i love being so goddamn neurodivergent about my career i love getting an email from someone i admire that i'm networking with and legit having to sit on the floor stimming for a solid minute before i can actually read the email and respond like a normal professional and yes i mean this one hundred percent unironically. turning my hyperfixation into a career is the best decision i've ever made and it's not making me any less neurodivergent about it. and now it's time to flap my hands for a solid minute again

im love my comedy found families. i really said "hey i'm gonna collect as manyy uncles as possible just by bein a comedy nerd" and then did that so many times
#this is about paul bellini and scott thompson and bruce mcculloch#(BRUCE ZOOM PART 3 TOMORROW!!!)#and also kevin mcdonaled (he hasnt met me yet but he will in july)#but it's also about my hometown improv troupe that i joined when i was barely 16#even tho all the members were like 30+#but the leader of the troupe immediately was like ''holy shit someone needs to mentor this kid they could be great''#so i got to be the youngest person ever let into the troupe and even tho i'm not living in my hometown anymore#i still perform with them whenever i'm back in town. so theyve like watched me grow up!!! which is so cool!!!!#and i was able to pave the way for two current-teenagers in the troupe who might not have gotten the chance if i hadn't done it first!!#and one of them is a trans girl and she's funny as hell!!!#and even tho i'm not the ''kid'' of the troupe anymore the troupe leader is still like another dad to me and always tells me how proud he i#like i had a show tonight that i honestly killed in and he was hyping me up so much it was so sweet#ngl i'm like. how steven universe collects moms. that's me except with comedy dads
