What if your favorite song only makes it worse ?

Like, I've been listening to 'Rock 'n' Roll Children' by Dio and I think it really could hit close to home for an Eddie Munson who ran away from home, and has been treated like a pariah ever since. What if he spends his years before knowing the hellfire guys dreaming of a sibling who would understand him and when he hears the song for the 1st time in '85 he just cries ?

So when he gets vecna-ed, the party plays that song, because it's the one he wrote down as his favorite, what would happen if it's just the song that reminds him of the worst time of his life?

In practice I know it doesn't make that much sense : Max's song is just the same and it saved her anyway, but it could be an idea angst fic.
