Is it normal to constantly have delayed reactions? When something happens and I just feel nothing, except other people's reactions - I react to these, to their feelings, but the main event itself hits me much later and sometimes I don't even realize that I'm sad/anxious/etc because of such and such a thing happened.
#things are slightly askew timewise#a bit off#once in a bus the driver suddenly hit the brakes and of course everyone immediately went flying (not literally. except one or two)#and i just looked at all this spectacle and thought that it wasn't that bad. i didn't jolt at all. and then a few seconds after#i did but gently#and it was so weird. others truly got hurt and scared#and also emotionally. when someone dies/gets hurt/etc. i am just completely ok. i tear up when i read/see other people reactions#but i feel actual genuine sadness or fear or whatever much later
