#i have so many thoughts about this#but it's a lot of inside baseball so i will just say#it's ok if u support sustainability bc u want tasty food and fresh air and beautiful sights!!#humans are weird animals but we are still animals#and i love how dunmeshi expresses that thru humanoid animals and reservations around cannibalism#the kelpies ep is really great at this!! chilchuck doesnt want to eat the fish man even tho hes not a man bc it feels cannibalistic to him#and adding that transitional species between “human” and “animal” in a culinary context rlly emphasises our part in the ecosystem!!#/ food chain lol#plus it seems like a really cute series : ) ive heard it gets intense later on so i am kind of scared
