why did no one tell me that cephalopods have larvae. this changes everything.
#homestuck trolls as being “simplicifications” of the eldritch beings (aka adult squiddles) that played the session that created their univer#se and then they become the horrorterrors of the furthest ring#and trolls main cephalopod feature being their tentacle bulge (which is completely fanon but i like it for analysis purposes especially#since canon doesnt give us a better option)#and ALSO larvae. which i think could be used to further hcs about troll lifecycles#especially with the unique paralarvae that squids and octopi have#although trolls seem to be specifically cuttlefish themed (what with gl'bgol'yb or wherever the 's go and feferi and also like. cthulu#though to be fair i only know cthulu as a cuttlefish from phallus in wonderland so he might not be#been meaning to read lovecraft#and um. i cant find an answer to the question of if cuttlefish have a paralarval stage like octopi and squids#homestuck#this has enough thoughts that it can go in the main tag whatever#read my tags bitches
