The snarl Sonny made echoed down the mouth of the cave, his fur bristling in warning.

"I don't owe you an explanation!"

He made the effort to return to bipedal posturing, and combed through his mane in an unconscious attempt to self-soothe.

"Why the hell would I tell you, anyways? I just know you're scheming with that orange bastard on the side. It's a given."

His claws clenched, yearning to dig into flesh. He wanted to continue his raving - to threaten the coming of his grand new laboratory, and his plans thereafter - but fortunately kept his wits about him enough to not do that.

"You'd ruin everything. And I'm not about to have that."

The bear quickly summoned his own monitor with that last utterance, a digit hesitating over the block command. Everything in him told him to block this thorn in his side from seeing OR speaking to him ever again, and yet he felt just as strongly that he wasn't ready for this fire to end. He'd never admit it even to himself - the way the anger charged him up, motivated him more than ever.

He needed to maintain a direct line to the other side, he told himself. A partial ban would serve that purpose well without compromising his mission, he justified. But in truth...
