I like to think that Floyd, though he pesters Riddle and annoys the life out of her, would vaguely and briefly confide in her and ask what sorts of things girls like. Riddle puts two and two together and figures out rather fast that he's trying to make it up to you. Obviously she can't let that happen. She just started wedging herself between you and Floyd, making you question your feelings for him, and now he's trying to be better? He had four years to do that! She's so annoyed. >:(

Spending Valentine's Day with him

Cater, of course, is more than familiar with Valentine's Day. He's always up to date with the latest trends and on this day, Valentine's Day is trending on Magicam. Every year, Cater participates in this holiday even though he didn't have a crush on anyone for the past few years. He at least always posts some themed photos and sends chocolates to his friends. Sometimes he also does little events on his Magicam page where he prompts people to ask him Valentine's Day related questions or post their own stories they've had with this day and he'll comment on it.

But this year was different.

Having fallen for you quite a few months ago, Valentine's Day was the perfect opportunity to finally ask you out on a date. Cater knew so too but Trey was the one who had to convince him. "You're always so flirty with them, why don't you ask them out already?", Trey smiled and shook his head in confusion. "Well, that's different...", Cater replied awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head. "How exactly is that different?", Trey chuckled and proceeded making a Valentine's Day cake for the Heartslabyul dorm.

Indeed, Cater had flirted with you quite a few times but given his usual demeanor, there was no reason for you to suspect this wasn't just what he was like in general.

Cater eventually asks you out with a box of chocolate from Sam's store. He's happy when you say yes and the two of you agree to go to the cinema together.

Cater buys the two of you colorful drinks and a box of nachos. He takes a picture of the food and asks you if you'd like to take a photo with him as well, which he'd post on Magicam with the caption "Spending today with my valentine ❤️ #cinemadate #valentinesday #nightravencollege ❤️" if you let him. He'd tag you in the picture as well. Cater loves to take pictures but there's a couple of them that's just you two laughing together and having fun and he decides that even though they'd probably get a lot of likes, they're special to him and he just keeps them on his phone to remember this day with you fondly.

He originally intends to take you to a romance movie and bought tickets for it....but life had other plans for you.

"This uh....this doesn't look like the movie we asked to watch", Cater sunk back into the seat and had to be careful not to drop his 3D glasses when the horrifying forest creature from the screen seemed to charge directly at him. You fished the movie tickets out of your pockets. "Uh yeah I think the employee mixed something up...we have tickets for something called 'The Unspeakable Horrors'", you explained before looking back at the screen. "Oh god I don't like or subscribe to this", Cater lets out a slightly distressed sigh. He wondered whether it was too late to watch the other movie and get the actual tickets he wanted but you taking his hand in yours when he seemed scared changed his mind. Maybe watching the unspeakable horrors was indeed a way to get closer to you.

"I'm going to have vivid nightmares of this for days to come", Cater chuckled awkwardly as the two of you left the cinema, still holding hands. "Maybe I can help with that", you chuckled and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.

Cater asks you to be his significant other after your date. He explains how he had a crush on you for a while now and how all the attempts he had made at flirting with you were actually genuine. "Oh yeah I knew", you smirked and pulled him into a hug, "and yes... I'd love to be your valentine every day from now on."

"How about we finish this date with a kiss?", he suggests, nervousness now having left his voice. You nod and he cups your cheek and presses several soft kisses to your lips; the horrors from the movie already forgotten.

If Leona didn't have have a deep-rooted distaste for a lot of celebrations his older brother hosted in his homeland, Valentine's Day would be right up there on the list of Leona's least favorite holidays. He really doesn't like anything cheesy and seeing people being all lovey-dovey gets on his nerves. For Leona, it's pointless to dedicate an entire holiday to appreciating your lover when you could just be doing that whenever.

You enter Leona's room on Valentine's Day, finding your boyfriend sleeping in bed. You smile and sit down beside him, gently rubbing his ears and watching him instinctively snuggle close to your lap and his tail swishing back and forth. "Pspspspsps Leona", you whisper and poke his cheek.

His eyes open slowly and he looks at your face with a confused expression before stretching his limbs like a cat and sitting up. "Why'd you wake me up, herbivore?", he asks calmly and rests against your shoulder. To anyone else he would have said this with an annoyed tone and a frustrated facial expression but with you his tone was gentle and like he was actually interested in the answer.

"I got you something", you say and pull out a small yellow box from your bag, tied neatly with a black ribbon. "Did you get me one of those Valentine's chocolates Sam sells around this time of year?", he asks as he takes the box from you. "Well, not really. I know you don't really like Valentine's Day so I got you this instead", you explain and Leona lifted the cover of the box, instantly snorting and letting out a laugh. Instead of chocolate hearts there were pumpkin-shaped chicken nuggets in the box and the inside of the cover was decorated with a sparkling, cursive "Happy Halloween!" surrounded by stickers of ghosts and bats. The little greeting card that came with it had a distorted "Congratulation!" written on it that started in the middle of the card and the letters became more and more squeezed the closer the writing got to the edge, to make sure that the whole word still fit on it.

Leona was wheezing and patted your head. "Okay that's funny, you got me", he chuckled and plopped one of the nuggets into his mouth, pleased that you had given him meat instead and attempted to make him laugh rather than trying to feed into convention and giving him a red box of Valentine's chocolates.

He ate all of the nuggets in the box and then put it aside, pulling you into his arms and laying down in bed with you. He mumbled a "thank you" and buried his face in your shoulder. You started gently caressing his ears and kissed his forehead.

Leona would just hold you in his arms for a while and maybe spend the day in bed cuddling with you or playing chess with you.

If Valentine's Day is important to you, Leona would adapt and actually try to celebrate it with you. But in general, as your relationship grows, Leona learns of all the things you like and dislike and he takes you out on dates once in a while when he feels like you'd appreciate it. Whether that's Valentine's Day or just any other day. After all, who would he be if he didn't put in any effort after you were the one to put him first?

He definitely keeps your affectionate gestures in mind and who knows? He might take you out a couple days later to have a nice walk on the beach and have a picnic there as the sun sets.

Jade is relatively new to Valentine's Day as it's not a holiday that exists under the sea. They have a similar holiday that's dedicated to celebrating the union of the mermaid princess and her human lover but it's not quite the same as Valentine's Day on land.

"What a curious custom", Jade thought at first when he heard about it during his first year. Ever since the twins and Azul knew about it, they've been using the opportunity to sell overpriced Valentine's gifts and specials at Mostro Lounge.

Ever since he started dating you, Jade has wondered whether he'd be celebrating Valentine's Day with you this year. He gets you some rare flowers he grew himself (actually making sure none of them are poisonous) and if he feels like you'd like it, he'll make you a terrarium like the ones he has. He puts a bunch of plants and small sea animals in there that he collected himself while scavenging the ocean around Sage's Isle. He makes sure to include everything he thinks you might like. He promised you to take you to the Coral Sea and show you his home one day but for now the opportunity hasn't arisen yet so he wants to show that you're part of his world by giving you a part of his.

He puts psathyrella aquatica in your terrarium which is the first and only known underwater mushroom.

Jade shows you how to take care of the terrarium and sometimes the both of you take care of it together.

For Valentine's Day, Jade takes a free day from work and reserves a table at Mostro Lounge for you and himself. He gets the special Valentine's Day mocktails and dishes for half the price so you're in luck. "It took you this long to prepare it?", Jade teases his twin brother as Floyd brings you your meals. Floyd glares at his brother angrily and then turns to you. "Jade used to be scared shitless of the sun when he was a kid. He thought it was gonna fall out of the sky and kill him", Floyd snickered, now being the one to earn a glare from his brother. You laugh at the mental image of a small Jade being scared to swim to the surface of the ocean because the sun was there. "We'll sort this out later, Floyd", Jade replies with a bright smile on his face. The shady, threatening kind.

"For the record, Floyd was the one who told me that the sun was going to fall out of the sky and kill me", Jade explained and sighed, "he kept that prank up for 2 whole years." You chuckle. "Somehow that makes it even funnier", you took his hand on the table and held it in your own, "did you think you were safe underwater?" Jade nodded. "I thought it was just going to go out when it falls into the water", he chuckled, "looking back on it, it was quite curious what we'd come up with to explain what was above the surface and on land before we started going to school and learnt the real facts."

He makes sure to inquire whether you enjoyed your meal or not and gives Azul his feedback. He wraps an arm around your shoulder as he walks out of the restaurant with you.

He later takes you to the greenhouse after all classes have ended for the day and no one was in there anymore. "I have to show you something", he explains and leads you to the window where several plants were standing, "this is an entirely new mushroom species I've created. It's very fascinating. I named it after you." You look at the mushrooms that were moving slightly in a way that looked almost threatening. "Let me guess, they're poisonous?", you ask and lean against Jade. "Probably the most poisonous ones we have on this entire island. Actually they'd make your organs explode within a couple of hours of eating them." He said that with such a joyful smile on his face that it was almost unsettling. But don't worry, Jade naming the creepy mushrooms after you is a sign of his love for you.

You're like "is this even allowed?" and Jade is like "that depends on how you interpret the rules :) "

Valentine's Day with Jade ends with some comforting cuddles in his room and few sharing chocolates after stopping by at Sam's shop and buying some.

Malleus is completely unaware of Valentine's Day. Straight up didn't know what it is.

You've liked him for a while but you were quite unsure whether the two of you could even work out because he's the crown prince of a whole country and meant to be king one day and you're a commoner. Nevertheless, you hoped he would become aware of your feelings for him and give you the answers you needed. You considered just telling him and talking to him about this but you didn't know how appropriate it was to just confess your love to Briar Valley's heir apparent and you were also worried it might make your friendship awkward.

So you decide to take your chances on Valentine's Day. If he rejected the idea of being involved with you romantically, you could always say you gave him flowers and chocolate because he's a great friend.

You get him a personalized bouquet with flowers you associate with him and a box of Valentine's chocolates. He doesn't get why you're giving him gifts and he's just like "thank you, my dear friend :) "

He's really happy about it but he only learns about the intention behind the gifts when Lilia educates him later. "Valentine's Day is a celebration in human society that is dedicated to appreciating the one you love", he explains. "Oh...like a best friend?", Malleus smiles. Lilia sighs. "Uh...sometimes...but I think y/n wanted to express that they're in love with you", he puts Malleus out of his misery. Cue the surprised Malleus face™.

Malleus is so unfamiliar with romantic relationships that he doesn't notice he has a crush on someone until someone else makes him aware of it, in this case Lilia.

So Malleus, with his newfound clarity about his feelings for you, decides to make the best out of the rest of Valentine's Day and get you some gifts in return to attempt to court you. Lilia recommends that he stops by the Mystery Shop, since Sam is selling a lot of typical Valentine's gifts today. So Malleus heeds the older fae's advice and buys 3 bouquets of red roses, which Lilia told him are the ones most associated with romantic love, along with a box of chocolates for you too.

There's also a stand in Sam's shop with a bunch of silver rings in ring boxes. The picture above it shows a man going down on one knee and presenting the ring to his significant other. The caption on it says "Give your loved one the ultimate proof of your love". And Malleus finds one with a subtle dragon-themed design and he's like :)

So he goes to you after classes and presents you with the bouquets and the chocolate first. "Y/n....perhaps it took me some time to realize, but I love you. Would you allow me to court you?", Malleus asks. The three bouquets are a bit much but he's got the spirit. You accept and put the bouquets aside for a moment, pulling him into a hug.

Then he pulls out the ring and gets down on one knee in front of you, presenting it to you. You're shocked for a moment, not knowing how to even process what is happening. Three students walk by and stare at the two of you in bewilderment as you frantically try to gesture to them "this is not what it looks like".

You guide Malleus to stand up again and take his hand in yours, squeezing it gently. "I love you, Malleus. But we've only started dating a couple of minutes ago...I can't possibly agree to marry you yet...", you explain softly. Malleus is like "wait what?"

He explains to you how the rings were advertised in the shop and you laugh, putting one on your finger and the other one on his. "Well, an accidental proposal was not on my list of things I expected to happen today, but I will never forget about this", you snicker and Malleus laughs along with you, glad you're taking his awkward mistake with humor, "let's take these rings as a promise of our love for now. We'll worry about the future when we get there."

You gently cup his cheek. "May I kiss you?", you ask and Malleus nods, leaning close until his lips meet yours in a soft and loving kiss. He holds you gently in his arms and looks into your eyes with a happy smile. "I love you, my dearest. Next year you should show me all about celebrating Valentine's Day."

A student made a deal with Azul, basically for better grades. However the student got cocky and didn’t give his half of the bargain leaving Azul there like a fool.

So Azul sent Jade and Floyd to take care of it…

Jade and Floyd broke into a students dorm, the student was from Ignihyde, so he basically thought that with the amount of security and tech plus making a deal with Crowley for online classes would save him from Azul’s original wrath.

It didn’t.

Floyd broke in through the vents on the ceiling and Jade broke down the metal door with a psychotic grin.

There were particles from the ceiling coming down since the whole ceiling fell, as the student tried to run past Jade just to trip on air.

When the student fell to the floor a hand grabbed his head to make him face two sadistic eels.

As you walked up to the cell Jade and Floyd were you heard the most ear piercing scream.

Floyd and Jade began to fake cry, you were so done with them both.

Jade started laughing even more at the situation.

You felt bones pop.

I had some people a little curious as to how I rated the TWST boys in my "TWST guys I would let date my niece (theoretically)" post in terms of personality only (considering they're fictional and my niece is 10). I can't completely answer everyone since there's only so many words tumblr would let me write as a reply, so here's for anyone who was curious.

The rating system was created alongside my niece on what she wanted in a partner (as much as she understood dating, anyway), compatibility with her personality, and my input as someone who has either met, known, or fortunately and unfortunately dated ppl with such personalities. With this in mind, maybe our list would be different from how you would categorize, which yea fair enough. This is all hypothetical anyway and it was interesting to see what my niece likes.

This does NOT mean I dislike any of the TWST guy. Seeing how unique each of them are personality-wise is honestly amazing and I want to believe that even if you have what people call "red-flags", "dealbreakers" or "turn-offs", that doesn't necessarily make you a bad person, just incompatible (with exceptions of like really toxic, destructive traits, like stealing someone's dog. Don't do that, guys).

Have you ever thought about hypothetically pairing up a Sansa from one fic with a Jon from another?

I randomly thought about how fun Across The Universe!Sansa and Bachelor Fic/Soccer Player!Jon could be together. I think if they started dating, social media would stop functioning. The Northern economy and Winterfell tourism would be booming. This would also work with Popstar!Sansa or former child star!Sansa and Take Me Out!Jon (can you tell I'm craving a Hollywood AU where they're both famous? Lmao)

In a practical sense, Help Me Out Of The Shape I'm In!Sansa and Jon from the Kidnapping fic would be great together, I feel like. He could help figure out the truth about her parents and possibly how to deal with the Lannisters and she wouldn't have all that baggage that comes with being a royal.

But if i'm thinking of what would be the most fun dynamic for ME, then its Help Me Out!Sansa and I'm on Fire!Jon. Girl whose parents were tragically murdered becomes Fake Psychic to help her figure out their death meets traumatised writer who became an escort to take care of his great uncle. She also seems a bit tougher and his life is pretty stable so they could balance each other out.

Sansa in the Cult fic is a DOer, put her in Help Me Out!/Frozen Pines/any of the thriller or mystery fics and she'll figure out whatever is going on - moms are built different, I swear.

Tinder fic!Jon and Trojan Horse!Sansa could bond over doing fucked up shit and hurting people they didn't mean to hurt while they were in college :(

That is super interesting, anon, but I have to say - I don't really think about this! Each story/each pairing is (in my mind) made for each other in that specific scenario. Across the Universe Sansa wouldn't take Bachelor Jon seriously, because she would assume he's "like all the others" and never give him a chance to prove himself. She's too jaded, and part of why she clings to AtU Jon is because he isn't famous.

I think adding kids to the mix immediately changes the dynamic. Like yeah, cult fic Sansa would have been a lot more vocal about getting the fuck out of there in Frozen Pines, because she either has the kids with her, or needs to get back to them. Although I think mother!Sansa would not have pursued her parent's death in Help Me Out, because she wouldn't put the kids at risk for her own closure/unlikely justice

I also think the different genres stop me from seeing it. Help Me Out Sansa is so jaded because it's a noir, in a way I'm on Fire Jon isn't, because it's a romcom with a heavy splash of trauma.

What I'm getting from this is that I need to write a fic where they're both famous :)

My favorite part is the absolute powerhouse of creativity and innovation. You all have this incredible knack for coming up with unique ideas that never fail to inspire me. Plus, they're hilarious! Their sense of humor adds a delightful twist to everything we do, making even the wildest ideas feel approachable and fun. Honestly, being around such talent and laughter is a constant source of my motivation and joy!

- what’s one thing you'd like in mutual to know about you?

No notification I receive on this app goes unnoticed. I'll be at work, smiling because someone found my writing and enjoyed it! It means so much to me and only makes me want to write even more!

- is there anything you'd like to see more of on your dash?

I would love more collaboration and interaction in my messages. I am open to discussing and exchanging ideas with another writer. I’m particularly interested in co-creating a planetary system and bouncing creative ideas back and forth.

- which wips or writing projects are you noodling about lately

I'm currently working on fleshing out a novel titled Journals from The Whitmore Estate, which is a modern/historical fiction story. The novel explores the slave and civil war era, and also delves into our near future. It centers around the actions of a power-hungry ancestor who sought to shift power dynamics, and the resulting centuries of generational backlash.

- how long have you been working on them?

Its been about a few months, I had to take a break to give myself new perspectives and coming to a decision on who the main character was!

- do you remember what inspired them/what got you started

I was looking at writing prompts and came across one that said something along the lines of “Your character inherits a manor from a distant relative. Upon moving in, they discover what lies within its walls, answering why your family has been plagued by bad luck for as long as anyone can remember.”

- how much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

Wayyy too much! Now rhat I've found the main character, I can't put it down!

- when someone ask the dreaded "what do you write about?" question what do you usually say?

“I write whatever comes to mind!” Or “You can read my writings to find out.” 😗

- name any characters you created. Side characters, protagonist, antagonist, characters who’ve never been written, the first original abomination you ever pulled from your ass; whomever you’d like!

Kirjani is my favorite oc to date! Her chosen family: Rick, Raelin, and Lena. The three sisters from the Isles of Aurorith! Imani, Jade and Jasmine, the first ocs I ever created, they deserve their story to be told. (I’m working on it!!) My scrapped character folder is at about 60 something, but the one I just couldn't figure out completely was their grandmother Queen Amara, those who've followed me for a while probably remember her! She was just a bit too sinister and I tried to work around certain motivations and rationality kept getting in the way 🤣 I might use her for another story of mine I've been thinking about

- who’s the most unhinged?

I think it would be between Amara or Kirjani for sure. One of them is justifiably so, the other… not so much LOL

- who comes the most naturally for you to write?

Jules a gay sophmore in high school who is grieving the sudden loss of his mother (I haven't introduced him yet!) He's the first character I've ever based on myself or someone like me rather.

- do you ever cringe at them?

Oh yeah, that’s when I'm writing his best romantic scenes. Love, especially teen romance is supposed to be cringy and awkward at times. That's what makes it so!

- how much control do you feel you have over your characters? do they ever “write themselves,” refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn’t expect? to what degree? are some less cooperative than others?

They literally form their own lives that I just go with, its their world I’m just living in and writing it! I'm considerably outnumbered lmao

- do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? and do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? for example, as asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on ao3, etc.

More than words can express, that's why I love sharing my characters and their personalities. I want to open discussions on humanity and how the human condition can create dynamically and perplexing people!

- what makes you want to follow another writeblr account? do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? do you follow based on wips, or vibes?

I don't really have enough mutuals or followers, so I follow people based on their creativity and if they're on Writeblr. I don't have much discernment at the moment :)

- what makes you decide against following?

Just depends. I guess I haven't found a page I've ever said, “Oh no, can't follow that,” too.

- do you interact with non-mutuals often?

Not really, and if I follow you and you don't follow me back, I will give you 24 hours before I unfollow. We're all creatives here; no one is more creative than the next person, in my opinion.

Thanks! I can give some general stuff my sister and I have for the au 🫡 It's been fun making these designs for everyone and researching back on 2000s fashion. It's my favorite type lol, growing up I wished I could dress like all the older girls, and now I can dress up characters like it!

Mileena has a booked schedule; AP classes, soccer, fashion club, and student body president duties. She likes to keep herself busy as well as make her parents proud. She's an awful driver but hasn't gotten into an accident yet so she has a lot of false confidence lmao. Her best friends are Tanya and Rain, they give off gay friend group vibes but they gotta be in the closet I think (big inspirations for Mileena is late 2000s fashion, dipping into the mcbling era, a bit of scene as well. Total Millionaires influence as well)

Kitana is in cheer and photography! She likes being active in a way that works her whole body and keeping some grace to it. She enjoys taking photos of her friends and family, not wanting to forget a moment. She's top of her class while still finding time to roam the mall and enjoy her youth. She spends a lot of time looking out for her sister, however. (Also we hc she has a bit of a crush on Kuai Liang) (inspirations for Kitana are Britney Spears in her prime. Very girl next door, Michelle Branch inspo)

Bi han does shot put for the track & field team, and hates having to wait for Kuai Liang to finish his runs. He plays on his Xbox at home, co-op Halo matches with his friend Sektor. He's the designated driver of the group and he hates being chauffeur. Into divorced dad rock crush on kitana btw (inspirations fashion wise was lowkey LeoDicap for some reason? He's also my outlet to express how much I love grungy emo rock of the 2000s)

Kuai Liang does long distance runs for the track & field team, incredibly thankful Bi Han waits for his practice to end to drive him home. He's into skateboarding as well, often hanging at skate parks with his friends Hanzo and Harumi. He plays guitar as well, picking it up to play his favorite rock songs. He does a lot of house maintenance, going grocery shopping and cooking for his brothers. (Inspiration fashion wise was Fred Durst lmao idk why it just fits him in my brain. Also the guitar stuff comes from us just thinking Kuai being a Santana fan makes sense)

Tomas is in 5th grade and likes hanging out with his brothers and their friends, it makes him feel cool and included. He, Syzoth, and Ashrah are a little friend group of outcasts, he doesn't care and will defend his friends. He loves movies, especially ones of up and coming actor Johnny Cage. He dips his toes into the early internet, playing online games like Neopets and checking out cool websites. (Inspiration is Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle lol and really myself growing up in the 2000s. I'm projecting your honor)

Some miscellaneous stuff is these guys mentioned above are neighbors! They've known each other a long time and get along...decently. Shao is business partners with Sindel and Jerrod, often leaving Reiko to be babysat by the twins (to their dismay). Reiko is one of the kids who picks on Tomas and his friends, finding it irritating they aren't afraid of him.

Jade is Kitana's close friend, she's a member of the field hockey team and loves shopping. Tanya and Rain are in color guard! Skarlet plays bass guitar and is trying to start a band. Nitara has a reputation of dating people and stealing their wallets, also rumored to be a vampire. Sektor and Cyrax are friends with Bi Han, they're Sci Fi fans and kinda geeky but they hide it well. (Sometimes).

Johnny is a fresh actor with a breakout movie under his belt, he's a little excited about how quick his career caught wind and is signing up for everything. He makes tons of appearances, loves interviews, signs up for the smallest of projects, and answers every fan letter. He moved out to LA with his girlfriend Cristina, and she hired 3 bodyguards since worries about Johnny getting lost in the excitement. Jax, Sonya, and Kenshi work for Johnny and are exasperated at how much he revels in his fame, but also how he stays genuine and kind.

(As for the Harumi, Hanzo, and Kuai thing...the three are definitely friends. I could go either way about the dating stuff, whatever is more fun lol)

(Also, additional hcs, the Lin Kuei Brothers are half Chinese half Mexican. Tomas is still Czech and adopted but he is my honorary Mexican. The Twins are Vietnamese and...something. Haven't decided if they'll also get hit with the Mexican beam through Jerrod or if Jerrod to me is just South Asian, haven't deciphered something specific yet)

Why I will never give up on Canon Buddie..... Listen I am just a little straight girl who grew up on romance novels. You want Eddie with a women. Well, I mean Vanessa was perfect if you were a writer.

One dare I say she was a better version of Anna and 2 with a little manipulation she could be the girl version of Buck. I mean no one ever could, so don't come for me with pitchforks I just meant in general. She was beautiful, fun, a little heartbroken and didn't add stress to Eddie. Telling the story?? So easy it's a tale as old as time. She shares his culture so let's fake date to throw our tias off. Become friends. Maybe meet Chris. Maybe hesitate to do more because she's jaded and worried it won't work out and how will that effect Chris. Like I have seriously read this story a million times yet the writers never pull the trigger.

My second thing. Again I am a moderately attractive straight single girl. It is not that hard for me to find a relationship. I can throw a rock and find companionship you know?? No disservice to us straights it's just facts. So the fact that the writers intentionally get this wrong while being so loud about the couch screams volumes to me. Especially when you couple it with the fact these 2 do not wing man for each other, talk about sex lives and only refer to the significant other to tell them to dump them. That is the loudest part about their living in each other's back pocket BFF forever relationship. I mean Eddie couldn't even process Buck taking care of himself.

In conclusion 911 if you want me to stop shipping them this all on you. I mean I will never stop. But you could at least try!!

Regarding Vanessa, yeah. I have seen plenty of rom coms that start off with the exactly interaction she and Eddie had. He's not ready, she's not ready, they come to the date with the intent to let each other down easy, and when they realize they were never an option for the other person, it intrigues them. It could have easily developed in the direction of "instead of going through this repeatedly, how about we fake date to get our Tias off our cases?" and slowly falling for each other. TBH, I wouldn't have been surprised if that's what 911 would go with, since so many shows would. I'm glad it didn't, that the point really was to help Eddie progress on his romantic journey rather than set him up with yet another LI.

I agree with you! I already thought it was eyebrow raising when 911 let Buddie be single throughout the entirety of s3 and a respectable chunk of 4a. Now in s6, they're both once again very single. And we're talking young, good looking, heroic firefighters. It should not be hard for them to find romance, yet out of almost 5 seasons of them being on the show together, roughly 2.5 they spend with both of them being single men. When they're the only single members of the main cast! That is VERY unusual, it's not the route most TV shows would take with their only single characters, you know? That Buck and Eddie are directly responsible for this state of double singleness a part of the time just makes it all more hilarious. XD

I've said it before, I will always ship Buddie. Which means as long as the show is on air and both of their characters are alive, I will hope for canon Buddie. But even if that doesn't happen, Buddie is canon to me. The show has written and filmed their epic love story, and I can't unsee that no matter what. In my head, it will always be just a matter of time before these two morons figure it out.

Saw AU ask time! So, I know you’ve said more than once you’d like to add a bit where Yuu’s university/college friends (the OCs) meet Yuu’s NRC friends and freak out over how famous they are…so I wanna know:

1. Which OC’s would meet which houses?

2. What would their initial reaction be?

3. Is there a point where they sense anything suspicious about the NRC alumni?👀

Oh! What a fun ask! I'm so excited to answer it!

As always to anyone who isn't aware me and @m34gs have a Twisted Wonderland Sort of Saw AU that we're writing together. If you haven't checked out our fics, the link is above!

First, I'm going to leave Leona out of this since I already wrote majority of my OCs meeting him in my Leona focused fic Casino Night.

Next, I'm going to lay out my OCs for everyone. I will admit, there isn't a ton to them. Mostly because I wrote them to be other characters for Yuu to bounce off. So don't expect any deep lore about them. I'm not a big OC making person.

My OCs are as follows:

Professor Robertson - He's the professor that Yuu is working under as a Masters Student. He's friends with Trein and the two enjoy drinking tea/coffee together.

Heather - She's a reliable person. Probably bisexual or lesbian. Unclear. Up to you to decide, I suppose.

Chloe - My favourite one due to her bright personality. She's also a fan of Vil's works.

Riley - Another graduate student.

Pierce - Another graduate student. Dating Nathan.

Nathan - Yet another graduate student. Dating Pierce.

Onto the questions!

1. Which OC’s would meet which houses?

Besides Leona, who they all met, here are the houses they'd meet:

Heartslaybul: I want everyone or a majority of them to meet Heartslaybul. I feel it's inevitable given that Yuu hangs around Ace/Deuce all the time.

Octavinelle: I want either Pierce or Nathan to meet them! I want this because I haven't written those two in a long while. Give them a chance to have the spotlight and maybe flesh a bit more out for their characters.

Scarbia: It has to be Riley because (fic spoilers) he's the one who had the issue that Yuu told Jamil and Kalim about which lead to their murder victim.

Pomefiore: Chloe has to meet Pomefiore.

Ignihyde: Bold to assume anyone could meet Idia. JK, I think someone like Heather or Riley would be fun for Idia to meet.

Diasomnia: Everyone will meet Diasomnia.

2. What would their initial reaction be?

Heartslaybul: They'll be mostly excited to meet some of Yuu's other friends! They've heard many stories about Ace/Deuce. Though, I imagine there will be some shock when they realize Yuu is friends with Trey Clover (owner of one of the most popular bakeries in town), Cater (Magicam extraordinaire), and Riddle (one of the youngest CEOs of a law firm).

Octavinelle: I think it depends on who they're meeting. Contextual wise it makes most sense to have them meet at a Monstro Lounge. In which case they'll see the Customer Service Azul, Jade, and Floyd. Well, as best of a customer service Floyd one can hope for. Working hasn't stopped Floyd from running across the restaurant to squeeze Yuu. In any case, I'm certain any OC who meets them will remain on the polite end of "I'm meeting new people".

Scarabia: Extremely shocked and in awe that Yuu is friends with Kalim Al Asim. This shock will only increase when Kalim (in his earnest nature) wants to throw a "small party" to get to know Yuu's other friends. Yuu wants to apologize, but also there is some amusement to watching someone taking in the grandeur of Kalim's wealth first hand.

Pomefiore: Once Chloe is over the shock of Yuu knowing THE Vil Schoenheit she's going to have a huge fan girl moment. She'll be super respectful, of course, but elated at the same time.

Ignihyde: I want anyone who meets Idia unaware of who he is at first. I want them to think he's some weird, pale, shut-in that Yuu somehow befriended. It's only after a while that all the pieces click into place and they realize "That's Idia Shroud of the Shroud Family".

Diasomnia: I don't just want shock. I want disbelief. I want everyone to Blue Screen for at least 5 minutes when they realize Yuu is friends with The Malleus Draconia, Crown Prince to Briar Valley. Sebek will take this as "They're in awe of Malleus-sama... AS THEY SHOULD BE. Bow before my Lord, Mortals" but thankfully Silver is there to assure everyone they do NOT need to start worshipping Malleus.

3. Is there a point where they sense anything suspicious about the NRC alumni?👀

Rapid fire answers here! Savanclaw can be included this time, given I didn't address this part in the fic.

Heartslaybul: I think it depends on the person. Some are easier to excuse than others. For example: Riddle is just too good at covering his tracks and Trey isn't participating in the murders. So, they're off the hook. However, I could see Ace/Deuce and maybe Cater accidentally slipping up a bit from time to time. It's easily fixed though.

Savanaclaw: Yes, but it's easily swept away with a "Well, he's Royalty and there have to be secrets kept from us lay people". Everyone thinks what Leona is hiding are national security/sensitive cases that comes with ruling and politics. Ruggie is not sloppy and Jack would never be that unprofessional.

Octavinelle: Yes. If they're not a little suspicious of Octavinelle there is something wrong. However, Jade and Floyd will "resolve" their suspicions with a red herring. For example, Jade will purposefully make a parcel look suspicious only to reveal it's an expensive mushroom he purchased to try out for a new dish. Thus, their suspicions will be "alleviated" and all will seem fine.

Scarabia: No. Kalim is just too bright and cheerful to suspect. Jamil is a little quieter, but he's good at covering his tracks (see: Book 4). If any suspicions arise it will be similar to Leona's except it will be business focused rather than royalty/politics.

Pomefiore: No, never. Vil has a Reputation to Uphold. He'd never allow himself to be the source of suspicion. Yes, Rook can be a little off putting, but that's chalked up to Rook being... himself. However, Rook would also never allow himself to be the reason why Vil is suspected. He'd rather perish than do that. Epel thinks that Rook is being extremely over-dramatic.

Ignihyde: No, everyone thinks Idia is a harmless gamer/nerd/shut-in. If any suspicions arise, similar to Leona and Kalim, it's chalked up to "STYX sensitive information". The only thing Idia is suspect of is buying all the dakimakura (body pillows) from his favourite slice of life "cute girls do cute things" anime. Sorry, Idia. It's the truth.

Diasomnia: No. This is because of two things. First, like Leona, Malleus is royalty and if he's suspected of hiding things, it's because it's due to that. Also, he's Fae and they operate on different rules/mindsets. What they feel is "normal" is normal to Fae! Besides, being suspect of murder means that jeopardizes Malleus seeing Yuu for tea time. He'd rather burn the world to ashes than risk his relationship with Yuu.

❓ #QOTD What's your favorite drink (non-alcoholic or cocktail)? 🦇 Post-divorce, Mel is now a jaded bartender at Terror & Virtue; a swanky cocktail lounge in NYC that gives the bar staff little room for creativity. There, Mel meets Bebe; beautiful, funny, and all too enchanting. Oh, and Bebe's partner, Kade. Mel tries to put meeting the bubbly beauty out of her mind until Bebe makes a unique offer: she wants to take Mel on a date. So begins Mel's first steps into the polyamorous world, prompting Mel to open her long trampled-on heart. While Mel balances shifts and dates with Bebe, she contemplates entering a cocktail competition to turn the dream of opening her own bar into a reality. But what if it all becomes too much at once?

💜 So, TJ Alexander is now a new auto-buy, a new fave, a new literary love. There are some books you have to read for chapters and chapters before you fall into the voice, before you recognize the main character's tone and inflictions and moods. The essence of Mel, from that very page, is both familiar and foreign, as most bartenders are. That's what makes them easy to talk to. Alexander's word choice is easy and enthralling; a comfort. Each character lives off the page until they're telling the story alongside you, from Bebe's bubbly personality to Kade's soft stoicism. This book is so beautifully, unapologetically, and above all NATURALLY queer. It's as refreshing as the palomas Mel loves (hopefully, since I wouldn't know), smooth and citrusy, sparkling and fun. I'm sad that I had to reach the end, even though the story's ending quenched my thirst after a long drought of 'meh' reads.

💜 Alexander provides a healthy, comforting, realistic glimpse into the polyamorous world. Each amendment to the written agreement Mel and Bebe began with showed us Mel's development as she opened her heart a little bit more with each chapter. I adored Mel's reason that many people she already knew (including her own roommate and best friend) were in poly relationships. Even though it took Mel by surprise, the actual existence of these relationships was natural. Alexander provides so many small glimpses into this world, inviting readers to understand different dynamics and arrangements, but there are bigger themes at play that I wish we delved into more for Mel's sake. For example, the analogy that relationships are gardens we must tend to, less they wilt. While Mel decides to put more of an effort into her friendship with Daniel, we only see two small attempts (a brief conversation and her meeting Daniel's paramour).

💜 Mel's trip with Kade was everything, providing us with an opportunity to focus on Kade's microexpressions and inner workings. I honestly could have lived in that chapter far longer. Maybe we can get a prequel, with Kade and Bebe and Blue, from Kade's point of view? I understand too well, being the person who feels so, so much but doesn't always show it. The commentary on jealous, their reasoning behind Bebe calling them "wife," their reaction to Mel defending them when so many people misgendered them at the airport; everything. Kade's smallest gestures had the biggest impact, including their urging for Mel to TALK with them and Bebe instead of getting upset over a minor mistake. Communication is a big theme in this book, in the BEST way. Bebe and Kade urge Mel to process her thoughts and feelings, even when Mel tends to fight them. Again, a wonderful portrayal of a healthy relationship.

💙 As captivating as Alexander's voice and wordplay were, I feel like some moments were rushed through. We don't get much of a chance to linger on the development of the relationships, HOW the feelings came about, instead moving quickly from the first date to Mel's unexpected attachment to Bebe, then again from the snow trip to amending the agreement once to include Kade to eventually the final amendment. There was just a bit too much tell and not enough show for me. Also, can we get some of Mel's recipes, pretty please?

From the moment they decided a double date was in order, Rachael and Jade had been super excited. They even went shopping the day before for their clothes together. Ice and Slider just chuckled at the pair as they went out.

Ron and Jade agreed to meet Rachael and Tom at their place so they could all go together to the restaurant.

Ice drove them all to the restaurant. Dragon in the passenger seat holding his hand as he drove, and the other two in the back getting cosy with one another. It was nice to spend this time together.

They arrive at the restaurant and are shown to their table. Dragon and Whiskey spent a good amount if time catching up on things. Ice orders drinks for the table to begin with.

The girls sit next to each other, opposite their dear husbands. As the wine is poured, the girls keep on chatting. They're laughing and bringing up old memories and all the crazy shit they've often found themselves in.

Tom shares a look with Ron. "If I didn't know any better, I would say they were dating each other."

Ron chuckles.

"Damn right. You're just here to pay the bill so me and Whiskey can have a nice time," Dragon giggles.

Tom orders for him and Rachael, knowing full well she isn't picking anything any time soon. Ron decides to do the same for Jade, knowing her favourite meals by heart.

The waiter leaves.

The two girls burst into laughter again.

"Why are they laughing?" Tom asks.

"I think it's just a thing they do. They look at each other and laugh."

"Maybe they're telepathic?" Ice suggests.

"I don't have to be telepathic to know what's on your mind," Jade says, looking at her man.

Rachael laughs into her wine glass.

"We can't take you two any where," Tom laughs.

They continue to tease each other while they wait for their food. Just as the girls finish their second glass of wine, having not stopped laughing the entire time, the food arrives.

Four delicious looking meals are settled on the table and they all dig in. The girls laugh a lot less while eating, but conversation still flows.

It's nice. Spending this time together as a group. They go put often together, but this felt a lot more intimate. Going out for drinks at the bar is one thing, but sharing a meal and talking about all their favourite memories, that's something else.

As they finish dinner, topping up their drinks again, though Ice is on ice water now because he's driving back, Rachael suggests dessert. Jade waves over the waiter and asks for their dessert menu.

"I don't think I can eat anything else," Ron says, leaning back in his chair a bit.

Rachael sticks her tongue out at him. "Well, I fancy something sweet."

"I fancy you," Tom says, without hesitation.

Jade giggles as she sips her wine and turns her head to Rachael. "Should we give you two some space?"

Rachael smiles as she leans into Jade's side. "They should be giving us space, no way am I leaving my wifey!"

The two burst into another fit of giggles.

The waiter drops off the dessert menus for the ladies and leaves again. The two open the menus and go over their options, trying to decide if they want the same thing, or if they want to go 50/50 on two desserts.

Just as Jade thinks she had decided on one, a voice near by catches her attention. It's a familiar voice she hadn't heard in years. Just like that, she goes cold. Rachael notices her shiver and looks up at her best friend.

Jade turns her eyes to the table near by. Standing behind one of the chairs was a man she hadn't seen in ages.

Rachael follows her gaze and sees the man.

"Someone you know?" Rachael asks. Her questions has both men across the the table looking up at where Jade is looking too. Ron feels himself tense up.

"That asshole!"

Ron is about ready to get up out of his chair, but Jade is quick to reach over and stop him. She grabs his wrist gently and looks at him with pleading eyes.

"Can I ask?" Dragon looks between the couple.

"That's Stephen. My ex," Jade says, turning her eyes to the table. She picks up her wine glass again. "He doesn't know I'm here, let's just eat dessert and go."

Rachael closes her menu and watches Jade for a moment. She glances at Ron who is glaring over at the man at the other table. Rachael then glances at Tom who is looking at Jade with concern.

"Jade?"

Whiskey freezes and Ron's band curls into a fist on the table. Tom looks up at the man who was early upsetting his dear friend. Rachael reaches over under the table and takes Jade's hand in hers.

"It is you!" Stephen stands over their table with a huge shit eating grin on his face. Rachael hates it. "You haven't changed at all."

The way he says that makes Rachael's toes curl.

"Who are your friends?" Stephen looks at each of them.

"I'm Ron, her husband." Slider says. He had never met Stephen, but he knew all he needed to know about that man to know he hated him with a passion.

"Husband?" Stephen laughs. "Well, if you're into that..."

Ron glares at him. "What does that mean?"

Stephen doesn't reply. He turns his eyes to Rachael. She hates the way he looks at her. Rachael squeezes Jade's hand a little tighter.

"And you are?" He asks her.

"A boss ass bitch," Dragon sips her wine with her free hand.

"Ha. Okay..."

Stephen turns back to Jade. "You must at least be making a lot of many if these are your friends. At least you have that going for you."

Tom stands up immediately and stares him down. "I think you should go."

"What? I'm just catching up with an old friend."

"Old friend? I'd hardly call it that," Tom states. "You're making my friend uncomfortable."

Stephen continues to grin at Tom.

"You mustn't know many people if she's your friend."

It takes everything in Tom not to punch this prick in the face. He didn't want to make a public scene, but Stephen's loud voice seems to have done that already.

Stephen turns to Ron.

"I hope you have a good lawyer, you can't possibly be with her because she's any good in bed. I'd drop her soon as you can if I were you. Trust me, no one wants her weighing them down from life."

Rachael barely blinks before Ron is up on his feet and grabbing the man by his shirt. He holds the man up close to his face.

"Say one more thing about my wife. Go on."

Stephen begins to laugh.

Rachael turns to Jade and finds her darling friend crying quietly. Rachael wraps her arms around Jade and pulls her into her side. Jade leans against Rachael without a word.

"That's it." Tom looks at Ron and they both grab one of Stephen's arms each. They begin to drag him out of the restaurant.

Jade smiles at Rachael.

"He was the worst part of my life," Jade confesses. Rachael places her hands on Jade's face and smiles at her softly.

"I better step in before Ron does something. Your husband would start a war for you if he could."

A- Pairings you currently like a lot: This one didn't give an upwards limit so I'm just gonna go with a few off the top of my head and stop myself from going overboard, because there's actually a lot of pairings I really like just in twst alone, and that would take all night. Anyway! I've been big on Vil/Leona for a long time now, mainly because they firmly don't take each other's shit and don't hesitate to talk back, which isn't something either get from most other students. There's definitely more to their dynamic than that, but again, tryna keep it short. Next is Idia/Leona, and honestly I have trouble explaining what I like about their dynamic so much, but I like how comedically incompatible they seem at face value while actually being a couple of isolated nerds who like strategy games and care more than they wanna admit. I think Cater/Idia is cute, but I haven't delved into the actual dynamic much. And I think Deuce and Epel should date because they're hilarious and cute and deserve people with the same interests to geek out with.

B- Pairing that I hadn't considered but was talked into it: Oho this one does have a limit, nice. I think the biggest ship I have now that I wouldn't have considered without help is Trey/Jade. They're just, such little weirdos, but not in an immediately compatible way and that somehow makes it better. I can't decide if Trey would get creepily obsessed and pursue Jade while Jade psychologically torments him for it, or if Jade would set up his style of elaborate bullshit to pursue Trey while Trey is too awkward/uncomfortable to admit it's happening, maybe some convoluted combination of both. Or, a secret third thing where they actually get to talking and find that they both enjoy hearing about the other's slightly obsessive interests they make everyone else uncomfortable, and bond over mutual infodumping and the ability to be as weird as they want around each other without scaring each other off. Either way, they seem like they'd end up being fine with each other's fake as hell sides while also enjoying what's underneath. Or maybe just perpetually tormenting each other, but it's still fun.

Also honorable mention to Leona/Jamil, which I've considered off and on, but a friend has recently been talking me into it more, so it's somewhere between these two questions I guess.

I think museum dates would be right up Trey's alley. They're pretty chill, informative, and as interactive and fun as you want them to be, and I just really envision Trey as really enjoying museums.

Pros:

Has All the snacks necessary for an outing; and a picnic lunch. He got excited and went all out.

Will hold your hand while you wander the exhibits together

Doesn't push to get through more quickly, but also does not need to read every single word on each plaque.

Very knowledgeable if you happen to go to a museum that features a cooking/baking exhibit. You get to listen to him rambling 💜🥰

Has prepared for any and all instances of accident or injury that could occur and is able to keep his head if anything serious goes down (this is kind of just applicable for any and all dates with Trey, but it still counts here, so I'll include it!)

Cons:

Because he has all the snacks and water bottles and potential other things that may (but probably won't) be necessary...he has a large backpack and it is heavy. It also may get you stopped by security depending where you're going.

Has a tendency to mother-hen you and when a large crowd starts forming, his Big Brother Instincts take over. You have to remind him a couple times that you're not a child.

Savanaclaw - Jack

I totally agree that out of the Savanaclaw boys, Jack is the one who will go to a museum with you. He's polite, he's charming, and he wants to do something that makes you happy; so if that means a museum date, then a museum date it shall be. He's very supportive of your interests and he would also welcome the opportunity to learn and become more aware of other cultures.

Pros:

Eager to go with you and is easy to talk to about all the museum subjects

He will try All the interactive pieces of the exhibit (puzzles, interactive touch screens, etc) because he wants to get the most out of the trip.

Easy to find in a crowd and has no problem (gently) muscling his way through to get to you if separated.

He is down to try any and all foods; so any themed foods is a go!

If there's outdoor activities to do around the museum as well, or any part that involves a bit of physical activity, he is thrilled and it is so endearing to see him so happy and also get to do fun activities with him

Cons:

His tail won't stop wagging because he's so happy to be around you and, while this is cute, it means that he has to be really careful not to wreck anything (especially in the gift shop)

I agree on the sensitive senses; he may get easily overwhelmed if you go during a busy time, so you have to try and plan the date for a less busy time.

Octavinelle - Jade

Jade loves learning about nature on land. He is fascinated by it and seems eager to try all sorts of new things. I think if the museum has a lot of nature themes, he would be thrilled to go there on a date with you. I think he'd also be interested in seeing what exhibits you enjoy as well!

Pros:

He's thought it through and done some research. There are parts he wants to see, and he marks those sections as Must Visits. He encourages you to do the same, so you both can spend time in the exhibits you really want to see together and not run out of time to enjoy them.

He is fascinated by a lot of the subject matter, so you get treated to watching him be genuinely excited about it. He feels the same about you when in the exhibits you highlighted. Jade likes seeing people's reactions to things, and I'm assuming since it's a date he is wanting to see your happy reactions.

He can, and will, go off on tangents about anything and everything he has researched. You don't need a guide. Jade is your guide.

He would make sure you don't get separated, and he is the ultimate chivalrous date; holding doors and making sure you both take breaks together from standing so long.

He spends as much time, or more, in the gift shop as you, so you don't have to feel like you're making him wait.

Cons:

He will give off a threatening aura to anyone who he thinks will ruin the date...which doesn't mean bad things for you necessarily, but it can be a little embarrassing watching him give that threatening smile to parents of children who keep running through the exhibits.

He will get annoyed if there is incorrect information about the Coral Sea listed in the museum. Again, not really a *problem* for you, but it does put a slight damper on the date for a moment.

He is awake at daybreak to start your date. He knows it's not for a while, but he's just that eager. He also decides you should be up so that you can make sure you have everything you need before the two of you set out.

Scarabia - Jamil

I also agree that Jamil would be the one from Scarabia to really enjoy a museum date. He's calmer, a little more interested in the exhibits than Kalim is. I think it would be just mentally stimulating enough for him, and also give him that calm environment he has been desperately wanting lately.

Pros:

Prepared a lunch, similar to how Trey did.

Looked up the museum ahead of time so he knew what sort of things to expect and make sure it aligned with both your interests

He's pretty much a model date. He's polite, thoughtful, and he definitely buys you a little present from the gift shop afterward.

He's great for discussions about anything, and likes learning about other cultures.

You will not be short on funds. At all. He has planned enough for the museum, plus extras, and he has emergency back-up cash ready as well. You could end up needing to stay overnight in a hotel and he would have it covered.

Cons:

Blatantly refuses to let you go anywhere on your own. He will wait outside the bathroom for you.

sometimes you have to remind him that you are capable of doing some things on your own and are an independent person

If anyone gets too close to you, he shoots them a glare. It's a little sweet, but it is kind of embarrassing because most of those people are just others who are trying to enjoy the exhibits too.

Pomefiore - Vil

I think Vil, being famous, would have his ways of dressing down and avoiding the paparazzi. And I think he would actually enjoy museums quite a lot. He strikes me as someone who recognizes how important it is to learn about various cultures, as well as history and how the world has evolved over time. Plus, museums are usually more chill than a lot of other date places. If there's a documentary showing in an attached theater, he'll be even more interested.

Pros:

Dresses stylishly but still blends in well. He also helps coordinate your outfit for the date; something cute but not outlandish for a museum.

He looked ahead at the schedule and there's a film showing; he thinks it would be a great chance to sit down after lots of walking through the museum and just enjoy the information passively. He's right, and your aching feet thank him.

He will buy you any one thing from the gift shop, and he also won't let you break your wallet trying to buy the entire shop. He's very persuasive.

He picks out a good restaurant nearby for a meal afterward, and it's healthy and filling food that won't leave you feeling bloated and will energize you after all that walking.

He is not excessively early when picking you up, but he's not late, just at a comfortable time.

Cons:

Very judgemental of the staff uniforms (they didn't get to choose the museum's colours, Vil)

Can look a bit aloof at times, so you may feel the need to check in and see if he's actually enjoying himself (it's his resting face. Just talk to him about it, he won't be upset)

Will Not be doing anything interactive; both because that's just not him and because he doesn't want to draw too much attention to himself in case anyone recognizes him.

Ignihyde - Ortho

I feel like Idia isn't coming out to a museum...unless it has something he absolutely wants. Ortho, on the other hand, cannot wait! He's ecstatic and he's torn between researching everything about it, and waiting to enjoy the experience in person. Either way, he is at your door bright and early and eager to get going.

Pros:

able to verify and fact-check things on-site.

Downloaded and memorized building blueprints; he always knows where the next bench, toilet, or water station is.

very eager to learn, and happy to experience it with someone he is close to. He will participate in everything he can. It makes for a very interesting day.

He wants to buy one of every plushie in the gift shop, and seeing him wander over to the cash register with a mountain of stuffies in his arms is super cute.

Cons:

can get a little lost in absorbing the information and sometimes forgets to look at the actual beauty of the museum display.

He participates in Everything. So it's a really long day. Be prepared and wear some good shoes.

Now you two have to carry all the plushies back home. Depending on if you drove or took public transport...that could be an interesting trip.

Diasomnia - Lilia

The very idea of Lilia going to a museum is humourous to me, and I think he would think so too. I think he wouldn't mind catching up on some information in case he missed anything in different parts of the world, and it's nice that it's all in one place. Plus, he gets to spend the day with you, which is something he enjoys. He does know a lot already, and he is not afraid to show it.

Pros:

Definitely will hold your hand and treat you chivalrously. He knows his manners and he wants you to have a good time.

He can give even more detail on certain displays than the museum employees, or any experts they bring in to talk about exhibits.

He isn't afraid to have fun and be a little silly. All museum dates should have a little silliness :)

He will spoil you with anything you ask for from the gift shop.

Cons:

If you see a display or exhibit on an event he witnessed, he will rearrange any and all statues/figurines/etc to the "correct" positions (ie. where he remembers them being at the time of said event). This definitely gets you both scolded multiple times. He is very pouty when he gets scolded

He wants to buy you more things. More. MORE. Are you *sure* you don't want that replica of the Briar Valley heirloom necklace? It's very accurate, he says. It would look lovely on you, he says. (It's over a hundred dollars, Lilia. Lilia, NO)

He brags to Malleus afterward and Now you have to deal with a pouty dragon who wants to go to a museum too.
