I rarely post anything else other then Arslan Senki on this blog and only mention other manga/media here and there but I have never talked about my favourit manhwa of all time!

And I really need other people to read and talk with me about it because nobody I know irl have read it and it is not really popular so there isn't much discours online (╥﹏╥).

The manhwa I am talking about is:

If you like stories in an post-apocalyptic world and zombies - this is for you. The manhwa conclued last year with 85 chapters and three seasons, was drawn by Kim Dazzi (also on Instagram if you want to see more bonus art) and published via Webtoon.

Summary from Bato:

In the near future, the world is a desolate place occupied by the undead. Strange crystals emit a deadly zombie virus as the last remnants of humanity struggle to avoid infection and survive. Despite all this, life is relatively peaceful for young Ruby, who lives in the Amina Safe Zone with her father and a small band of other survivors. All of this changes when Ruby encounters Arvan, a white-haired young man with pale skin and no heartbeat. This meeting sets off a series of events that force Ruby and her father to embark on a journey to discover the truth.

My propaganda:

The art is gergoues - especially the backgrounds. The designs are immaculate and the snowy landscape contrast so well with the pop of colours from the crystals. Said environment also fits the story like a glove. It gives it this airy and cold mystery feeling. Now to the story. It isn't something we haven't seen before but it still feels so fresh not only due to the cold environment (I am sorry...) but because of the characters! The youngest in the cast is Ruby, who is fifteen. The rest of the characters are between late thirties to early fourties. The oldest is 65 years old! And she acts like a teenager so do be warned if you do not like that. I did not inclued Arvan as there is not a lot we know about him but I guess he is around Rubys age. The relationships between the characters are so versatile! Like Ruby does not behave the same in front Rovan as she does with her dad (extreme case) or with another older father-like figure like Pasco. Same goes for her father, bevrian. He treats Ruby and Arvan slightly different. He also interactes with other adult characters differently in context of their situations! Like, he treats everyone with kindness but there is still a difference if they are or were from the Amina safe zone or from outside that.

Only points off are that it ends so abruptly and that there were so many things that still could have been explored. For example the lifes of the adults in the Amina safe zone before the apocolyps or during. The (full) story on why Rovan got banished. More on Arvan and his backstory. But the manhwa is just too short to have told all these stories and Kim Dazzi was the only one working on the manhwa (it is their debute manhwa after all) so there wasn't much they could do.

Another thing I noticed while writing this is why I like Albrecht von Nürnberg from A Stepmother's Märchen so much. It is because he and Bevrian (Rubys dad) look very similar and Bevrian is my favourit in Tacit.

Just a rant about Travis mischaracterization in sally face (salvis) fanfiction (Please don't take this post too seriously if you are a fanfiction writer I love you and we should just get married <33)

This is mainly about salvis (sal x travis) fanfiction btw and it kinda goes along with a post I made talking about how the fandom treats Travis and I am gonna make a post about the mischaracterization of sal soon as well (I know I am spelling so many words wrong lmao) BEGINNING OF RANT: Why do so many fanfic writers make travis some uwu shy boy?!?!?! I feel like Travis wouldnt be "Shy" when he is trying to be nice I feel like he would just sound agressive when he speaks if that makes sense. Idk why everyone just got the idea that Travis (after the bathroom scene in episode three) would just become shy or quiet. Like he was loud and not shy when he was bullying sal but all of a sudden he become shy and anxious?!?! that makes no sense to me. Also I am not trying to say that you cant write travis like this because in reality he was only in the game for like a few minutes but idk its just something that bugs me for some reason. I dont really care if you see travis like this btw live your truth king (or queen or wtv idrk) I am just saying in most salvis fics I have read travis is always just so....not travis lol. Btw I am not trying to shit on any persons writing because I do see a lot of this mischaracerization (idk if I can even call it that tbh but I cant really think of any other word for it) in peoples writing and I dont wan it to look like I am shitting on their work. I am not a writer but I do know that commiting to writing an entire work based off of one of your intrests takes talent and dedication so I am not trying to sound rude to any of those people because I respect them a lot, I just think it is weird how people see travis after the bathroom scene because when I first played the game I thought he would probably just be more nice ig. But still be pretty aggresive or rude lol. Its kinda hard to explain how I see travis acting but it definitly isnt like how I see everyone else portraying him so I just thought I would share. OK OK OK SO MY BRAIN HAS BEEN GOING INSANE ABOUT AMICUS CURIAE SO I NEED TO RAMBLE ABOUT IT!!!!

OK SO. The main conflict am i right

Right now we are in a fluff sweet spot where most of the teams are on friendly terms and the main 6 aren't in conflict. However considering what the author has posted to their TD blog recently, it's definitly not staying that way.

Hell even in the current chapters it's probably not staying that way, considering Courtney's 100% caught on that there's something going on between Noah and Alejandro, and in return Alejandro's detected Courtney's crush for Emma.

So yeah! Im predicting that's gonna be the cause of the big rift that happends between the best friends; both of their feelings are going to get in the way of the win eventually in a big way. Maybe Courtney will get distracted by Emma or Alejandro's going to try to keep the Pros in the game in a way that handicaps the Best Friends for the challenge, and it'll blow up in their face, and past events are gonna be brought up and they're gonna get HURT.

I think Courtney's main reasons for being annoyed at Alejandro and Noah's friendship (outside of Courtney would like to win thanks) is her wanting Alejandro to not get hurt; Noah's already betrayed him (from his perspective), she wouldn't want him getting stabbed in the back again. I dout he'd do that, but Courtney doesn't know that!

Also whenever she'll figure out it's romantic, she's certaintly going to discourage Alejandro to go for it during the show. Dating on Reality TV is not a good idea, they both have negative experiences with it, Courtney especially. Neither would want to go through that again, so conflict arising from it makes sense.

Also also, Courtney might be afraid of losing Alejandro,,, she's lost friends due to relationship drama in the past, hell she's still struggling with the after-effects of her trust being broken so many times. So seeing Alejandro be genuine with someone else? Yeah she's not gonna react well. Im basing this off the line "Alejandro's supposed to only be genuine with her" Because it says ALOT. To me.

This is 100% aromantic projection hour but Societytm constantly pushes romantic relationships as more important than platonic ones, an impression reinforced in media and especially tabloids - Courtney and Alejandro have already been mistaken for a couple in this fic by one of the main characters due to their closeness - so i wouldn't be shocked if either had internalised this and fears losing their one actual friend because they're crushing on someone else.

I don't think Alejandro's expressed much derision for Courtney's crush on Emma yet? So im not sure the conflict on his end would come from that. I think his main issue is trying to push himself too much out of a sense of obligation to be performing at his best all the time (especially now at the final 8 teams and non elimination rounds being pretty random so far) + his guilt over previous performances in challenges. It's 100% going to bite him or Courtney (because i dout she doesn't have similar over working tendencies) in the ass in a MAJOR way in an upcoming challenge. That and their respective competitiveness is probably gonna hurt them in a major way.

FINAL NOTE: I have no fucking clue how this can happen if the final POV's not Courtney but it would be so fucking cool if the closing lines of Amicus Curiae were a parallel to the "This is a terrible idea" that Courtney kept repeating in chapter 1, you know bring it full circle and stuff.

I was somewhat right about Daisy, bu I was very wrong about Sasha.

It almost feels to say to assume that the therapist is part of the web but like she definitly is thought because the episode established both that the web likes to be tricky and that that have a working relationship whit the institute and I would be disappointed if they were for the eye so. The timing is to close.

And I love Daisy and jon being friends . Yes, tell each other what you need to hear Daisy in a soft sense that she's still important and jon to quit feeling sorry for himself

Also any doubt I had as to werether or not the eye ritual will happen has just been wiped it's deffinitly gonna happen also Elias/ Jonah deffinitly knows how to stop all of the rituals and he's just a fcking badtard he deffinitly knows relatively what they are and he dam well knows who put the information so they are able to be done better.
