final nanowrimo wrapup post btw!!

i was hoping to make 75k this year but ended up flaking out the past couple of days b/c of migraines, but redo still managed to scrape by as my longest nano ever (about a hundred words up on psd) :’) i firmly believe that the amount of plot covered here should only amount to ~35-40k at the absolute most, though, and i’m really looking forward to trimming it down in the first round of editing. but i’m also really looking forward to continuing into next month, partly because i didn’t make it to any of the 3 stopping points i was aiming for (the actual end of the first arc, the end of the court scene, or the argument at the town) but also partly because i’ve been having so much fun writing this!

#nano tag #txt #i would say this is the best novel since 2018 but my prose has actually been SO bad lol #and the structure isn't even very compelling either it's just that i've been having Fun Writing Scenes and that's enough for me<3 #extremely embarrassing scenes all the way down to be clear. but that is the nature of Romance Novel #december is worldbuilding month though so i'm also looking forward to putting some time into rethinking a bunch of aspects of scverse #and also the structure of cots... many redacted evil thoughts on that lately that i wanna try to follow through on lol #and then hopefully start in on cots draft 2 in january it's been too long ೕ(•̀ᴗ•́)
