ImpComm is a dumpster fire but this is a really good moment #and I love Ordo first expressed discontent with the kind of life he'd have as a deserter back in True Colors (over two years before this)#and then he never really came to terms with what it would mean #and his first instinct is still that he isn't going to be happy with this specific kind of life he has #Death warrant on his head. Always looking over his shoulder. Plagued by anxiety and fear. Never truly properly free and unburdened.#And Ordo never expresses the kind of life he wants for himself but here he expresses 'This isn't it.'#And he knows things won't work out because the things he's concerned with just CAN'T #and Ordo is unhappy. He makes the conscious decision to TRY to be happy. But this just reveals certain discontentments.#And the crux of it is that he is still living a burdened life full of fear and anxiety. He still isn't properly living a free life.#And poor dear
