ok whatever akira is a mean, awful person but only to people he either perceives as deserving of it or people who he believes can take it.
#it's like#if i ramble then you can kill me btw#there are exactly three different kinds of people from akira's perspective#assholes who deserve to be insulted and pushed around#(regardless of whether they're openly assholes. the reasoning is a bit iffy but he has a system for categorizing everyone)#weak people who need to be protected#and then a weird amalgamation of the two#he isn't rude and cruel indiscriminately is what i'm saying#which isn't to say he's all sunshine and rainbows with people he sees as weak#it's just that he holds back on the jabs and insults. is more patient. more understanding. keeps his big fat mouth shut for the most part#an example i use pretty frequently is shiho! especially towards the beginning of the game when akira is even more bitter and agitated than#normal.. if there was a person in his way. he'd probably snap at them and push them aside#but in shiho's case rather than that.. when she apologizes for standing in his way#he just tells her it's not a big deal#because he sees that 1) she's hurting 2) she's genuinely nice#and so in his mind.. she's weak. not necessarily a bad thing but definitely not a good thing#she's someone who he would be in the wrong to target or treat crudely and akira HATES being wrong#another example is futaba. he definitely thinks of her as weak and inferior (at first. before he has Character Development) but not really#in a way where it's like LOL i'm better than you fuck you it's like.. in a way where he feels like he's obligated to protect her#so he does!#i'll go more in depth when i get back home i'm going to outback soonbgfjkbkjdfg
