she was only a party princess for like an hour but that shit was traumatizing
#no not because of Sam. I mean obvs she made her day so much worse but#it was more about the overall situation#first of all her creepy ass boss and how he told her to go for ‘tips’#and s*xualized her#the implications about how the adult men were interacting with the girls#which is twofold bc her coworkers left her to be the only one dealing with the kids as they chatted up the men around#and also implies that they were probably equally as inappropriate with Tory bc of how that was encouraged#like so much of this scene is pure subtext and background details but the way it’s all presented is terrifying tbh#they framed it like s*x work??? the vibes were so fucking weird man#like it should have been a fun and innocent job right but it was presented in a way that was SO shady#and we can see how uncomfortable Tory was the whole time#yeah she’s still not over it :(#can’t even watch the Little Mermaid anymore without being reminded of it RIP
