I haven’t really rated the animes I’m fixated on but I think Kikaider is really my second favorite anime with getter being first-Getter will ALWAYS be my favorite only for ryoma and just insanity-there’s just so many things about it that TICKLES my brain perfectly.

The art style, the themes, the characters, even with the flaws of mainly 01 it fascinates me and of course this series being a very huge inspiration for mega man which is made clear in the anime. (Casshern gets points for that too ofc, but since sins changed a lot from the original not all of what it inspired is present, where as the Kikaider anime is so faithful to the manga that you DIRECTLY see what it pulls from)

But the only issue stumping me now about it is “oh Kikaider isn’t that dead of a fandom compared to casshern or jeeg but it requires to go so deep down the Toku rabbit hole and most people are gonna care more for the live action than the anime” because I’m ALWAYS cursed like this
