#yes I just saw my fair lady yes I have feelings about it#the guy playing Professor Higgins was absolutely INCREDIBLE and I’ll never recover#I don’t even know how to describe how perfect he was#there was this bit before the ball where pickerington asks him if he’ll take any gin to calm his nerves and he says that no he’ll be fine#and pickerington was like ‘I’ve never heard of a man who didn’t need gin to calm the nerves’#but then Eliza walks in in her dress and looks absolutely stunning#and Higgins just kinda FREEZES. and then pickerington tells her she looks beautiful and then Higgins finally says ‘hmm. not bad.’#and then walks over to the desk while no one is looking pours himself a glass of gin and knocks it back in one swallow#no idea if that’s in the script but 10/10#also Freddy was very very cute love that lad#as I’ve mentioned before I do in fact have feelings about ‘on the street where you live’#my fair lady
