was thinking about ofmd s2 and it would be very fun on the show if a different couple got intense, melodramatic scenes while stede and ed awkwardly work together while pretending they’re soooooo totally over each other because they’ve each assumed the other one isn’t into them and are both shit at talking it through.

like I am imagining Jim escaping Ed’s ship, assuming Olu is dead, and going on a grief stricken revenge quest across the Caribbean while Olu tries to hunt them down.

and ed and stede are just like… bickering in the background until someone tells them to just kiss each other about it and they’re like “first of all how dare you”
