#this is how fucking jinxed my birthday is okay#i got the aftg rainbow crate box set waaaaay back in march thinking oh if it ships in the fall it’ll be a little early / late birthday gift#(early bc i paid for it in march / late bc it wouldn’t arrive on my birthday but maybe a couple of weeks after)#it shipped two days before my birthday and i was like oh it’ll get here by late october!! at the latest early november!! great!!#it is now almost two months since it was shipped and i haven’t gotten an update on its status since oct 11#the ppl at rainbow crate were so nice and offered to send me a replacement set so at least it’s not like i’ll miss out#and then to top it all off my dad just told me he has an address near the border where he has things shipped and then brought over#and apparently he’s had this address forever 💀#i could’ve saved so much money on the shipping for the set rip#anyway hopefully either the original set i was shipped does arrive at some point or they send a replacement set#i just really wanted to reread them when i got the physical books and well it’s been a while#also i know this probably has nothing to do with my birthday but it just feels like the bad luck stems from there
