deaths would start flashing in his mind. Too long his nightmares had consisted of the deaths of the people riding alongside him. He often darkly imagined that they had blamed him. For not getting there in time. For not telling them about the female titan. For being a useless, shitty captai-
Levi cut off that train of thought. Not now. Not when they were in front of him, so full of life.
Seeing his squad, alive and bickering like usual, it was too good of a sight to pass up. Olou childishly imitating him, Eld and Gunther poking fun at Petra and Olou, Eren floundering about as though he wasn't planning on mass murdering billions of people in five years. It made him miss them even more, knowing none of what was happening was actually happening.
He had spent years mourning his comrades. When Paradise had begun advancing in technology, when they had seen the ocean and explored what was on the other side of it, he had missed all of them. Achieving so much without them had always left him feeling a little empty.
How long was this journey going to last? How long would he spend in this fantasy world? Why was he even here? Maybe he was still alive and hallucinating about the people of his past. This was all in his head, the dying dreams of a useless old man taking his last breathes. As they reached the castle, he immediately gave orders for cleaning the filthy place.
He would mourn his own failures later.
____________________________________
Later at night, Levi sat in his chair, feeling his frustration return to him full force. Dream world or not, it didn't change how useless he had become. Losing to that shitty monkey, getting so brutally injured, unable to contribute a damn thing to the battle. Armin had gotten kidnapped right in front of his eyes, Connie had nearly died and Mikasa of all people had to save him . He was the one those idiots called humanity's strongest yet he had been nothing but cannon fodder. A burden.
He hadn't been able to do shit for them. Zeke was still alive, a horde of shitty titans with limitless energy were blocking their way to Eren, they had no supplies and no way of leaving the battlefield without Armin. An absolutely pathetic situation--and it had been all his fault.
If only he had killed Zeke back in the forest. If he had chopped his head off and burned his body to ashes, none of this would have happened. Eren had needed Zeke to activate the rumbling, without him, none of this would have happened. So many lives had been lost because of that monkey, turned into mindless titans and slaughtered. Commander Pixis, Nile..
And he was the one who let it get that far.
Rather then ending the entire battle in a flash- he had made a mistake. A mistake that had cost them too much. His own abilities and the lives of his comrades. He would never be able to sleep in peace again.
With Zeke dead, they would have had time. Eren would need Historia for the rumbling and would have had to wait till she gave birth. They could have talked things through--or sealed Eren up or even given Eren's power to someone else. Anything would have been better then the senseless genocide Eren had launched.
A part of him also questioned if he was to blame for Eren lashing out like this. Coming up with such a plan, going against the military.. Why had Eren not trusted him? He hadn't been the nicest but, Levi felt a pang of hurt as thought about how much he had sacrificed for Eren. His comrades and their lives had been reduced to less then dirt particles, to keep Eren alive. Only for him to turn on them so easily. If Eren and Zeke had been really working together, did that mean he had known Zeke would try to kill him? Was there anything he could have done to change the outcome of all of this? Just where had he messed up with Eren and lost track of him? Despite all the questions plaguing him, he knew he couldn't undo the past. Dwelling on it like this was doing him no favours.
And now, here he was, despite his failiures, in tip top shape, completely okay. Yet he wasn't where he was needed. His brats were fighting for their lives and here he was fantasising about a better life as though he hadn't just damned all the others.
Scowling fiercely, he forced himself to calm down. Nothing would make how miserable he was feeling go away. He could only wait for himself to wake up and face his reality. Hopefully, he would be the only casualty in the mission. He wasn't sure he could look any of them in the eye again if he lived and one of them hadn't. Sasha's death had already been too much for him.
His headache wouldn't go away, so he went to make himself some tea. Only, he found himself stopping short at the sound of someone sniffling. Levi discreetly approached the source of the sound.
Remus Ferguson
The brat had been in the survey corps for about a year now. If Levi recalled right, he had lost his girlfriend in the last expedition, which explained the tears so late at night. Remus himself would die when the female titan attack-
Wait.
What. The. Fuck.
He hadn't seen this before. Everything so far, every interaction, it had occurred before. But this hadn't. He hadn't seen remus crying last time. He had known of Remus crying up a storm at night, courtesy of his squad members. But he hadn't witnessed it first hand.
Watching the teen sob, he began rationalising the events of today.
If he was in some self constructed fantasy world, why wasn't it all happy? Why were there still titans? Why was anyone in pain? Where were Isabel and Farlan? He knew he had never wanted to see any of his comrades in pain. Unless...this wasn't just a dying man's fantasy..
If he had to fantasise about a happier time in his life, wouldn't it be with his mother? He had always known that the one thing he had wanted most in the past twenty something years was to feel his mother's warmth again. To hear her sweet voice sing him a lullaby to sleep. So if he really was dying, why see this? Why be back at a time where everything was just okay? Why not a time where he was actually happy?
In fact, why not a world where he everyone he wanted to be alive was alive? Rather then a dream, it felt like he had been plucked from one time period and left to live his life from another one...
His mind raced as he finally reached a conclusion, and without a second thought he fled back to his room, too shocked to acknowledge his new discovery.
____________________________________
A knife had been Levi's companion in life far longer then any other human being. His mother, Kenny, Isabel, Farlan, Erwin, Hange and all his other comrades had come and gone. But knives had been consistent. Constant.
Even after he had escaped the clutches of the underground and its lawlessness, he had always carried one with him. It made him feel safe, knowing he had weapon-- even if it was virtually useless while fighting titans. Of course, Erwin hadn't known about it. It was the one thing he wasn't willing to be talked out of, even by Erwin.
Although, Levi mused to himself, Erwin would have been justified in taking it away if he could see him right now, pointing said weapon at his arm, ready to slice.
If he actually bled, if he was still sitting here, bleeding but alive and well, he would admit his findings to himself and move forward, just as he always had. He would accept the situation, no matter how crazy it seemed, and plan accordingly.
Resolving himself, he slid the knife.
Ten minutes later, Levi finally admitted it.
He had travelled back in time.

A/N: So this idea got stuck in my head, because I rewatched AOT and realized a bunch of stuff that could be changed. I picked Levi because he's my favorite. There's going to be more parts for this--where Levi just changes everything. And it'll basically end up a happier AOT. And yes, I plan on giving Levi some romance in this too, because this boi deserves it 😤. It won't be complete happiness and fluff, because I plan on it being realistic. I also don't know if anyone would actually like this but the urge to write it was too great. So, till next time!⭐
