Alenoah Relationship Headcanons

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

• Alejandro has like a bazillion pet names for Noah and they all have different meanings/context:

Mi amor (my love)- most common but especially in front of Alejandro's family and said in a more smug manner in front of José

Mi vida (my life) - when he's particularly emotional, usually on holidays

Bebé (baby/sweetheart) - another common one. Used most in greeting Noah, whether it's over the phone or Alejandro just got home from class.

Media naranja (my half orange) - when he's in trouble and trying to talk his way out of it.

Mi Rey (my king) - when he's being clingy or feels like Noah needs to be worshipped.

Cariño (honey) - another greeting for Noah, used more when they are around their friends or people in general.

Mi Pequeño Zorro ( My Little Fox) - when Noah is being clever or smart.

Etc.

• Noah had pet names for Alejandro, too, just not as much.

Babe - most common and used most around friends and family

Hot Stuff - it makes Alejandro laugh

En anbe (My love) - when Noah is feeling sappy

Anbin (Beloved) - when Noah is being particularly affectionate and used around his family.

Eel - when Alejandro is being mischievous and Noah needs to humble him.

Mi Sol - when he's in trouble and trying to talk himself out of it.

• Alejandro used to sleep on top of the comforter until he realized it was not ideal for cuddling with Noah. He ends up kicking it off of himself in the middle of the night, but that's fine. He gets to wake up with Noah in a blanket cocoon in his arms.

• Noah has a collection of blankets. They have a whole hallway closet dedicated to them. But they keep his weighted blankets in their room.

• They have three dogs and one cat.

Nana is their oldest dog. She is Noah's childhood dog as we all may know and she is a golden retriever.

Oakley is one of Nana's puppies that Noah and Alejandro kept.

Kesari, a chow chow puppy that Noah picked out from a litter that a neighbor of Owen had. Owen, Izzy, Eva, and Alejandro also picked their own puppies from said litter. Owen thought it would be fun to name their puppies after food, so Noah chose Kesari.

Leo, Alejandro's chow chow. He did not stick to the theme. He chose the name because his precious baby looks like a little lion.

(Owen's chow chow is named Mashed Potato, Izzy's is named Cranachan, and Eva's is named Goulash)

And Bee (Bruja Jr., named after Alejandro's grandma's old cat) their one cat, which is a grey tuxedo American short-hair cat.

• They don't live on campus for school as they both are renting a house together because of all their pets, but they do plan on buying a house close to Noah's family.

• They have a chore board so they don't get into a fight about who's turn it was to do what and so on. Noah bought gold stars specifically for Alejandro and when he gets something done.

• Alejandro's love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch, but he also loves showing his love with gifts!

• Noah's love languages are quality time and acts of service! He gets really flustered when Alejandro buys him things.

• Valentine's Day is Alejandro's favorite holiday. He always plans a whole day with Noah. Whether it be elaborate like a scavenger hunt for Noah to do that leads to a dinner under the stars or something more low-key like making a picnic in their backyard and setting up a projection screen so he and Noah can have a movie marathon. If Noah wants to surprise Alejandro on Valentine's Day, he really can't because he has to tell Alejandro he's planning something so his boyfriend won't plan anything.

• Alejandro is the morning person, so he's the one who makes their coffee in the morning along with some breakfast.

• Noah tends to make dinner if they don't order out.

• Noah isn't that great at expressing himself in words, but he shows his love with kisses on the cheek in the quiet moments, or writing Alejandro notes that he sneaks into the other's lunch or jacket pocket. Just little things. He's trying to be better about expressing his love in words, though, because he knows one of Alejandro's love languages is words of affirmation.

• They are definitely that couple that slow dances in their kitchen to the radio or whatever love song is stuck in Alejandro's head. It is the epitome of intimacy and romance to Alejandro. Noah jokingly pretended he would rather be doing anything else but with his head resting on Alejandro's chest and the gentle swaying from side to side makes him feel so safe and loved.

• This moment will always be interrupted by their fur babies.

• They have petty squabbles and debates about so many things. People who just meet them always think they are that couple that is so close to breaking up, but those close to them know that the arguments and debates are fun to the two. And sometimes basically foreplay.

• If they are out and about and Noah is tired, Alejandro will just pick him up and carry him, then continue with whatever they were doing. It doesn't phase their friends, but it makes strangers stare a lot.

• Alejandro definitely surprises Noah with bouquets, and the one time Noah did it back, Alejandro cried.

• Noah got Alejandro into Animal Crossing, and sometimes they have Animal Crossing dates on each other's islands even if they are sitting next to each other. Alejandro always gives Noah a rose whenever Noah visits his island or Alejandro visits his. Noah has a dedicated rose house on his island that he stores all the roses in. Or crafts rose furniture with it and puts it in the house. Because of this they both have rose beds for their main houses.

Alejandro loves that they match.

• They are super competitive in other games, though. Alejandro wasn't allowed to play video games when he was growing up because his sperm donor thought they were a waste of time, so Noah, along with his friends introduced Alejandro to them.

No surprise, he was good at them and the ones he wasn't he worked to get good at.

• Alejandro can't handle when Noah seriously flirts with him. He blushes so much and basically melts. He malfunctions, and it takes Noah laughing or giving him a kiss for Alejandro to snap out of it.

• Alejandro is definitely the more jealous of the two as Noah rarely gets jealous. If he sees someone who looks like they are into Alejandro, he just kind of laughs and is like, "Another one bites the dust."

Alejandro gets handsy if he feels like or sees someone who is into Noah. The nicknames ramp up. The ratio of hugs and kisses increases in frequency. Noah will never admit how much he enjoys it.

ANB Drabble: Starved

Masterlist

Content: Starvation, captivity, pet whump, vampire whumpee, begging, creepy/intimate whumper, non-con touching (non-sexual).

I really wanted to hurt carlos a bit, so have this. it takes place early on in Carlos' life, when he's still not used to constant starvation and finds it harder to cope with:)

Three weeks without food should have been nothing to Carlos by now. After several instances in which he’d been deprived of blood for years before getting the privilege of sating his hunger again, he thought three weeks would be nothing. 

But as it stood right now, he was already close to breaking. It was torture. It was beyond humiliating. He couldn’t even recall the amount of times he’d been belittled for drooling when the smell got too close to him or crying when his master cruelly decided to extend the length of time in which he would go unfed at the last minute.

And without a doubt, the evenings were the worst. They were when his master would invite him into his bed just so he could wrap him up in his arms and force him to endure the constant smell of fresh blood pumping beneath his skin. It caused his stomach to ache and his mind to obsess until the thought of feeding was the only thing keeping him from passing out from exhaustion. 

He couldn’t even remember the last time he’d had a proper sleep since this nightly routine began.

“Feeling hungry yet?” Master would tease as soon as he felt the vampire attempting to subtly pull away from him. Large fingers would slip into his hair, gripping onto it so hard that Carlos couldn’t help but let out a pained noise, before dragging his head in close again. So close that his nose was nuzzled against the human’s collar, forced to take in the sweet smell with every breath he took in. 

So close, and yet so damn far.

“It hurts,” he practically whined, his voice muffled against his master’s neck. As if to demonstrate just how much, his stomach growled a moment later, loud and desperate. “I’m begging you, sir. Please. I’m in so much pain.” 

He squeezed his eyes shut as soon as the human yanked his entire body closer to him. Despite being taller, he was no match for his master. Not without food. Not with his body in such a state. All he could do was allow it to happen, even his head feeling too heavy to lift on occasions. 

“Shh, I promise it’s just a few more days,” he gently encouraged, though they both knew it was an empty promise. “At the very least, this will make you appreciate what I give you just that bit more.” 

An anguished, pained sob squeezed its way out in response. His entire body trembled, fingers weakly clinging to his master’s shirt despite how much he wanted to get away from the overwhelming smell. He was forced to use so much willpower just to avoid sinking his teeth into the flesh on his shoulder. His jaw ached from how hard he was clenching it. If he were anybody else, he’d have fed from him as he slept long ago. 

But he wasn’t. He was Carlos Emrick, a vampire who had never harmed a being superior to him and would never attempt to. So, he sat there and cried until his throat grew hoarse, long after his master had fallen asleep and left him to suffer in silence.

Intro??

Hi! My name is Draconia and this is my BokuMono Blog (TM) I like and follow from @octahyde!!

Bokumono is my all time, number one favorite series with absolutely zero exceptions. It always has been and always will be the one single most important media to me in my entire life. I got into the series in 2007 and have played almost every game since. This series is such a comfort that when I’m struggling my therapist literally prescribes me to play one of these games.

The only games I haven’t played are the GBC games (I own one of them though), 64, Back To Nature (played every ver of the mineral town games besides it), Save the Homeland/Hero of Leaf Valley (I have the latter but don’t have a good psp. Tfw. I know this makes my pfp very ironic but listen what me and Dia have is So Real.) and Sunshine Islands because I was less than fond of IoH.

I have played every other game in the series besides that! Of those, the only games I actively dislike are Pioneers of Olive Town and Island of Happiness (besides Pierre). I’m good to talk about literally any other game in the series though!!

This series is what got me to draw, write, make plushies, AND cosplay. Igusa Matsuyama to this day is my biggest artistic inspiration.

As for some more info:

My favorite games are Magical Melody, Grand Bazaar, and Trio of Towns.

Of those three, Magical Melody is my favorite. It was the first game in the series I ever played, and will always be the most special to me. No matter what. Thanks to a very cherished person in my life, I even have a disc signed by Yasuhiro Wada himself framed in my apartment. It’s probably my most prized personal, non heirloom possession.

My favorite bachelorettes are Dia, Vivi, and Agate.

My favorite bachelors are Ivan, Nadi, and Chase.

My favorite ship in the series is Jamie/Tina. Babby’s first queer ship…

My favorite crop is tea leaves. Idk if that one is random but my farms are like 95% crops and like a sheep or two so I feel like I should say it becausef I go all fucking in on crops. It’s insane how hard I go on crops dude. I like minmax crops.

I also have a beloved OC X Canon ship The YuzuWren. They have over 100 hours in my copy of 3oT. I’ll link to a post infodumping all about them when I write it!!

I also have an OC x Canon ship in SoS1 (The MistLand), but that one isn’t as special even if it’s just as developed (also they haven’t gotten married yet when The YuzuWren have. Roland’s taking it slow.) I’m also considering making an OC x Canon file in ANB for Felicia just to round out the 3DS games.

My only real DNI is please, for the love of god, do NOT bring up Stardew Valley to me or on my posts. I never have, and never will have any desire to ever play it, and I am exhausted for it being brought up every time someone discusses a series 20 years older than it. Also while minors are fine to follow here, please do not follow my main account. It’s nothing personal, I just don’t want minors on that account. Tumblr is the only social media I talk to people under 21-22 to begin with.

Other farm sims besides Stardew are okay, though! I will likely also discuss Fields of Mistria and Snacko on here! I’m also in desperate need to play Cult of the Lamb, but that’s more fitting for my main blog than here, lol.

i rly might just keep akiras canon mhyk experience in every single verse that doesnt have some of the wizards w/ them (type0, fe, etc) sorry i cant let go its too integral. i dont rmbr how harvest goddess works in anb, i know in majority shes just a rumor and even in things like ap i prob wont have akira actually see the magical beings...? but i do think theyre a lot more aware of magic around them, in a 'i thought i saw something' way rather than Actually being able to tell whats going on/the rumors are Real etc. something something traces of magic & spirits on their soul

witch princess seems rarely talked about like. ever. but shes a lot more real, so once akira catches wind of her......tries to talk to her a lot (even if it nvr goes anywhere). similarly i think theyd talk to hg's pond too. in general very attached to witches & magic. u can guess why

will very likely not actually open up about their isekai life thumbs up emoji but in heart events sense & dialogue it gets increasingly more obvious something is up

i lov anb cast visiting ur farm so akira does that a lot too. especially if u have cats or sheep. then the times they show up increase significantly. OUR cat now. sheep is cuz theyre reminded of lennox. spends the rest of their time in the areas around town writing or reading

I just want to say that I didn't have any idea about the couple pic. I wanted to put him with one of my biases but then I had a sort of illumination and I went "wait...what if I put the maknaes here?" so now you get Hwon(nie) anb Jahan together because I make the rules.

Ok, enough with the explanation about the collage, there's nothing more to add...get the letter, hehe.

Ok, I want to start with one of my anecdotes. You can't have a birthday letter without my anecdotes after all.

So I want to start by saying that, when I got into Kingdom, I didn't believe that Jahan was the maknae of the group.

Yeah, I know you're all acting surprised right now, you're probably thinking that I'm very dumb for even thinking about this. And I was it actually, because I have this habit of never checking a group's profile while I'm getting to know them and I still do it to this day! I like following the vibes, ok? And also see if I'm right at the end because I need to boost my fragile ego I think it's fun.

But I know you're still asking "but why, Teresa, don't you see that little cutie bear you put in the collage here? That's maknae behaviour 101!" And my answer would be "yeah, you're right but don't act like he likes showing it 24/7, uh?"

In fact, in my defense, the main reason why I thought he was older was because of his serious face™. You know, the one he always shows in the MVs and when he performs and when he sings (most of the time) and most of the time. You know, that one. And if you're asking "what about the deep voice?" I would say "nah, I didn't think about it" although I should have considered it, since one of my men is Changkyun and he has a deep voice and he is, indeed, the maknae in Monsta X. I'm just dumb, ok?

And apart from all of this...well, guys, I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't know more about him. Yeah, I know, I can hear your heart shattering and going into pieces and you're probably crying right now but I didn't do the homework aka watching more extra stuff with him in it.

"Oh please, this is just an excuse you're making", uhm, it actually isn't an excuse, it's the truth! See, if there's one thing that makes Jahan special is that he's...mysterious.

Ok no, he's actually very shy like the biggest introvert ever but, you know, that still makes him ✨ mysterious ✨ you need to watch some more stuff from him before getting to know him or at least grasp some little details that you might miss.

But I want to add a little thing that I noticed and that thing is the duality that Jahan shows when he plays his character in the lore versus his actual self (for the few things I saw ofc). Ot don't know if the creative director did it on purpose but his character gave me the impression to be, yes, an able calculator (after all, he did a Coup d'État 🤣), but also kind of a straight forward one? I mean, he's a character that would kill if that means going further with the plan, so...

But then you see the actual Jahan and you see a shy boy who acts awkwardly in restaurants and he refuses to do aegyo because he doesn't think he's cute and shows his shyness every time he can like...boy, how do you do that? 😭 Teach me 😭

Dear Jahan, I'm sorry, I feel like someone who failed their exams while I'm writing this letter. I probably wasn't the best candidate to do that. But I want to assure you that there's a mutual of mine who deeply loves you. I don't know if it will read the letter because the timezones will probably not timezoning when I'll post the letter but I assure you that I never saw a fan loving an idol more than it. You would probably love it if you ever met at a fansign.

My birthday wish for you is very realistic. Remember when last year you started your series where you ate in a fancy restaurant and tasted delicious food? Well...what if...what if you'll make a part two, mmmmmh? I can also give some suggestions! And if you're wondering about the money, I'll bring them through the power of magic.

NTS: the ANB!

I was really fond of abbreviating things when I was a kid. I have notebooks where Raven's mantra is written as "AMZ", dates on story writings are written like "F71906", and my files used to have just the initials of the title, like "AWoM" and "TFJ". (I was paranoid about people finding my paper writings and thought that would somehow reduce The Judgement^tm. Even though the writings themselves were mostly in fully verbose syntactical form. And everyone already knew I was obsessed with Teen Titans.)

I just peeked into a file I haven't opened in YEARS. It was still abbreviated as "ANB".

And oh my GODS! I thought I had already extracted all my story notes from the assignment notebooks I had in high school!

I have ADHD, I was diagnosed at age 7 or 8, and ever since then until the year I stopped attending a brick-and-mortar school (which was THE YEAR I GRADUATED), it was a part of my "learning plan" to make me carry around an Assignment NoteBook (ANB) that the teacher had to check every day before I left school to make sure I wrote down everything, and she'd initial it. And then my parents would check it every day when I finished my homework, and initial that I finished them. If I claimed I finished my homework in class, the teacher had to look through it to confirm it was Actually Done.

This did not solve my actual problems. (Forgetting to put a necessary textbook in my bag, leaving my homework on the desk at home, losing my pencils so I couldn't write it down, not to mention the social death sentence that going to the teacher's desk twice a day meant, though I was ostracized already anyways--but I digress.)

I'm reading back through the summaries I have of the story notes I put in those "ANB"s-- and oh my STARS, it's a TREASURE TROVE! Things I don't remember writing at ALL! Things from 2006, 2008. 2010 that would MASSIVELY expand stories I've felt were threadbare!

When I had an idea during the school day, before I got my little travel-sized notebooks, I would write them in the only available Always-With-Me notebook I had. So my assignment notebooks had the assignments in them, of course, but I'd go back to a previous day that the teachers/parents wouldn't look at, and I'd write my ideas down in the margins around those things. (Kind of a good metaphor for my life, huh? All the boring mundane stuff but I'm writing like crazy in the margins.)

I definitely need to dedicate some time to digging through my writing boxes/bag. I haven't really unpacked those since the move, and I'm not sure where those notebooks are... but I want to convert the notes to a digital format now that I write in almost exclusively a digital format. Also I have a Massive Fear of losing my writing notes in a house fire or flood, and while losing the physical copies would Devastate Me, it would be infinitely more wholly and completely devastating to lose them when there's no digital backup!

So yes. I think this weekend, time and spoon count permitting, that will be my project. Transcribe my "ANB" notes!

One Spyro Level a Month Until the Next Spyro Game Releases - Intro

First Level

Rather than putting the rules/whatever into the first entry, I'll start it here.

In December, someone on the Spyro subreddit make a joke post about shaving an eyebrow until Spyro 4 was announced. They only did one post, probably because the image they used wasn't of them and had happened quite some time before.

I saw that and was like: well, that might be fun to do an infinite countdown. See how long it takes. But I'd want to do something that isn't really a big time-sink or would hurt me in any way. Just something short and fun.

And hey, the Spyro series has a lot of levels. Mostly because it has a lot of games. Let's see how far in the series I make it before the next announcement! And to make it really low-stakes, it'll be one level a month. That way I only have to do a write-up once a month.

And I decided the best time to start this would be 2024 rather than December 2023 - Year of the Dragon is pretty significant in the Spyro franchise, as that is the year the batch of baby dragons hatches. Chances were that we'd see at least an announcement this year, right?

...Right?

Well, with Microsoft completely gutting the formerly Activision teams, including Toys for Bob, we might not be seeing Spyro anytime soon.

Which makes it a great time to start this project. Keep in mind: Spyro 1 alone has 35 levels. 1 a month from January 2024 onward means I won't be finishing the first game until November 2026. I have not calculated how long the entire series will go - but the point basically is that it should be impossible to finish, as the fun is finding out how long I go before the next one comes out.

Rules:

I will be playing one level each month and making a write-up of the experience/reviewing the level/thinking way too hard about it, etc.

Despite actually starting in February 2024, I will act as if I started in January 2024 and start with two reviews. These may be on separate days.

I will be going through the series in chronological order, playing every game I own and can play in the moment. (Disclaimer: as of writing I lost access to my PS3 so if I don't get another one or copies of those games on another system by the time the games I have it for come up, those games will be skipped)

This include GBA, DS, and 3DS games if I own them. I may or may not obtain the ones I don't own when or before they come up. In cases where the same title has different experiences on multiple systems, I will first play the console version, then the handheld versions in ascending hardware quality (example: ANB PS2, then GBA, and finally DS - assuming I get the handheld ones since I don't currently own them).

I am including the Legend of Spyro and Skylanders.

Reignited Trilogy counts separately from the original three games.

I will only play the Skylanders levels I actually have. I may or may not care enough to get Adventure Packs or elemental characters I do not already own.

If my Skylander figures do not work by the time the respective games come up, I may skip the game. Same as if I lose access to any other required hardware.

Backtracking will count separately from the original level. For example, once I obtain Climb, I will be taking three extra months to climb the ladders in Summer Forest, Glimmer, and Sunny Beach.

I will not be using glitches to skip backtracking.

When the next Spyro game releases, the project ends wherever it is.

“Can I ask you something?” 

Despite knowing he was in the room, Carlos jumped at the sound of Ryker’s voice. He peered up from the opposite side of the coffee table and subtly shifted to cover the page of his colouring book with his arms, head slightly tilted. 

“Yes, sir?” 

Ryker tilted his head back with a gentle smile. “I’ve noticed you sometimes taking notes in the back of your books, like you’re doing right now. What are they?” he asked curiously. 

For a moment, Carlos considered trying to come up with a half-baked lie as he glanced down at the dozens of quotes written in smudged pen. He didn’t know why the urge was there. It wasn’t like he had anything to hide. He supposed part of it was the fear of having it used against him if anyone else knew how important his “notes” were to him. 

Though, he knew realistically that Ryker would never do that. Ryker was kind and supportive, often encouraging the things that brought him any sense of joy or entertainment. He’d never confiscated anything from him. Never even threatened to. 

The vampire nervously tapped his pen against the wood on the table a few times before tentatively uncovering his book again. “You can read it if you like,” he whispered as he rotated it until the words were the right way up for Ryker. “I like to write down all the kind things you and Adam say to me so I can look through them on bad days. The books fill up kinda quickly, but I’ll just move on to the new sketchbook that Charlie got me when I’ve got nothing else.” 

Carlos had never really considered the possibility of his little habit making a difference to anyone else, but Ryker looked overjoyed as he read through each and every line. The writing itself was rather small and hard to read, but that didn’t seem to make a difference to the human. 

“You did a wonderful job with breakfast.” 

“You are so fucking smart. How didn’t I think of that?” 

“You’re getting better and better at this game!” 

“That sketch is beautiful.” 

The back page was almost full already after several days of logging any and all praise in it. He had two more colouring books left before he’d move on to his big one, where he’d already started practicing proper sketches. 

Ryker was all smiles when he finally pushed the book back towards him. “How long have you been doing that for?”

“I started a few days after you brought me home,” Carlos whispered. He could practically feel his face flushing bright red. It felt like someone had seen directly into his soul. “I was so scared that you were going to start hurting me, ‘n’ I wanted to remember all the positive things you had to say about me along with the bad stuff as well. That never happened, obviously, but… now I have no desire to give up the habit.” 

He shut his eyes when Ryker reached out to ruffle his hair. “Well, thank you for showing me. I’m glad you were able to find a constructive way to cope with your anxiety.” 

Carlos smiled, a fang poking out. “Me too.”
