My secret, fifth option: In any order, but also by type.
I take three pills each morning, two of which are identical multivitamins (taking two of them is one dose.) The third is a big vitamin C pill.
I will take them multivitamins first or C first, but I always take the two multivitamins in a row, no multi-C-multi.
There is no reason.
They're all going into my stomach, anyway.
In my mind, though, the multivitamins should be taken "together" since they're two parts of one dose.
What order do you take pills in?

I have taken two ibuprofen together in one gulp for years#and last year when I was in the hospital the nurses would bring me painkillers in the little cup#and I found I could easily just dump all 4-5 pills from those into my mouth and swallow them all in one go#yet at home I take one pill at a time for the vitamins#it's a mystery
