It is astounding how little urgency my brain has for doing anything up to and including basic physical maintenance tasks but if I go like three weeks without writing it throws a whole ass hissy fit and acts like I've been crawling through the desert without water for forty days.

I really just spent years generating an endless stream of good brain chemicals by making up some guys and giving them problems and arranging their problems into neat little rows of text, and it shows.

#this is Not a request for solutions I just need to take my meds and have some breakfast #it will not fix the underlying problem that all of my executive functions were tied to a single nonessential task by years of repetition #but yanno. it'll make me mildly more functional today so that's cool.#if you have ever been like 'gee megs how do you write so much!' it is because if I do not I will die.#like a shark always having to keep swimming forward.#(I think that might be a myth but I do not recall. my shark facts are failing me this morning.)#and I have to go write some abstract planar shenanigans before I do anything else and that's hard ;-;
