as someone who sat outside and watched my childhood home burn to the ground, and then a few short years later watched as what looked like snow blanketed my backyard, but was in fact ash from the total devastation of the Camp Fire essentially wiping Paradise off the map and killing 85 people, the news coverage of the SoCal wildfires is pretty much unbearable for me to watch.

please know there are more than just 'rich celebrities' who will be affected by this. this is more than just movie stars losing their 3rd home. by and large this is average, everyday working class people who will lose pretty much everything. not to mention the unhoused people this will affect.
