Oh my GOD. I genuinely want to cry everytime I see uploads on this channel. I only discovered animatics a month or so ago and this has informed 90% of my visual perceptions of the Sanders Sides because they’re so perfect.
Like my gosh I just want to write entire diatribes to the colour choices and the expressions and the editing and the dynamic movement expression and then also just profess my undying love to the creator okay.
I could do an entire reaction video analysing every glorious frame of this video and I’m not so sure that’s not actually going to happen...
tumblr
to start off the rawring 20’s, i decided to remake my first animatic (original here).
i just wanted to thank everyone who’s been with me throughout this wild year, and decade overall. it always warms my heart to see so much love and support :,) i just find all this support absolutely mind blowing, i never thought i would have so many people following or overall enjoying my work together, it’s just. wow. thank you for allowing me too share my love with you all, and i have you all have a great year!!❤️☺️

ayo. ive read my scheduled email and its time for freewriting shit again. lmao. I want this post to be like a small light from a lit match stick inside a very hollow, icy, and numbing cave. (sounds cartoonish right? I know. Im obsessed with Adventure Time.) I want all people to be genuinely happy. Spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Upon reaching my 24th anniversary in this world, I finally learned how to truly embrace all my emotions. Some are more overwhelming than the other, but we have to heed in our treacherous yet perplexing minds that everything is fleeting and we are in control. The feeling of extreme sadness fades, but so does joyful states. Everything can change in a matter of minutes or years. You are in control of all your emotions. You are in control of all your life choices. Your actions. Your words. Your perspective. It feels weird to actually write about it. I've wanted to talk about it. I never wanted help from anyone as I firmly believed that I was alone. Sure, I have a family and friends, but it is hard to see that when your head is clouded with negativity. I've even come to the point where I was too overwhelmed, I found being physically hurt less painful. The pain I felt distracted me from what I was thinking. My mind tended to go bonkers. lmao. But bro, I was so good at concealing my bonkers mind. It's easy to fake any emotion that you have. Slap anything sunshine-y or happy to anything and people would believe you. It went on for years. Long story short, thousands of bracelets collected, it became worse. The physical pain could no longer withhold the emotional pain. Couldn't sleep. Couldn't stop thinking. And voila! I found a good amount of self help books (from tumblr) and novels. Novels that brought me to different places. Self-help books that made me understand what I feel and what to do. I've read that taking the easy way out will leave everyone sad. AND IN THE FIRST PLACEEEEEE, I NEVER WANT THATTTTTTT. I want everyone to be happy. I would act foolish and do dumb shit to make everyone happy in a heartbeat. So, that idea made me push a few more years. Later on, the crippling shit came crawling back again to my head, sooooooo I needed new shit to keep me distracted again. Films, series, music, and short clips from YouTube helped me out a lot. Every single time that my mind is going to think like anything that can think of, even to the point that I was just going to think that I might be hungry, I'd watch something. There's just something about silence for me. Because of this new habit of mine, I've learned more about myself. I love different types of things. I like horror. I like thriller. I like comedy. I like romance. I love all types of films, but there is something about the horror genre that interests me. I still can't point out what, but I love watching horror films. With regards to music, I've learned that I love Indie, Punk Rock, Rap, and Pop. We all can't like a specific genre. It's stupid to ask "what genre of music do you like?". It's not actually stupid-stupid, it's just stupid. Ya know? Anyway, passing this phase, I needed to find something again because it's not doing the shit that it was supposed to, I tried investing more time on video games. By investing more, I mean a whole shit lot. I love video games since I was young cuz.... u know.... they keep u... try to guess it! oh yeah. you got that right! distracted! I love the aggressive plays and trashtalks that my friends and I make. The short stories we tell one another. The rants. The lame jokes. The late night we sound drunk but we are not drunk jokes. The roleplays. The lame jokes. The memes. And once again, The lame jokes. Something about lame jokes and the laughs and curses after that always gets me every single time. Oh shoot. Yup Yup. Few years later, I finally noticed the pattern that my sadness is temporary. I got over it one way or the other (or another. depends on how you wanna read it. i dont wanna say another cause i might write about one direction like what im doing now so-). Happiness is temporary as well. But, we are the ones who are actually in control of our emotions. If you wanna feel sad, be sad for a while. You're getting too sad? Try hanging out with your funny friends. Can't do that? Find an alternative. Watch a movie, knit a sweater. Anything your mind could think of as long as it will keep you mentally distracted from being physically and mentally hurt. I do have a few notes though. We cannot and should never assume what people are going through. It may be petty for you, but it may be very crucial to them. So never everrrr say things like: -Some people have it worse than you -At least you have ..... These sheetsss are annoying as heckkk and could really down someone. I know it is not your intention to annoy but people react differently. alsooooooo, it is not okay or normal to hate on things for bandwagon. that is just plainly crazy and stupid. let people enjoy things. anddddddd never suppress your emotions. admit what you feel inside and try to think of a way to resolve ittttt. keeping it to yourself will just make it worseeeeee. find your own outlettttttttt. hihihi ️ alsooooo. being more spiritually full with God's words and ideas really help me to be spiritually happy. ps. im christian but i dont discredit other religion and even applaud other religion's ideas and beliefs. this is a really long, selfish post so i might as well recommend some things I like : Songs with their lyrics that made me go through life. “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier” -All These Things That I've Done, The Killers “It's not too late, I'm still right here” -Breaking Your Own Heart, Kelly Clarkson "And the salt in my wounds / Isn't burning any more than it used to / It's not that I don't feel the pain / It's just I'm not afraid of hurting anymore / And the blood in these veins / Isn't pumping any less than it ever has / And that's the hope I have / The only thing I know that's keeping me alive" -Last Hope, Paramore “There is not a single word in the whole world / That could describe the hurt / The dullest knife just sawing back and forth / And ripping through the softest skin there ever was / How were you to know?” -Hate to See Your Heartbreak, Paramore "It's holding on, though the road's long / And seeing light in the darkest things And when you stare at your reflection / Finally knowing who it is / I know that you'll thank God you did" -1800, Logic "Did some things you can't speak of / But at night you live it all again / You wouldn't be shattered on the floor now / If only you had seen what you know now then" -Innocent, Taylor Swift (My bb) "10 months sober, I must admit / Just because you're clean don't mean you don't miss it / 10 months older, I won't give in / Now that I'm clean I'm never gonna risk it // Rain came pouring down when I was drowning / That's when I could finally breathe / And by morning gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean" -Clean, Taylor Swift “I guess I always knew / That I had all the strength to make it through.” -Believe in Me, Demi Lovato "I'm addicted to the madness / I'm a daughter of the sadness / I've been here too many times before / Been abandoned and I'm scared now / I can't handle another fallout / I am fragile, just washed upon the shore / They forget me, don't see me / When they love me, they leave me" -I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me, Demi Lovato “I'm overwhelmed / I need a voice to echo / I need a light to take me home / I need a star to follow / I don't know” -Nightingale, Demi Lovato "I'm a walking travesty / But I'm smiling at everything. // Arrogant boy, Love yourself so no one has to." -Therapy, All Time Low "I tried it once before but I didn't get too far / I felt a lot of pain but it didn't stop my heart. / But maybe I'm alive 'cause I didn't really wanna die / But nothing very special ever happens in my life / Take the blade away from me I am a freak, I am afraid that / All the blood escaping me won't end the pain / And I'll be haunting all the lives that cared for me / I died to be the white ghost / Of the man that I was meant to be" -Ghost, Badflower "Are the pieces of you / In the pieces of me? / I'm just so scared / You're who I'll be / When I erupt / Just like you do / They look at me / Like I look at you" -DNA, Lia Marie Johnson Movies and series to try : -The Perks of Being a Wallflower (The book is bomb af. if yall havent tried, ur missing out) -The Kings of Summer -Never Let Me Go -The Art of Getting By -Silver Linings Playbook -Winter’s Bone -The Lovely Bones (The script. The words) -Me and Earl and the Dying Girl -American Horror Story -Black Swan
pps. remember that every one has their own pace and point of view. don’t push yourself too hard, and don’t overthink. give yourself time, and respect all your emotions. analyze them but not more than like 5 minutes as anything beyond that might cause you to overthink and be sadder. and sad is not rad. hehe. you got this. you got you. self love is the best even though it can be tricky to do. nobody else is like you. you’re the only one of you (i just remembered me.......... i might have hummed it while typing it mid sentence). consider other people’s opinion but do not let it cloud your own judgement as you know yourself best. dont let other comment’s define you. spread love. vibe people you vibe with. ayeeee lets go!!!
ppps this is my last post bc im happier now and know myself better. i no longer limit myself on the age that I want. I want to live as long as how God wants me to be. hehe.
x :D

Hey Kelly, I'm a newish harrie and I really love your blog! I was just watching some videos from Harry's tour and I'm just so amazed by his live vocals, not many singers sound that great live in my experience so I'm just really impressed. I'm just curious, what do you like most about Harry's voice/vocals, like what drew you to him as a singer? And what are your favorite performances by him? Have a great night!
hey there! WELL you have hit upon probably my fave subject to moan on about so I’m sorry if this gets long haha, also HIYA I love new fans woo!
Harry’s voice is - I’m sorry for sounding cheesy - probably my favourite sound in the whole world. It’s def what struck me the first time I heard a 1D song and then as I started looking into them (watching an embarrassing amount of youtube videos) I fell more and more in love. I don’t know how to quantify it and I’m not big on over-analyzing things like this but…it’s like…salted caramel crunch covered in the smoothest chocolate??? sounds ridiculous Kelly but here we are.
Some people say he’s not “technically” a stand-out singer. I disagree but there are definitely people who can hit a note easier I’m sure, but music is never about that for me. The thing about Harry is that I can FEEL everything he’s singing. There’s so much heart behind it and so much more than just him hitting a note. He has the most incredible tone, it’s so naturally beautiful to listen to. He has the ability to be so soft (like From the Dining Table) but also so powerful and hard (like KIWI) and it’s my Faaaaaaaave Thing.
Here’s some standouts for me and I’ll go kinda chronologically cause why not!! haha
Here’s little baby Harry on xfactor. I’ll admit, I didn’t watch all their xfactor stuff as I came in a little later (like 2013) but this one I did watch and you can tell, even though he’s only 16, there’s something so special about his voice!
Here’s some clips from when Harry toured with 1D. I can remember being so excited every time they did a show because Harry so often changed up notes, added special things, etc. 1)The best song from Take Me Home tour2) “Right Now” aka we didn’t deserve it, Where We Are tour3) Singing “18″ and being an all around earth angel every time 4) When they surprised us and did Drag Me Down for the first time and Harry killed everyone with the runs at the end, when I say I SCREAMED I mean itOn to SOLO HARRY! Almost every live performance has been impeccable, even phone-recorded fan vids from concerts have been gorgeous, here’s some cause I love to INDULGE:1) First show at The Garage and already changing it up and sounding incred2) Singing “Ultralight Beam” at The Garage and…well killing us all dead 3) “Woman” at The Troubadour4) “Sign of The Times” in MexicoHere’s my last few faves, mostly full songs!1) Meet Me in The Hallway from Behind The Album doc2) “Woman” from Live in Manchester3) this is just a clip but his Late Late Show performance of Two Ghosts was hauntingly beautiful4) Carolina on Late Late show (so fun)5) and my fave Sign of the Times performance from Graham Norton, he just looks so happy at the end lol it’s cuteSOOOOOOOOOO yeah this got long I’m SO SORRY. I love Harry’s voice!! Thanks for being so kind and I’m sorry this ran away with me! (WOOPS) But if you ever wanna see or hear more, I have this tag Harry Sings and there’s loads of loads of clips! Hope you like this! xxoxox
#you: what do think about this#me: LET ME WRITE YOU A DISSERTATION lmfaoo#i hope all those links work lmfao#harry styles#harry sings

I was wondering how you made the rabbit cage where you got the materials etc
lumber, cable ties, hinges, nails, linoleum tiles, superglue, screws, mechanical screwdriver, (optional) hand saw- home depot
storage cube grids- probably better to order these online, but we got em at bed bath and beyond.
make sure you read all the steps here before starting, since it’s hard to include all the information you need in one step and you might do something too early and have to undo it. i also probably forgot stuff...its hard to remember everything i did.
STEP ONE(measurements and preparation): first we measured the space that the cage was going to go. it is not an easy cage to move around once constructed unless you detach the floors/cut some of the cable ties, and even then it is pretty cumbersome. to move it on carpeted floors i have had to use furniture sliders. keep this in mind before building the cage: is it going to stay in that spot? will you be moving soon? do you have carpet or wood floors? theyre all things to consider before you start. if you have wood floors you will want something to go under this cage because it is likely to damage the floor otherwise.
STEP TWO(buy storage cube grids, do more measurements): after you’ve measured the space, you need to know the dimensions of the storage cube grids. they dont all come in the same size, so i can’t provide this to you. the reason you want the dimensions first is so you know what size to cut your lumber. i watched a youtube video to see what materials i would need, and in the video they cage was four grids long. after measuring the space and buying the grids, i decided that it was better if i made ours three grids long. as you can see in the post, it is also two grids wide, and each cage section is two grids tall. the goal was to make a big cage for two rabbits, so it is four grids tall in total. each section of the floor(except for the bottom one) has grids supporting it as well. this means we used 56 grids for the entire cage.
STEP THREE(purchase wood and other materials): the wood needs to be untreated wood. no processed woods with glues in them. likely the rabbits will chew on them so its better not to risk them consuming any weird chemicals. you can use treated wood for the bases,(especially if it’s lighter wood) since the rabbit will not have access to that part. it will be covered by the grids and the floor tiles. when cutting the lumber, you’ll want to make it so the base floor section fits inside the grids. the grids will sit on the floor around it. the floor sections will also need a sort of lip around them to attach the grids to. it’s hard to describe so just look at this picture to see how the wood sections go.
as you can see we messed up cutting the lumber on one side, so we just had to put it together as best we could. also youll notice the ramps are some kind of particle board material...i wasnt comfortable with that so i took them out later and we have yet to replace them. it’s been a tough year financially and i cant drive so i haven’t made the trip out to home depot to get new wood...we also haven’t adopted another rabbit yet for the same reasons. jojo has been using the bottom section of the cage and that alone is huge enough for me to fit inside pretty comfortably so i’m not too worried about him having limited space for a while.
STEP FOUR(floor tiles, then put all the wood together): you will want stick-on linoleum floor tiles to cover the floors of the cage. this is just to make sure things are more sanitary if your bunny pees on the floors. pee will probably still get on the sides of the wood if your bunny is not litter trained, but there is nothing you can do about that. basically just install the floor tiles as you would in your kitchen, with the edges flush against one another so your bunny can’t dig them up. i would reccomend you use superglue(the kind that works on these materials) around the bottom edges for added security. depending on what kind you use, the glue will take time to cure. this applies to every step of the project, but make sure the room is well ventilated. between the the wood and the glues, it might build a strong smell in a small room. this is something you want aired out before you put bunnies in because theyre more sensitive to fumes than we are. after we were done the smell was strong enough for us to notice, but it did go away eventually.
once the floor tiles are secured on, you can drill the wood sections together. don’t put the floor tiles on afterwards or you will have an awkward time getting them in there. since the tiles are thin they are easy to drill through.
STEP FIVE(attach the grids together): the grids themselves are secured together with cable ties. this might seem structurally unsound, but it really works if you use a lot of them. you will most likely use over a thousand cable ties in the process, so get a big bag. it doesnt hurt to have extras. just lay the grids out on the floor and tighten each section together. for added security, make an “X” shape with the ties at the corners. for the horizontal-laying grids that support the floor sections, make sure to attach them together with as many cable ties along the edges as you can. when it’s all put together it can support the weight of the wood and it’s very secure. if you want to take the cage apart you will have to cut some of the cable ties with a wire cutter. IMPORTANT- make sure you don’t attach all the grids together before putting the wood in or you’ll have to cut the cable ties again. we did this. woops. for the doors, just make sure a section of the grids in the middle is only attached with cable ties on one side. you can use a binder clip or something to lock the doors when they are closed.
STEP SIX(construct the wood pieces together): you will need a mechanical screwdriver to screw the wood together. i would also recommend having a hand saw in case the wood was cut too large at the hardware store...you really dont want to make the trip all the way back out there. it’s good to have the exact measurements written down when you get the wood cut so there arent any mistakes, but as mentioned we messed it up somehow anyway. it works as long as the wood is secured together properly and fits inside the grids. drill holes on the outer lips and put cable ties through them to secure the grids to the floor sections.
STEP SEVEN(ramps): the ramps need to be long enough so that it isn’t too steep for the bunny to climb up, and they need to be wide enough for the bunny’s body to fit onto. we don’t want bunny to fall. we nailedd thin, rounded pieces of wood(it comes in long sticks at the hardware store, dunno what its called) at short intervals up the ramps as a sort of grip for the bunnys feet. they dont have pads at the bottom of their feet so i think this makes it easier to climb up. you will need door/gate hinges for the ramps to attach to each floor and to drill them on. i would drill the hinge to the floor part first, then attach it to the ramp. looking at the picture our cage is actually two separate cages stacked on top of each other. we plan to cut a section out of the second “floor” and add another ramp to it later. you want to do this during construction if it’s going to be one entire cage from the start.
STEP EIGHT(check your work): make sure everything is secure and attached. the finished cage should be really strong and sturdy. clean the floor sections of any wood shavings, residues or plastic from the cable ties before letting bunny in the cage. the tiles make the cage easy to clean, using a dustpan and then wiping down with an animal-safe cleaner like nature’s miracle. hopefully bunny will use the ramps and climb to the other sections of the cage. if they dont do this eventually, consider getting wider ramps or something to make them easier to get onto.
sorry i could not make the instructions more clear. let me know if you have questions! it has been several months since we built this so im fuzzy on the details and mightve forgotten something. look up “rabbit cage storage cube grids” on youtube and you might find similar projects. i got the idea from watching one of these and tried to follow it, but we had to improvise some of the details ourselves. it took three days to put together and then several weeks afterwards airing out the room when we realized we had left the cage in there to build up fumes. but jojo loves the cage now.

So, uh... that FFXV was a thing, wasn’t it?
It sure was, Bill... it sure as shit was.
So, yeah, I finally played and, just a moment ago, beat Final Fantasy XV.
I’m about to sum up my feelings on the game, many of which are shared with the general gaming community, so I might have nothing new to add at this point... But I feel strongly enough to keep writing, anyhow.
If you’re bothered by that sort of thing, scroll on.
Sometimes, in grade schools across the world, teachers feel the need to give every single child an award. Usually there’s nothing to it. Some might spring for a ribbon, others might give out trophies, and even fewer might elect to have other students create rewards for the recipients. The latter was my personal case in middle school. A boy, whose name escapes me because the entire affair was almost forgettable except for the reward, gave me the Most Potential award. Every other student made small bundles of candy or bought some small token for their reward recipient. I got... A small piece of notebook paper cut into the shape of a ribbon.
Most Potential.
I’m not sure if a more insulting award exists in the entire world.
What does this have to do with anything? I think you’re smart enough to see where I’m going.
Final Fantasy is quite possibly the franchise that made me a gamer. I played the first one the NES when I was a child, and I’m certain it was one of the first RPGs I had ever played. By middle school, when I was playing FF3 (really VI), I was knee deep in love with the genre and carving my path with a shovel made out of Blockbuster rental cases.
What I’m getting at is that my opinion on the franchise carries weight because I’m getting to be an old fart. I’ve seen the good, the bad, the ugly. I started out as Relm, and now I am becoming Cid (pick one).
When the game loads, the screen tells you that XV is for fans and first timers. My gut reaction to this was a big, fat, pessimistic, “Yeah, we’ll see.” XIII left me feeling like someone clipped my purse strings and ran off cackling into the night. Must stay on subject.... must... not... rant...
Well, I saw. I came, I saw, I conquered.
I didn’t hate it.
I didn’t love it, either. And here’s where the award comes in.
You, Final Fantasy XV, are the proud recipient of the Most Potential award. I’m even going the extra mile and writing this in a digital format rather than on notebook paper, so you can cherish it forever... as long as you have electricity.
What a hot-ass mess. Here are my beefs in broad strokes:
The combat feels sloppy. I know SE is trying desperately to get into the action RPG thing with FF because they feel like turn-based games are archaic and no one wants to play them. Fine. Whatever. That’s what made you a thing... but whatever. The problem is that they didn’t do a very good job with this. Kingdom Hearts does it amazingly well. Any Tales game puts it to shame.
Can I tell you a secret? You can laugh at me; it’s okay. I didn’t know you could just hold O to fight until I already had 80 hours on the game. Yep. I played that much just mashing O and square and warping. I spent untold minutes grinding my teeth during the Leviathan fight because nothing was happening. I kept missing an invisible quick-time event, apparently. IDK. (I researched it and others had the same problem? No clue.)
As a whole, the combat just felt very clunky and almost as if the AI was too smart. Maybe I should have played all the tutorials at the beginning. Who knows!
And magic sucked. So much suck. Friendly fire? REALLY? REALLY? THAT’S THE ROAD YOU CHOSE?
Hmm. what else.
Oh, you know how in some console RPGs, you can change the tactics in the menu to control the behavior of other characters in your party? Or you can switch who you want to play? None of that here. The other bros forget they have a spell equipped most of the time. But when they remember, you can be sure it’s when you’re in the thick of things so you can take that friendly fire. MMM Mmm. Good stuff.
Speaking of bros... the male gaze stuff was gross. They changed Ignis’ outfit so hit butt wasn’t hanging out, sure. But Cindy... the mechanic... boobs. Does not compute. Girl, get you some damn overalls so you don’t get burned.
I guess this Fantasy includes spark free machines.
So, then there’s the story. I won’t spoil what little story there is for folks that haven’t played it. I might spoil your urge to play it if you haven’t been able to yet. Sorry.
The game has some pretty amazing world-building. That’s not the same as the story, so don’t get excited. You get a general sense of history and a little bit of mythos. But it needed so much more to aid the story. People are so damned thirsty for lore that they’re theorycrafting THE FUCKING STORY for XV. It’s not in the game. They’re pulling shit out of thin air. Check Youtube, and you’ll get lost in a sea of “Ardyn’s TRUE name,” “The meaning of the true ending,” or “Eos Explained!” Yeah, okay, reeeeeeach for it.
And let’s not forget Kingsglaive and Brotherhood. Kingsglaive is a CG movie that accompanies the game. I enjoyed it. I watched it before I played the game (months before oops), because I was gifted both as a package deal. Problem is, Kingsglaive has some precious story that the game so desperately needed, it should have been IN THE GAME. And Brotherhood, the anime, should have been in the game as well. Maybe as flashbacks while camping. Yet even with both of these optional purchases, it’s still missing a truckload of substance.
Sadly, I think they tried to make up for it by putting a pace car in the game. That’s not even a cute metaphor; they really physically put in crap to slow you down. There’s a stamina bar for running, there’s a stamina bar on chocobos, and the Regalia has a set speed it cannot exceed (unless you get parts like the turbocharger several hours into the game). You can fast travel to your car, and you can get in your car and sometimes fast travel to quests or destinations (which, after chapter 13 seemed to be much more frequent unless I’m imagining it). However, sometimes you are forced to sit through minutes and minutes of scenic driving. And even that gets interrupted by a certain bro with a camera fetish. It felt very forced, and I fast traveled everywhere when given the opportunity. I somehow still wound up with 100+ hours on the game. Curse you, gambling and fishing.
The DLC episodes for each bro could have provided the game with a little more substance, too, but SE decided to nickel and dime their patrons for those. It’s becoming a trend that I hate. It’s like selling a jigsaw puzzle and then charging extra for 2-3 pieces that would complete the picture. Fuck a bunch of that.
Another thing that I felt was intentionally annoying stretched out: maps. Lestallam, or however you spell it, was laid out like a street gang’s fantasy. Lots of dead ends, terrible mini-map... just... please.. where’s my car... why is the big market tucked into the ass end of of Satan’s colon instead of on the main circuit WHERE A MARKET BELONGS?
My final Final Fantasy XV beef: TIME TRAVELING! choo choo all aboard the-woops-we-can’t-fix-this-shit train. No, there isn’t actual time-traveling in the game. Not really. Beyond a certain chapter, there is no way to return to Altissia or Lucis. SE handled this the way a dog does when it has a dingleberry. They dragged their ass on the floor until... no, no, I kid. They put in a menu that let’s you zip back to those two places without any explanation. You can do quests and hunts and get exp and items. Then, you can zip back to the “present” with all of those rewards. Hahahaha makes perfect sense, right? Riiiiiight? lolno.
It’s not part of the canon. You’re not dreaming or having a flashback or pulling an Assassin’s creed. They just added it in because otherwise you could plow through several chapters with no way of going back. It would be impossible to go back to those places (for lolstory reasons). They put in a point of no return and then were like, “Just kidding?”
Imagine if in VI you could play all the way to Kefka’s Tower and then, with zero explanation, a save point gives you the option to return to the World of Balance. Bit of a head-scratcher, eh?
They had to do it, though. Remember that substance thing? A lot of it comes from the sparse side quests, fishing, hunting, optional junk-getting. If you’re not interested in any of that, you could skip returning to the “past” altogether.
It had a lot of potential. Unlike a person getting that award, it doesn’t get a chance to better itself. They continue to drop patches on it but nothing that can fix the story.
I’m not sorry I played it. I did put 100+ hours on it, after all. I liked the characters (even if Noctis appears to grow into a Caucasian man and his eyes change color... um... what?). I liked the world. It needed a lot more fine-tuning and character development, though. As I said to a few people already: it felt like a love letter to Final Fantasy rather than an actual Final Fantasy game.
It sort of suffered that same thing XIII did with FF mythos being tacked on but not nearly as badly. Throw in some chocobos. Bitches love chocobos. And a moogle. Just the one; don’t get carried away.
Bravely Default was a damn good Final Fantasy game (if you can get over the repetition) and it wasn’t even a FINAL FANTASY GAME.
Yeah, I’ll shutup now.

Update nevermind figured it out YEET hope you have a good day/night! I would like to know how you're enjoying the show though!
Woops, sorry I was so late in answering. I hadn’t opened my Tumblr since last night.
I watched the first season last week, after having watched some Tarlos clips on YouTube first. But I got so intrigued by the clips that I decided to watch the whole thing. And I really liked it. It’s not a perfect show, but then, what show is? But it’s good entertainment, and there’s a lot of diversity in the characters. Which is nice to see on tv. So yeah, I can recommend watching it! I’m looking forward to a second season.
Thank you very much. My day was really good actually, until I got the sad news that my great-aunt has passed away in her sleep last night. So yeah, that makes me sad, obviously. I’m just gonna try and distract myself from it by browsing Tumblr tonight. Since I can’t even go and be with my mom right now, because of the whole COVID19 situation. ;_____;
I hope you have a nice day/night, dear anon. Stay safe.

My Review of The Summer Set Festival (1/2)
You know, as a 32-year old man, I don’t really feel like I’m all that old. I’m hip, I still have that old devil-may-care attitude, I’m in pretty good shape, I play video games and don’t have many responsibilities. I love music, and I certainly feel that I’m more than open listening to new music and giving it an honest shot.
Then I started my security job at a Minneapolis bar called Psycho Suzi’s and got to know (and befriend) many people in their early 20s. Now, I’ve now come to realize that I don’t know shit. One such coworker recently posted the flyer for Summer Set (a local EDM festival), and only three names sounded familiar to me: Run the Jewels, Die Antwoord, and Zeds Dead—and that last one was only because it’s a Pulp Fiction quote.
So, as an attempt to fit in with these wacky youths, I’ve decided to listen to one song by each band (group) in the order it was written on the flyer and post my initial thoughts on each. It’s like a stream of conscience from hell. Let’s see how this one goes.
Zeds Dead - Frontlines (ft. GG Magree): This girl’s voice is okay, but musically who gives a shit? Oh, never mind; now it’s turned into a goddamn dubstep song. What in the holy fuck have I gotten myself into? It would be a lot cooler if this featured G.G. Allin — and I really hate G.G. Allin
Zedd – Clarity (ft. Foxes): This song sounds like every song played at my gym. It’s fine. I probably would have liked it in, like, 2001 when I went through a bullshit Paul Oakenfold phase. Do you think this guy has a beef with that Zeds Dead group? I guess that would make this festival kinda neat to see how they hash that shit out.
GRiZ – Hard Times: I’m really hoping this is about Dusty Rhodes, but I think I need to get that out of my head right away. This song starts off kinda cool, like a hip hop version of a Reservoir Dogs-type movie intro. Oh, now the dumb bullshit dubstep kicked in and ruined it — should have figured that nothing stays gold in the context of this miserablelittle adventure I’m on. Also, watching this video, you need to understand this this dude is the most stereotypical white guy trying to be a hip hop DJ. It’s like if Edward Snowden put on a hockey jersey and shitty glasses.
Run the Jewels – Run the Jewels: I’ve heard this before. These guys are cool. But then again, I’m a white guy who casually listens to NPR, so of course I like Run the Jewels. My only problem with this song is that I think only Angel Witch and Minor Threat should have titular songs.
Die Antwoord – Ugly Boy: I don’t know how two people can look so much like juggalos but not be lumped into that group. Instead they’re like the best thing to happen to graphic designers since the Adobe Creative Suite. I used to really like these guys but, then again, I used to be really fucking stupid.
RL Grime – Core: This is building up to something that I’m probably gonna hate. Not to be a self-fulfilling prophecy, but holy shit was I right. It has buildups that I felt like will have a significant payoff, but then it just does fucking nothing. It’s like audio edging. For fuck’s sake, this song goes nowhere. Well, at least I can say that I also really hate their name.
Datsik – Redemption (ft. Excision): Oh great, I found the official background music to every YouTube vape video. When they inevitably remake the Matrix movies, I fear this is all they’re going to sound like. The track says it features another artist, but the only thing I can hear is some random audio clips. But then I did some research to find out it took TWO separate DJs to make this bullshit.
Post Malone – White Iverson: First of all, this guy needs to land on his basketball references. Second of all, this video has 276,473,194 views—a number I wish I were joking about. This song just sounds like every other modern hip hop song, minimal beat and some dude inaudibly saying dumb shit without a rhyme. Now that I’ve established how milquetoast this song is, I’d really like to comment on how this guy looks. He’s the missing link from Riff Raff and James Franco’s character in Spring Breakers. Seriously, if they were to make a reboot of Malibu’s Most Wanted, casting had better snatch this honkey up QUICK! He seems like an exaggeration of someone trying to appropriate black culture, and it’s heartbreaking no one is calling him on this shit. I can’t wait until we’re in a time of post-Post Malone.
Seven Lions – Worlds Apart (feat. Kerli): Honestly, this starts out okay. Kerli has a pretty voice, the electronic beat isn’t overbearing and the video features bloated images of outer space that you’d probably find on the wall of a “worldly” teenage stoner. I’ve heard way worse. Granted, this could also be my old “techno” fan coming out. There’s a middle dubsteppy part that I could do without, but whatever. Yeah, I didn’t mind this one.
Zomboy – Like A Bitch: Right from the get-go I’m told to, “stop acting like a (woop) and get my hands up.” Here’s the deal, Zomboy: you only get one chance to make a first impression. And you insulting me for not doing what you want isn’t going to make friends with anyone. So, no, I won’t stop acting like a bitch. The mere fact that you keep repeating it, isn’t going to motivate me to do it any faster—if at all. With that said, musically, this also sucks.
Audien – Something Better (ft. Lady Antebellum): Hey! This has a structure of a legit pop song! I don’t know if this project has been beating me down, or if this is actually decent. Don’t get me wrong, it has the really annoying electronic hooks that most modern music has, but compared to some of the garbage I’ve already put in my ears, it’s pretty alright.
Bakermat – One Day: Man, what a progressive song. Nothing says, “heartstring cash grab” better than mixing samples of MLK’s “I Have A Dream” speech and sexy saxophone with generic dancy electronic beats. It honestly sounds like the backing beats to Marky Mark’s “Good Vibrations.” Oh well, at least it was short.
Big Wild – Aftergold: This song sounds like it was tailor-made to be used in the opening narrative of an “inspirational” teen movie. Imagine an opening shot of an urban high school with the main character doing a voice over explaining his life and school, now think of the music that is playing in the background. Yeah, you’ve got it. It’s light and floaty with an array of unique instruments (strings, Taiko drums, etc.) and then sample in some record scratches and electronic noise and that’s it. It’s not offensive. It’s not anything. It’s just a thing.
Bleep Bloop – Slippin: Before I start, I want you to know that it was THIS band that made me venture into this masochistic assignment. It all started when a group of younger coworkers posted the flyer for this festival on social media and expressed their sincere excitement. Now, being the complete asshole I am, decided to shit all over their good time by stating that it sounds like the worst time imaginable. (I was essentially being facetious because I really don’t care what they listen to. But for the record: I’m right). Anyway, after skimming through the names, my eyes caught the name “Bleep Bloop” and everything in me laughed and cried all at the same time. I voiced my opinion about this band without ever hearing them, stating that this just sounds like a generic EDM placeholder until these assholes can figure out something dumber to call themselves.
Cut to a few days later. It’s a Saturday and once we were finished closing up, I decided to invite some coworkers over for drinks. While everyone is over, I take it upon myself to throw on a record that I figured would appeal to many. So I put on my copy of T-Swift’s 1989 (it’s solid pop-gold, fight me). I throw on the record, and it’s mostly well received. At this moment, the person I was giving shit to about Bleep Bloop made his opinion heard by stating that he can’t believe that I would listen to/enjoy 1989, but refuse to open myself up to Bleep Bloop. Now once he said “Bleep Bloop” out loud, I couldn’t help by throw myself into maniacal laughter. I mean, just think about how goddamn stupid that sounds. Imagine your favorite band of all time. Then imagine their name is fucking Bleep Bloop. Now try and defend that band to someone who hasn’t heard them before. It turns into the biggest, most useless uphill battle you’ve ever waged upon someone else. It’s also just really funny for the other person, if you’re dead serious about them.
Okay, now that I’ve got the backstory of this shit-ass band, it’s time to dive into the music.
This is just a series of dumb sound effects. It honestly sounds like it was created on the Playstation version of MTV Music Generator. Then they have remixed versions of a guy saying the same damn thing. It’s seriously giving me a headache. I don’t know why anyone would want to listen to this for enjoyment. It’s really fucking confusing. All in all, it’s exactly what I expected out of a band named Bleep Bloop.
Destructo – Higher: Have you ever seen an action movie from the late 90’s/early 00’s where the protagonist has to kill a mafia boss in the middle of a douchey club? You know, those scenes where in which shit really escalates into a full-blown gun fight and the fire alarm goes off making everything wet creating a unique aesthetic? Yeah, this is the shitty music playing at the beginning of the scene that lets the viewer know that the location really sucks. The video is blatantly alluding to straight-up heroin/sex addiction—it’s pretty glamorous. And then she dies at the end from a broken heart while some guy repeats, “get higher, baby.” All in all, better than other stuff already reviewed on this godforsaken list.
Ghastly – We Might Fall (ft. Matthew Koma): This video started out by saying “Dubstep Electro House” which is weird because I can almost guarantee it should just say “whiny dude singing over bullshit.” It started off slow with dumb vocals, then it slowly built up to a techno climax (which is also a medical term for when you ejaculate lasers) with a high-pitched autotune. And then it repeats. Whatever, it sucks, but it’s fine.
Well folks, that’s it for the first half. I’m currently waiting on edits for the second. I’m sure you’re waiting with baited breath. Trust me, it fucking sucks.
