“ Baby, you got me tumbling around you, stand up to fall down.

A grimace was painting your face while you looked at yourself in the mirror, the outfit looked great, but it didn’t feel complete… Something was missing. Your eyes began to wander around your room just to bump into the jersey you were lent by the captain of the Otter Penguins and a big smile started to grow in your lips. That was it.

The night before you were invited by one of your friends to her game, claiming how it was important to her and how your presence would help her win and how could you say no to her? Korra was one of your dearest friends, you appreciated her so much. Your hands lifted up the piece and took it to your nose; you could still smell the girl’s scent on it, it was fading away, but you could still feel it and for now, it was enough.

Korra and you had been close to each other for some time now and both had cultivated feelings towards each other, you were sure they were just your typical friendly love, but Korra was convinced she did have feelings towards you. You, who occupied her mind almost all day, the one who made her smile with your mere existence and her team knew, just like her own friends did, everyone was aware but you and she didn’t really mind it, but it sometimes made her feel down, she wanted you to reciprocate, she needed you to reciprocate so her heart would feel at ease finally. So she made up a plan to invite you to her final season game to tell you after the match about her feelings for you… Easy, right?

The air horn indicating the beginning of the game made everyone at the stadium cheer. You took your food in one hand and the large cup of beer in the other to start making your way to your seat next to the rest of Korra’s friends. The captain had reserved the whole front seat for you five, above the bench of her team so she could have a good look at you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “What the fuck was that!?” Mako’s voice sounded when an offside was pointed for Korra’s team. “That wasn’t an offside!”

Your head turned to the girls making company, Opal smiled at you. “The defense crossed before the disc.” she explained to you while you nodded, the brothers were screaming like their lives depended on it.

After accepting Korra’s invitation to the game, you had found yourself almost having a crisis when you remembered you didn’t know a single thing about such sport, thankfully Asami and Opal had been invited too to the game and when they saw you with a confused look on your face both girls assured you they would explain the game to you.

A small break was announced to have a change of members, your eyes turned down to the characteristic blue jersey and made sure it was clean.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Would you look at that,” Korra’s voice said when you tried on the jersey the first time. “It fits like a glove on you… You look beautiful.” Such comment made your face burn.

You decided a second before going out that maybe you should show Korra how much you support her and the team, after all, that’s what friends do, don’t they? Wear the piece of clothes lent by the other after one claimed how they had another jersey and how you could keep that one, totally friendly.

Blue eyes looked over to the public and with such great timing both orbs bumped into each other, you smiled big and waved at her before giving her thumbs up. Korra felt like the air on her lungs got caught at your sight, how you looked so ethereal with her jersey on, it was her jersey… Hers! Korra’s! Her number was on your back and sleeves! Her name is displayed for everyone to see it! She smiled back at you before adjusting her mouthguard at the same time the air horn sounded again. Your silhouette gave her the motivation to play with her whole and just like that, the marker changed drastically in her favor.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Where was that in the first half!?” Bolin exclaimed in a mix of offense and excitement when seeing his friend play with everything.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “You know, she has her periapt now.” Asami’s voice answered over the screams making everyone giggle, you turned confused to her and she just smiled big.

Ignoring the small exchange, your eyes turned to the game again only for them to be met by the Otter Penguins’ captain being pushed over, making her trip. The whole row stood up screaming indignant at the other player and referee, you included. Korra was sent to the bench to compose herself and make sure she was alright, you took advantage to walk over to her.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “You okay, cap?” your voice made her heart skip a bit, while she took off her helmet and mouthguard to look over her shoulder to you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “All good, cutie.” she answered with a big smile, now that she was closer, Korra admired the way her jersey made you look. “You look extra beautiful tonight.”

Your cheeks began to burn, you smiled funnily her way. “You think? Borrowed this old thing, doesn’t it look good?”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “It does,” Korra’s voice sounded as if she was out of air, it definitely was because of you, but if you asked her at that moment she would say it was because of the match. “It makes your eyes pop, that Korra girl has to be fortunate to have you wear her jersey.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Oh, she is.” you continued her game, giggling. “She won’t find a better cheerleader than me.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Yeah, I can confirm that.” before you could continue, Korra’s name was called back on the ice, she started to put everything back. “Tonight’s win will be in your honor, cheerleader, so you better pray we do win. I don’t want to look dumb after this.”

Your laugh was now heard, Korra felt like she just recharged her energy after such small conversation. After putting everything back on, she winked your way and you sent her a playful kiss.

The last twenty minutes Korra played like her own life depended on that one win, every once in a while she shot glances at you only to be met by a very enthusiastic you screaming and holding hands with both Asami and Opal at your sides. The last minute began to count down and you were biting your lower lips with such nervousness that you were sure you’d hurt yourself.

The captain was dominating the field, she was making her so famous move while her own mind was praying to everything out there asking to score, the thunder made by her stick made everyone hold their breaths and just as the game finished, the disc hit right into the net. The whole side for the Otter Penguins erupted in screams and cheers, Korra herself felt such relief that her limbs relaxed just in time to be lift up by her teammates, in the public seats her friends were all hugging each other as if they were the once playing the match and winning it, you included of course. When the whole team went to the showers, Bolin suggested waiting for Korra outside of them; they, with a valid reason, took their time to get out since they were celebrating by themselves. Around forty minutes later, she came out to be met by five sets of arms hugging her to the point she feared to be suffocated, but just when she was about to scream at you all, everyone took a step back… Almost everyone, Bolin did take his time to let go.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Great game, Korra!” Mako exclaimed, smiling big and tapping his brother’s shoulder. “Bo, let her go, she needs her space.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I’m just so proud of her,” with a broken voice he answered. “I remember when I took her to practice and she was just a newbie.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Bolin,” in a warning tone, Korra called for him and he finally let go. “Thank you, guys, for coming to see me tonight… I really needed your support.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Ours? All of us?” Asami asked in a funny tone, Korra’s eyes shot fiercely to her.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Thanks for the seats and invitations!” Opal was quick to intervene with a big smile. “It was the best experience… Should we celebrate at our usual place, guys?”

Everyone opened their mouths to answer, but Korra was faster to talk. “Thanks, guys, but I think not tonight… How about we take all day tomorrow to celebrate? I’m free.”

Almost as if everyone shared a thought, a nod and affirmations words were said. The group started to say their goodbyes to each other and the captain to start going back home, you were one of the last that made the attempt to leave and were stopped by the southerner calling your name. You turned back around with a curious look.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Want to celebrate with me tonight?” She asked, you frowned a bit. Korra just said she wanted to go home, but when you saw the opportunity to be alone with her, a big smile painted your lips.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Sure, I don’t have anything better to do.” Korra herself smiled big too and rushed to your side to start walking to her place.

The walk was filled with you saying how amazing she played tonight, how it was fun to assist one of her games and how you expected to be invited to more. Korra was almost silent looking at you with such fond smile that made your face grow hotter with each minute passing by. In the way you had bought food to eat once both were at the captain’s home and so the dinner passed as it was nothing; now sitting by the couch, facing each other, you let your head rest on your arm while Korra was talking so enthusiastically about her sport. Own eyes examining the ice blue colored ones, that spark of excitement she had when she talked about her team or how much she loved hockey and the beautiful smile her lips formed when talking about her hobbies were so present, your mind started to wander around how they felt, were her lips soft? Warm? Were they sweet or did they have a spicy taste after eating the noodles you bought? Will she-.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Are you okay?” Korra called your attention, making you snap out of whatever trance you fell into. Embarrassed when you realize your eyes were fixated on Korra’s lips, you smiled and nodded.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I am, I’m sorry.” your own hand scrubbed your face. “I zoned out, you were talking and I zoned out, I’m sorry, I’m such a bad friend and-”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I love you.” Suddenly, Korra dropped the bomb when she saw how cute you looked all bashful, your words all vanished and wide eyes were looking at her now.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “You… What?” you asked back like you didn’t hear her the first time, but you needed a confirmation.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I love you.” She repeated without a problem. “I have loved you since… Pretty much the day we met, remember when you dropped your coffee on me? I one hundred percent started to love you since that-”

Now you didn’t let her finish, your impulses were stronger than your self control and your lips looked to hoard hers all to yourself meeting the answers to your own questions in a matter of seconds. Her lips were soft, sweets with specks of spice thanks to the food and they knew their way around your own lips as if they had already met before that day. Her tongue was inspecting your mouth without asking permission beforehand, but you didn’t mind at all.

Korra’s hands held your waist in such a hurry, making you lay completely on your back while she creeped on top of you. Your legs allowed her to accommodate between them, a small sigh made a sound on your chest and she smiled. When your lungs asked impatiently for air, you took the opportunity to attend the skin on her neck, savoring her with such delight and making small moans vibrate on her throat; wet kisses were making a trail on her, one of her hands snuck under your jersey to let her palm meet new territory and was met with your chest bear naked, you pulled away to look at her with a smile while her eyes were curious.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Didn’t feel like using a bra.” you justified yourself with a small and funny giggle, your own hands pulled over the shirt Korra was wearing at that moment and when you tried to take away your own jersey, she stopped you.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Leave it on, I want to see you all messed up in my jersey.” she explained, your heart skipped a beat to such command and of course you followed with obedience.

Now her lips were the ones claiming yours with desperation while her hands moved quickly to get rid of your pants. Cold hands were caressing against your warm skin making you moan under your breath, a familiar heat between your thighs grew thanks to the moves of the hockey player on top of you.

At first she planned to continue with the make out session, but almost as if she was hearing the most unhinged thoughts you were having about her, her lips began to leave wet kisses on the skin of your neck just like you did with her and such cold fingers were playing with the elastic of your underwear. Slowly she thrusted both digits into you to later on spread them apart with the same sluggishness she inserted them at first, excited heaven colored orbs were watching you moan under her body and move your hips against her hand, unconsciously asking for more from her. emmainmilan when she moved with her family to italy, it was all great until the passing of AH. she became a wrecking ball after that, she partied all night, skipped school, and did all sorts of nonsense. pierre and her got into many fights and it got to a point they didn’t talk anymore! she would come home black out drunk and she got into many fights in public too. her family kicked her out and she ended up staying with me. after that she dropped out of school and lived off the money in her trust fund.

OMG IM BACK. ANOTHER ONE SHOT HEHEHEH. Pumping these out like… idk things that get pumped out fast. (1119 words, sorry it’s so long again)

Scar was missing from the group, and Sausage was the first to notice. 

It was a nice morning. The sky was a soft pink fading into orange on the horizon and blue further up. Clouds floated lazily through the sky like fish in a river. The window in their bedroom was open, letting the faint smell of hyacinth and dewy grass waft into the bedroom.

Usually Sausage woke up slowly, relishing in the comfort of his boyfriend's arms as they greeted him good morning. This morning, though, he awoke all at once. He opened his eyes and shot up, slightly disturbing Martyn next to him. He groaned a little, and Sausage had to rub his arm a few times to get him back to sleep. They had figured out Martyn liked arm and back rubs early on, only because of all the stress he seemed to carry.

Sausage slowly started looking around, trying to figure out what was missing. All the furniture was in the right spots. Nothing was on fire, and he didn’t feel like he had lost a life. It wasn’t until he looked to his left that he realized why was wrong. Scar wasn’t in the bed with them. The chain that usually connected them was dragged along the floor and through the wall to the outside of the house.

Slowly, Sausage got out of the bed, making sure Martyn and Ren were still fast asleep, and crept downstairs. He needed to make sure Scar was ok, not being faced with leftover mobs or other players. He followed the chain slowly, through the small house they all shared together, and out to the front garden. Their house stood out from the rest of the forest; among green trees and flowers was a pseudo-steampunk build meant to be an assassin’s guild, or a bounty hunters home, whichever theme they had agreed on that day.

Sausage looked around for mobs before emerging. Creepers could be around any corner, especially at the crack of dawn, as could the spiders. When he deemed the coast clear, he wandered out. Sausage followed the shrinking chain, finding himself walking deeper and deeper into the woods. Stray leaves crunched under his feet, creating an ambient atmosphere to fill the quiet forest. Sausage though it was too quiet.

Then it wasn’t. He could hear talking up ahead, along one of the mountain cliffs. Slowly, he snuck up behind the figure (it was Scar, of course it was Scar) and hid behind a particularly thick tree. He could barely hear what he was saying, but he could all the same.

“…I don’t know, Jellie. I don’t feel wanted much.” His voice was raspy and low, like Scar had woken up not ten minutes ago. That was entirely plausible, Sausage reminded himself, he had barely woken up five minutes ago.

A small meaww came from the cat in Scar’s lap. He pet her head cautiously, letting his calloused hands run through her gray fur. He sighed, leaning back against the grass.

“I feel like I don’t have anybody this time around. Just another game where Scar gets no friends. ‘How’d the guy with no friends win?’ And all that.” He huffed. “I would go to Joel, but he has Scott this season, and Grian and… BigB are hanging out again. I don’t feel plenty wanted, you know.” Sausage could swear Scar was speaking right to him for a second before he kept talking. “They all have each other, and I don’t get anyone.” Another meeeooowww. “I guess I have you. Scar and Jellie against the world, hmm?”

The cliff was silent for a second, and Sausage spared a glance around the tree to catch a glance. Scar was laying down now, arms and legs spread out and a small gray fur ball on his stomach. He looked happy, or at least he would if he wasn’t wearing one of the most betrayed and depressed looks Sausage had ever seen on another person's face. He wanted to go over and console him then and there, but he supposed it was strange he was there to begin with. So he stayed. 

“Should I leave them? I don’t think I add anything to the team, anyway. They would be better off without me.” His hands had drifted up and he was petting the cat again. “Maybe I should just have Ren die twice so I’ll be red, then I can be set free from these stupid chains. I bet I could convince them.”

Jellie yawns, big to show off all her teeth, and Sausage is momentarily scared of her.

“I just- I’m not sure. I just want to feel needed, not just like someone who’s tagging along. I want them to see me as something.”

He did see Scar as something! But… maybe he didn’t act that way. He thought about how much time he had been spending with Ren and Martyn lately. How much time they had all spent together neglecting the fourth member of their team, someone who had noticed before any of them that he was an outcast among them all. The thought of Scar watching them have fun together, laughing and joking, while he stood off from the group seemed to be more prevalent in memories than he wanted it to be.

“…leaving,” Scar said. Sausage tunned back in, worried he had missed something. “I have enough food, and there’s a nice spot down the brook. I won’t be too separated from them, and if they really wanted, they could track me down.”

Sausage felt his stomach tighter. Scar was planning on living away from them, so he would feel less alone. At least he would have Jellie, right?

He made his way back to the house after he discovered that, not wanting to be caught by the self-proclaimed outcast. When he got back, he saw Rem was up and making breakfast for them.

“Hey dude,” Ren greeted, grinning with large teeth. He had never been one for pet names, opting for ‘dude’ instead. “Where’s Scar?”

Sausage buried his head in Ren's shoulder and shook his head. “Left. Left us.”

That night, when Scar stumbled into his makeshift hut with meat for Jellie, he was met with a gift. A purple flower, and a small card.

I’m sorry, Scar.

Scar picked up the hyacinth and smiled to himself. He put it in the glass cups he kept around, for things just like this. The note was put under the glass, as a reminder he had not forgiven the others quite yet. At least one of them had cared enough to apologize. At least one of them still cared about him, if not just a little.

Two more little things heh. One, you know why I used hyacinth?? Because in Greek Mythology, Apollo kills his gay lover and crates a flower in his image to pray for forgiveness. The flower means forgiveness, and I also thought the vibes were there lmao.

Omg I don't know if you remember this but I came into your inbox a few months ago to tell you I was watching Lost via my favorite Youtuber's recaps and he just dropped the season 2 one a few days ago: first of all, how on EARTH did you keep up with this insane plot like I am sooooo shaken and shattered by the sheer mystery of it all????? when lost was airing my passtime was literally rewatching episodes multiple times during the week to try and connect dots/develop theories about what was happening. i had a notebook and i would rewatch every episode two or three times before the next one aired, and write down notes kjldsfjkdskd but i can tell you something, it did not save me from being shook AT ALL, the plot twists hit me just as hard anyway 😂 i've never been very good at puzzling out mysteries on tv shows so as much theorising as i did, i was still able to be completely surprised by every single reveal, which i really liked!! also because i'm in australia, the episodes would air here like 6 months after the US for the first few seasons, so i would only talk about it with irl people (this was all pre twitter etc so it was v easy to avoid spoilers online, you simply didn't google the show!) but then once the season was over there was a lost forum that i would go on and i'd catch up on everyone's theories over the season, and spend the break between seasons talking to people and sharing ideas/thoughts about the end-of-season cliffhanger, i honestly miss that lol

anyway, a big recap of my victoria bc trip

got up at 6:50 am ish and then headed out at 7:20 took the train and bus to the ferry terminal and then headed to victoria yay, lined up for a a breakfast meal for the ~experience~ and that pretty much took up most of the time. Arrived and took the bus to the royal bc museum, almost missed my bus due to it being full but someone pointed to the huge line to go take the other bus, got lucky there.

The Royal BC Museum was cool, though there wasn't much to it cause there were no feature exhibit at that time and one part of the museum was under reno, but it was still fun nonetheless!! I didn't realize how dark it was so honestly I was a lil spooked at times esp cause I was alone haha. Since it was a very nice day I went down to the Fisherman's Wharf cause I wouldn't have time on saturday and i heard the weather wasn't gonna be good on sunday. Most of the shops were closed for the season LMAOO so there wasn't much to see, but thankfully there was 1 fish n chips shop open and i bought some yum yum, it was very filling. Walked back to downtown and went through the Miniature World museum and it was super cute!!! It was also a lil spoopy for parts of it cause there were portions of it where it was dark and there weren't many people going through it.

Headed to the airbnb around 5 ish, and then chilled for a bit. Was wanting to order dinner but the place I wanted to order to was too busy at that time to take in takeout orders so i had to schedule it at 8 sobs but thats okay cause i was still full from the fish n chips, so i just chilled and tried to nap. The dinner was kinda mid ngl, wish i got the lasagna but i was like "but i can get lasagna anywhere else" it was okay but still LOL. also splurged and bought a cheesecake as well, that was pretty good though. couldn't finish it so i saved half of it for tomorrow's dinner.

The next day was con day!! I was supposed to go to a brunch place but i slept in a little and then when i got there, the line was pretty long and i didnt want to wait so im like eh okay nvm ima just go back home and eat the breadsticks i didn't eat yesterday LOL as well as the creme brulee given by the airbnb host they're so nice. And then I made my way to the con and omg it was a lot of walking lol. Got in and hung around mainly in the artist alley!! I was supposed to go watch the cosplay contest but i lost track of time and missed it LMAO OOPS. I spent waaay more than I thought I would, but very happy with my purchases and wish i bought more haha but my backpack literally would have no room for it. I spent the remaining time at my friends table til like 6:30 and made a new friend that was tabling with her, she was super kind and fun

Got home and picked up dinner on the way, ordered a mixed kebab meal set and it was so good and the portion was huge, very worth it and very delicious. Spent the rest of the night eating and showering and watching youtube and packed a little bit before leaving tomorrow.

Woke up the next day, final day, it was damn pouring in the morning sadly, so I just stayed in the airbnb until 10:50 and then made my way to explore the Chinatown (which I found out is the second oldest Chinatown in North America???? damn). Went to the little Chinatown museum and saw some cool stuff and then walked around the area and the shops nearby. Went to Boardwalk Burgers and chilled until it was time to catch the bus to the ferry.

I arrived hella early cause if I didn't take the bus I took, i would have been late to my ferry;;; BUT MY FERRY GOT DELAYED. So I just spent a lot of time sitting at the waiting area playing my 3DS LOL Made some progress in AA5 again finally, i haven't played it in sooo long ( i really should finish it, as well as spirit of justice, and i still have the great chronicles to play;;) Got on the ferry and played some more AA5 and holy cow the line for the cafeteria was so long im glad i didn't decide to eat dinner there cause I was originally gonna but thank god i didnt. Napped a lil before arriving at the bay aaaand then went home :)

Overall, very nice trip!! Even though I was alone, I had a blast exploring and seeing things and got to take my time to explore shops and whatever I wanted. I had no budget planned going into this and I probably should have cause I spent... quite a lot, but oop.

My thing with these episodes is I don’t care if Roberto goes for Chloe. I don’t care if Elliot likes me I’d rather he leave me alone ofc. I JUST WANT OZZY. And we know he’s paying attention to us still, he was admiring us for figuring the clues out and obviously where he calls us girlfriend material and such. And grace is full on delusion now like I like Grace but girl please you are in fulll denial you admit you think he might be into someone else. We tell you it’s us. And you still think he’s your boy. Like him choosing her tonight was the best case scenario and that happened and I’m also glad when he talks about her it’s very very platonic. BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE SHOWN HIS ANGRY FACE FOR THE JEALOUSY MOMENT!!!

The things I do for the slowburn routes. But also like I get rep is good but the pride flag bathing suit is just so ugly and so is this dragon fly dress! Why do they spend so much time on the npcs and leave us with the dumpster fire trash outfits AND locking us out of body types skin tones and hair colors other islanders have?? Why can’t I have dark brown hair. 😒

The dragon fly outfit would be better if you remove the sequins, the jewel in the bust and the dragon fly patters. Make it a flowy white sheer fabric with silver and gold accents.

Just throw the whole wardrobe out. I miss s2 MC and s4 MC outfits.

Also AMELIA!! Just tell us you fucked us over at prom with Zeph. If they really write it out like Zeph and Amelia had mutual feelings I WILL ignore it. In my rewrite of the season I will throw that out the window. I love to see Amelia be the real villain. It’s just fun.

Anyways I’m excited for next volume 💀💀

anyway so today like at 12 the fam scheduled a zoom meeting so i can talk to everyone to try and see whats going on yk and there was this big argument between my mom and my oldest bro and now everything is so tense and stuff... BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE my exams are done and now i can focus on more things other than math and econ (regretting my major choices HARD rn)

hoo okay I can already tell this is gonna be long but manga thoughts!! i only read up to roughly 150 I think (Also hi hi I’m off anon! anxiety has been overcome >D<)

quick lil context of me even getting into this also! so my roomie and I have a tradition of watching really bad animes during finals weeks and this time my rookie suggested we watched black butler 2 (still so funny it’s just 2 not season two not book of ___ no. just two. Peak comedy) first half of that was laughably bad and then like ep 7 onward it was frustratingly good. Some bizarre pacing some bizzare writing choices but I liked it overall. anyways over winter break out of nowhere I got manga spoilers on my tiktok for Agni’s death and. It emotionally devastated me bc I loved him sm bc of the like one ep in 2 where he appeared. i told my roomie that and we decided to like actually watch the good parts of the anime so I could get a taste of the actual plot (and eventually we watched s1 lmao)

so yeah that bit didn’t impact me as much when I actually read it but 😭 Agni I miss you dearly you’re like one of the only people I’d trust to hold my drink in this series I KNOW you would take care of it and not spill anything. Also, I read the entire (post campania) manga while procrastinating studying for my organic chemistry exam bc chemistry is a pain in the ass and I didn’t want to look at it

right um. Other arcs. so the school arc has some BIZARRE pacing- (and i never got used to the just casually dropping the F word even if it was used iba like historical context) I was half skimming some of the pages bc I thought it was gonna be basically a fluff filler arc so that end caught me off guard- deffo enjoyed the soma content though! i sure hope he stays happy and nothing awful happens to make him stop smiling! hahah fuck.

Emerald witch arc is kinda funny to me. like yeah, okay queen of England, send this 13 (14?? I forgor) year old child to a different country to deal with werewolves. this isn’t even ur country girly what. Wolf and miss sullivan (can’t spell her first name) r fun characters I like their addition a lot. Could’ve done without the uh. weird scenes with sullivan but. whatever. (The scenes with finny taking care of ciel also were so sweet Omg I will cry- finny is probably one of my top 5 charas I love himmmmm he scares me tho )

that being said I fuckcking RECOGNIZED that shit was chemicals as soon as I saw that circle thing oh my FuckKING GOD. I literally put down my phone and stopped reading for a good while. here we are. the 2024 season is officially starting‼️‼️‼️💥💥💥 and so is my first ever full f1 season 🥺🥺🥺💘💘💘 i mean tbf i did follow f1 already at the first 2 races in 23 but still!!! i didn't watch them!!! and now i will!!! oh my god!!!

so, my goal for this year is to be less stressed, bc honestly, it was really getting to me 💔💔💔 and i don't want to rely on a dutch guy winning in a sport for all of my happiness... i would like to enjoy the sport more, even if max doesn't win (which... will happen eventually. i am writing this before the race idek if he wins this one!! he might not!!) ‼️‼️‼️🥰🥰🥰 so: enjoy the SPORT more, which is important i think 💘💘💘✨✨🌷🌷🌷 we will see how it goes!! but this was a very important life lesson for me: i will still love max, even if he loses. him losing doesn't make me love him any less 🥺🥺🥺🥺

“What?” Leota called after you as you dashed further into the clothing section of the store.

When she caught up with you, you spun around with an excited flourish as you held up a black tee shirt. It had Vigilante’s signature chevron pattern printed on the chest. 

“Do you think Adrian gets a cut of the sales?” 

She laughed as you put the shirt back on the rack and grabbed one in your size. 

“How? They can’t just send a check to “Vigilante”. It would be cool though, maybe he'd be able to quit his job.”

You snorted out a laugh and dropped the shirt in your basket. “Can you imagine Vig as a full time crime fighter? You thought he was wanted on multiple counts of murder before?” 

“You’re right. Fennel Fields keeps him humble. I can’t believe you’re actually buying that.”

“I don’t know how, or when, but one day it’ll come in handy.”

She laughed and moved onto the next section of the store.

That was a couple of months ago. “Summer of Super Heroes” the store called their little promotion. There had been clothes based on other heroes, of course. Mostly Batman and Superman, but locations with local heroes also got merchandise based on them. Peacemaker and Vigilante had been hailed as heroes after the whole Butterfly incident, so they also had merchandise. It wasn’t much, it looked like you missed all of the Peacemaker merchandise, but you were lucky enough to snag a Vigilante shirt before it sold out.

Now Halloween was approaching and the Adebayo’s were hosting a party in which they were requesting no scary costumes. 

“I can’t believe I can’t go as Leatherface!” Adrian complained while you stitched him up from his latest recklessness. 

It hadn’t been an official ARGUS mission, but you had a major soft spot for the vigilante, so you gave him a standing offer to help him out whenever he needed, and he needed help often. According to him, even your band-aids were somehow even better than his! 

“I was gonna bring a chainsaw and everything! It’s not fair! I can’t even use a chainsaw on pretend bad guys!”

You finished up, double checking your work just for the chance to subtly run your fingers across his incredibly chiseled abs. “I don’t think there are going to be many pretend bad guys anyways, V.” You started and pulled your hands away from his warmth and removed your gloves. “Remember Adebayo suggested that we come as our hero or something.”

"That's so lame!"

You started to tidy up your med kit while he tossed a shirt on. “Hmm.”

“What?” He asked once his head popped through his shirt.

“Nothing, really. I just thought you’d be jumping at the chance to dress up as Peacemaker.” 

He loudly gasped and his eyes went wide.”You’re right! It’s not lame!” But just as quickly as he had changed his mind, he returned to pouting. “But, where am I going to get a Peacemaker shirt in time?!” 

“Just buy a red shirt.” 

“But it’s gotta have the dove of Peace on it!”

“Paint it on?”

“It won’t look good if I do it!” He huffed, “can you do it?”

“Hmm, probably not well.” You conceded. 

He whined and pouted again, so you continued to spin ideas for him. You couldn’t have your favorite boy feeling all sad, no matter how cute he looked.

“Doesn’t Chris have multiples of that shirt? Just use one of those?”

He looked at you dubiously. “I know you think I’m big and muscly,” he was, “but P’s shirts won’t fit me! It’ll look stupid if it’s all baggy!” 

“Okay. Tell you what, if you can get one of his shirts, I can do a bit of tailoring and bring it in for you.”

“Really?” He gasped and leaned forward on the desk he was sitting on.

“Yea. I’ll even let it back out after the party so he doesn't get mad at you for ruining one of his shirts.”

“You can do that?”

“Pretty easy, actually.” You nodded.

“You’re so cool!” He hopped off the desk and pulled you up into a big hug. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” He rocked you from side to side as he continued to hug you. 

“Calm down, Vig!” You winced from how loud he was.

He dropped you with an apology and a wide smile gracing his lips, then helped you clean and lock up before leaving Henenlotter in a rush, presumably to borrow one of Peacemaker’s shirts.

The next day he texted you saying that he got a hold of one of Peacemaker’s shirts and he was going to drop it off at your place. It was later than you expected when he actually showed up, but considering he was wearing his Fennel Fields uniform, you guessed he just got off of work.

“Hey,” he greeted as you let him in. “Can I change here?” He motioned to the duffel bag in his hands, one you’d seen many times before and knew to contain his Vigilante suit.

“Sure.” You took the Peacemaker shirt from him and tossed it on the back of your couch. Then you grabbed the measuring tape you set out for when he got there. “But before you put your Vigilante suit on, let me take some measurements.” 

“Ok!” He said cheerily, but he walked away towards your bathroom.

“Oh…no.” you blinked, “I meant…” well he was already in the bathroom…

Sure enough, a minute later he returned to the living room in nothing but his tactical pants and socks. Not that you were going to complain.

It surprised you (not for the first time) how soft his skin was. Usually when you patched him up, you wore gloves, robbing you of the feeling of his skin. But now, as you took his measurements, you were reminded of just how soft his skin was. So few scars actually covered his body, despite how often he got hurt. You’d only been around the team for a few months, a more than welcome field medic, and by all accounts, he should have way more scars, but even the wound you stitched up last night was nothing but a light pink blemish that was sure to fade completely rather soon. 

“Do you have a costume yet?” He asked once you let him go. He sat down on the couch and started to slip on the rest of his suit.

“Uhm, not really.” You half lied. You had an idea, and you were pretty certain you could get all the components for the costume from your existing wardrobe. 

“Oh! If you want, I can borrow another shirt from Peacemaker and we can match!” 

His smile was so cute that you almost felt bad for shooting him down. But there was no way you were going to wear a Peacemaker costume! “No thanks, I’ll think of something before the party.” 

“Aww! How awesome would it be if we were both Peacemaker though?” 

 You chuckled and steeled your nerves. Honestly, if he kept that up you might just give in. “Maybe we can wear matching costumes next year?”

You were running a little late to the party. A quick text to Adebayo meant that no one was worried, though Adrian kept texting you updates on the party and sent a few pictures as well. (You may have saved the selfies that he sent. He just looked so happy and so good that it was hard to resist!) 

The party was in full swing by the time you arrived. It wasn’t just the 11th Street Kids, but some of Keeya’s friends and coworkers as well as some of their neighbors. So it was a bit hectic when Leota answered the door. She was balancing a bowl of candy in one arm and a dog in a doctor costume in the other.

“Hey! Happy Halloween! Come on in!” 

You followed her in with an enthusiastic greeting. 

The dog in her arms started to squirm so she motioned to a room off the side of the entryway. “You can put your coat and hat down in there.” 

“Alright.” You didn’t bother to correct her, that the plain black baseball cap that you wore was part of your costume, as you headed for the room she pointed to.

Before you even opened the door, you heard your name yelled from across the party.

Adrian had spotted you walking in, in fact he’d been eagerly checking his phone for a text from you and watching the door every time the doorbell rang. He quickly caught up with you as you entered what you assumed was a small guest bedroom, if the twin bed tucked in the corner and piled with coats was anything to go by. 

He started to excitedly tell you how everyone, even Peacemaker,  said his costume looked so good. And that because of your tailoring Peacemaker hadn’t even noticed that he borrowed a shirt from him in the first place!

“Wait, you didn’t even tell him you were borrowing his shirt? Adrian, isn’t that stealing?” You teased him as you dropped your coat with the others on the bed. 

“No! It’s not technically stealing because…” he stopped talking as he took in your costume.

Once you had the Vigilante shirt, it was easy to put together a Vigilante costume, as you already owned tactical pants and combat boots. 

You raised a brow at his sudden silence. “Adrian?”

“...Holy shit. You’re dressed as me?” 

“Yea!” You smiled, then pulled up the black neck gaiter you were wearing and popped on a pair of red sunglasses. “What do you think?” 

“...You’re dressed as me.” 

You blinked and started to get a little concerned that he was repeating himself. “Yea..? Not enough? Too much?”

You looked down at your costume before looking back up at him. “Yea dude, I got that. We had a whole conversation about it while I was giving you stitches, remember?”

He gave a little frustrated growl, like you weren’t understanding him, and scrunched up his face. “But you’re supposed to dress up as your hero! And you’re dressed up as me!” 

You took off your sunglasses and pulled the mask down so he could see your face clearly. “Adrian, Vigilante has saved me at least a dozen times, if not more! You saved me. So of course you’re my hero.” 

He swallowed, “o-oh…”

You broke the slightly awkward silence that followed with a quiet cough. “But if you want me to change or something, I’m sure Leota has some-”

“No! No. I just, uhmmm…” Adrian was looking up as he tried to think of something, anything, to say. His blush no longer stained his cheeks because of frustration, but you had just called him your hero. 

“I look that good, huh?” You giggled a little nervously as you copied the Peacemaker hero pose (that you’re pretty sure he just made up) that he kept doing in the pictures he sent you. 

That seemed to snap him out of his stupor and he grinned at you. “Well you are dressed as the second coolest hero!”

“What? I’m totally dressed up as the first coolest hero!” 

He blushed even more, even the tips of his ears were turning pink, and looked down at his feet.

“Which makes what I’m about to do a little weird.” You finished and flipped your hat backwards.

He looked up and tilted his head in that cute way he always did when he was confused. “What are you about to do?” “This.” You quickly kissed him, just a little peck of the lips. 

You meant to kiss him and dash off to the party to deal with however he felt about you kissing him later, but he quickly grabbed your hips and pulled you close to him. 

He dropped his forehead to yours, his nose lightly bumping against yours and he grinned. “Eat peace, motherfucker.” 

You snorted out a laugh, unable to control your chuckling until he kissed you. He was smiling against your lips, laughing with you even as he nipped at your bottom lip. 

“Nu-uh! You guys are not having sex in here!” Leota yelled as she stood in the doorway pointing at the two of you.

You and Adrian jumped apart slightly, but he managed to keep one hand on your back, as you looked at Leota in surprise, neither of you heard her open the door.

“We weren’t going to have sex!” You protested her assumption.

“We weren’t?” 

You coughed quietly and looked at him. “Well, not here, anyways!” 

Which meant that you were open to have sex with him anywhere else! “Awesome!” 

Leota eyed you, though you could see the amusement in her eyes, and ushered you out of the room.

You weren’t sure what was sweeter, the candy you kept munching on, or how closely Adrian was glued to your side for the rest of the night.

lara got out of her seat and walked back to her new alphine pr team

“lara we have a group interview with all the grid in about 10 mins”

she said as she picked up the phone to call her best friend,linda.linda’s been there since lara first started karting at the very late age of 14.

“brooo hiii how did it goo” said linda the moment she picked up

“i didn’t even do it yet” said lara with a slight laugh

“oh you got my hopes up,thought you’d call me with good news”

“bro i’m just shit nervous”

“don’t be your the most strong willed one on the grid so you’ll be okay”

they closed and lara rushed back to the team so they could get there in time

the moment she walked in all eyes were on her,she felt so worried but knew that she had to keep her head up.

“hi hi hi um im so excited to be here and i’m so ready to crush everyone”she said with the biggest smile”sorry y’all but uh anyways ya i’m so excited and truly am so grateful for this chance to be here with the big dogs”

“so lara your not only the first female f1 racer but also first arab f1 racer how do you feel about that?”

“i ofc feel like so like omg i can’t even explain it”she said as she smiled even more “i feel like one i accomplished something no one before me could and two i’m so happy that someone finally did so it opens doors to the others like me to accomplish this dream”

“we’ll the rest of the drivers how do you feel about a female being on the grid this session?”

vettel the first to speak says “i’m so happy for her and truly feel like this is a great opportunity to all other females to keep on trying” he said as he looked at her with an approving grin

next came lewis “i feel like it should’ve happened sooner, but as they say sooner better than later”he said with a smile

esteban says shortly after “i’m so very excited to have her as a team mate she is a huge talent in the sport and i’m excited to see what comes from our friendship” he says as you both start laughing

“i also wanna say that i watched someoof her races when i first heard the news and i feel like we’re all up for a big challenge since she’s such an amazing and talented driver”she looked over her shoulder to see that the words came out the famous honey badger, she smiled and thanked them all and they all smiled yet daniels smile caught her eye and made her heart flush.

the interviewer asked the rest of the grip some questions and finally said “well that’s all thank you all and good luck”

they all got out of there seats, lara started to walk away when a young british boy came up to her

“hi i’m lando, so i wanted to tell you were having a start of the session party tonight and we all want you to come”

“oh thank you i’d love to come lando”she said nicely

“great! here’s the address come at uhhhhh hmmm oh right 8 and wear your party attire” lara and lando both laughing at how forgetful he is

“i will don’t worry” she said as she walked away

that went surprisingly well, she thought as she continued to walk

he picked this one up off the dangerous streets a few years ago and he's been sticking with phil ever since

his wings are small- not too small to fly, but they're untrained to the point where it would take a lot or work to get him off the ground

but at first, he didn't really seem to want to learn all that much?

(he has three scars on his face- all from trying to learn how to fly when he was younger)

(he gave up after the third one)

("if at first you don't succeed; try, try again" is his motto, and he tried all three times)

but!! phil and wilbur are very persuasive :) and now that he knows he can fly, he's not going to rest until he does

he's a little manipulative to get what he wants sometimes, but can you blame someone that lived on the street for so long?

he had to do that to survive! it's not his fault.

he's an experiment

the reason we haven't seen him yet? he's staying away from the main area of the smp

he doesn't want to ruin its natural beauty with his withering effect, so he keeps to himself on the outskirts of the smp

withers get health from killing things

he's not fully a wither, so he gets energy from being around people and sort of draining their life force a little bit

he feels terrible when he's with just one person because they are Literally his life support and it makes the person feel like shit

when he's with a big group of people its great!! he only has to take a little bit from everyone and its barely noticable!!

but then there's the wither part. so he has to stay away.

he's always tired

always exhausted

he's a farmer, so taking it from animals works, but god does he miss people

but he can only visit a few times and for very short

(he's afraid that one of these days he'll get so bad that the next time he sees someone he'll accidentally kill them)

(it already happened once. he's blessed that he's been forgiven, even made friends with by the victims, but he doubts he'll be able to pull that off again with no consequences like last time)

wilbur

phantlings are dead elytrians, and given that wilbur was phil's son...he's a phantling

he died in the late 50s and was a librarian when he was alive, so he's very possessive (ha) over all of his things

you should never ask to "borrow" anything from him, he will hound you about it until you give it back

it's best to just say that you want something from him to keep

even if youre going to give it back

just for your own peace of mind

phantlings can feel fear and get a genuine feeling of elation from scaring people

of course, sometimes its unwelcome (feeling large amounts of fear from someone they care about in a bad way just makes them pissed)

but for the most part, wilbur loves appearing in the corner of people's visions just to jumpscare them a few minutes later

all in good fun, of course!! it's just hilarious :)

being the lighthearted, fun guy he is, he's not particularly secretive about his method of death

truth be told, the enderdragon isn't a very nice dragon

nor is she a very kind queen

nor was the other queen

nor was her son

there was a mutiny in the end, leading to the dragon queen and her wife being killed brutally by the crowd of angered people

they went after their son next, who had ordered executions and worked servants to the bone just as much as they had

they cut off his wings in the middle of the square

he was sure he was going to die until a random person (a peasant) jumped up and yelled at them for publicly torturing a child

but ranboo didn't really catch all of it, given he was delirious from pain

he got to get some stuff quickly and escape with his life

this wasn't too long ago, either, so he's still trying to...adjust...to people talking rudely to him

(he's also trying to adjust to not having wings)

(hence why he hurls himself off the edges of cliffs and then has to teleport to the bottom instead of glide. he keeps forgetting.)
