This has been scratching at my brain for the past days but yes. holy fuck. Natlie is so Actaeon coded it is unreal.

Euripides has this said about him in Bacchae (aka, the play where the Theban women tear Pentheus apart. Helloooooo Doomcoming and Jackie feast paralels??):

"Look at Actaeon's wretched fate who by the man-eating hounds he had raised, was torn apart, better at hunting than Artemis he had boasted to be, in the meadows."

Is this not what happened in "Old Wounds"? Putting the divine hunter against the worldly one? Nat against Lottie in a contest, Lottie's wilderness making prey out of Nat in "It Chooses" where she is hunted by those she trusted (the team/the hounds).
