If there's one thing I've learned at Dog Job it's that all the classically "scary" dog breeds are pretty much all Big Dumb Babies. Rottweilers? Big dumb babies. Dobermans? Big dumb babies. Pit bulls? Perhaps the MOST dumb and MOST baby. What you must understand about every dog breed is that there is yet to be one that doesn't have at least one member that gets so so sad if you don't give them lil ear scratches every 10 seconds
#this is NOT a post about like. peoples specific fear/discomfort with dogs!!!#theres lots of reasons and individual can just. Not be a dog person#this is more about general populace perception that specific breeds get labelled as like#inherently 'bad' dogs#which is dumb. individual dogs have individual personalities#and how a person raises/trains them is more important than breed#THOUGH certain breeds do have certain tendencies theyre all still. dogs. you know?#like yes some breeds are Job Dogs but im sure there are lazy as hell border collies that dont herd for shit you know?#a breed is a general category. theres a lot of diversity of personality and temperment even within a breed#and also theres no breed of dog immune to being a Big Dumb Baby
