What is your favorite part of the Anakin/Din dynamic?

the fact that if anakin tries ANY of the stupid shit he pulls with obi-wan on din, din will hog tie him to a boulder and drop him from the airlock while in hyperspace. what’s not to love.

#more seriously: din has firm boundaries that would piss anakin off;#din is not here for the foolishness whatsoever and in fact ignores anakin which just makes anakin act up more; however at key moments din #and anakin see eye to eye re: doing something violent and dangerous instead of prolonged negotiations #because i see din as being somewhere between anakin and obi-wan. he’s reasonable and efficient but he will also shoot you in the face and #not feel bad about it for a second. he is soft for GROGU and for the innocent.#he cares about his brothers and sisters in arms and the communities that take him in.#he is compassionate but he’s morally gray. so where obi-wan is like No Anakin we can’t just break peoples brains with the Force!#din is like ‘hey why don’t you torture this guys brain while I punch him so he tells us what I need to know’ bc it’s efficient #they see eye to eye on the usefulness of violence AND the importance of Protecting Their Own. revenge is not beyond Din either #he is both rational AND appeals to the parts of Anakin that Obi-wan tries to temper #basically I think they can make each other worse (and maybe a little better) but mostly the first part #they’re funny and i want them to fight while obi-wan drinks his headache away. that’s it. also we all know anakin loves older men #so that’s fun too #walkie talkie.#answered.
