hello friends ( ᵘ ᵕ ᵘ ⁎)!! i stitched together all of jww’s mixtape parts to create a voice reference for rizo! you can read my (very messy) thoughts about his rap style & artistry under the cut!

rap style

on alien’s discography, insoo’s raps are clean & cold & very precise

in his bio, i mentioned that tongue twisters helped him during speech therapy; he’s learned to speak long strings of sentences very fast, so

with practice, he can rap about ~16 syllables per second now

( basically zelo’s lte rap in warrior & power )

it’s the skill that people are most impressed by, but insoo wants to be known for more than just recitation ;;;;

he prob has the deepest voice in alien, but don’t quote me on that

he gets that idol rappers are looked down upon, so he’s working extra hard to make sure he’s not reduced to just a Voice or some guy who reads off lines

been working with a variety of rappers to try to secure his own Style™

and naturally, so far, it’s very melodic & lazy

but it picks up momentum rLY FAST

sometimes his mentors need to remind him to sLOW DOWN because he’s spittin bars but nobody knows what he’s even saying

a lot of the time, he likes to half-sing some of his lines (like his part in coffee shop!) but he doesn’t get to do that super often

edit: he does this in honeymoon too, what a time 2 be alive

also hh pls don’t ask him to freestyle, he cANNOT

he slaves over writing rly intricate metaphors & double entendres & sometimes accidentally makes a bad pun (or fIVE)

mostly writes about writing. success. childhood.

when he writes about love, it’s a disaster.

but yea, whenever another rapper compliments him on his flow, he get blushy. bonus points if they use the word ‘fresh’, he love that

and honestly, i was largely inspired by punchnello’s green horizon for this, so pls go give that lil guy a listen

i wrote about insoo posting tracks on his soundcloud during the alien lawsuit and-- the account is still very active!

it’s sort of a graveyard of unfinished works (beats, bars)

but yea, ya bb neptune is a fledgling producer :’)

the genres he likes to dabble in are hip hop, r&b, and edm

he can’t rly write the hard/intense stuff that his group is known for, so i guess it’s kind of jarring for new fans??

if u wanna get a feel for what it’d sound like, i get rizo vibes from punchnello’s sd also

if ya boi insoo was more Ambitious, i’d be tryna claim punch’s entire discog for him, but surprise, surprise he ain’t ever gonna promote solo lmao )

i have his musical influences listed under his profile, but the ones in-game are celine, element, origin, sian, yuddy, & his fav babes 7trophy!

also i’ve been thinking a lot about fanxy child & how it’d be cool to have a collective / khh crew here, so????
