the thing is that I genuinely enjoy bonkers ideas when done well
#dracula with a gun is something that can appeal to me on a deep and personal level#as is jason todd being resurrected via universe punching#and yj saving earth by playing baseball with aliens#as long as you commit to the bit and don't undercut your own concept#it can be extremely fun#I don't think I could ever write like that but I enjoy reading and watching bonkers stories#listen if Odysseus can wiggle his way out of the cyclop's grasp#and Cúchulainn can have his eyeballs fall out and limbs turn backward and then the next day#he's back to having three different colors of hair and nine pupils#and Merlin can just stick a sword in a rock for years#and Gilgamesh can T pose his way across that river#I think we should let our stories be a little bonkers again. as a treat
