had a dream that i saw a cool moth in my apartment and wanted to know what it was so i, in the dream, went on an extensive wikipedia dive to find the name and biology of this moth and spent hours researching it. and then woke up and was very sad to discover that the yellow-winged thief moth does not actually exist

#but i think its really funny that i just. made up a moth in my sleep #it could spin sticky silk really fast and would use it to steal small items #it was white and yellow and i think it primarily ate dead skin #for some reason #and it could use the silk it spun to create crude ropes almost like spiderman #also there were a few other members of the ‘thief moth’ species that were all different colors. the most common one was the brown thief moth #and there was another one that had a lot less fur than the others and had weirdly big eyes #and all if this was on a wiki page for thief moth that i made up in my dream
