Third Person POV
Na Kamden and (Y/n) met at their agency, FNC, an agency known to have both talented idols, actors, and models. Na Kamden, the talented rapper and dancer of Ampers&one, and (Y/n), the rising model star of the fashion world. The two ran into each other at the agency’s cafeteria, Kamden turned around quickly and without knowing there was someone behind him, he accidentally knocked into the person behind him, that someone just happened to be, (Y/n).
“Oh, I’m sorry, are you okay?” Kamden asked, an embarrassed look on his face, the girl in front of him was very attractive, he thought he was dreaming because she had to be an angel. “Yeah, I’m fine, don’t worry, I guess it’s my fault too for walking so close to someone,” (Y/n) chuckled, her smile set off a thousand butterflies in Kamden, he wanted to get to know her better. “I’m Na Kamden, of Ampers&One, by the way,” He reached his hand out so that the two could shake hands. “I’m (Y/n), I’m a model,” She took his hand and they gently shook it up and down.
“It was nice meeting you, Kamden, unfortunately, I have to leave now, but I hope I’ll see you again,” (Y/n) smiled and waved at him before she hurried away to her manager, ready for her next photoshoot.
After that accident, the two kept meeting up at the agency, eventually they exchanged phone numbers, and became closer than ever. Soon enough, the two were dating. In the beginning, it was easy to hide their relationship as they rarely ever had schedules at the same places. It wasn’t until FNC was doing a special end-of-year video shoot with some of their newest talents, including (Y/n), Kamden, and some other people from the agency.
Behind the scenes it was easy, just talking like friends, or more, no one would know. “Hey, darling, how have you been? Haven’t seen you in a while,” (Y/n) gave Kamden a quick hug before someone could point a camera in their direction. “Hi, I’m good, a little tired, I just came back from Milano, so pretty jetlagged, how are you?” If anyone would pay attention then they could easily see just how in love these two are as their eyes sparkle while looking at one another, how they naturally draw one another closer, the way they lean in when the other speaks. “I’m good now that you’re here,”
A staff member called Kamden’s name, meaning the two had to separate now, before he had to leave, Kamden quickly said “I’ll come over to your place tonight,” To which, (Y/n) only nodded. A few hours later it was time for the ending shoot off the video, all the people who had participated stood lined up beside each other, (Y/n) and Kamden, had ended up beside one another, luckily they stood in the second line of people, so no one could see that they were holding hands, a secret for only the couple to know.
“This has been FNC wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year,” (Y/n) said her line, at as she finished it, Kamden gently squeezed her hand, and then he continued with his line. “We hope you all have enjoyed all the content from this year and that you are looking forward to next year's content and events!” (Y/n) moved before she could think about the consequences and she turned to look at her secret boyfriend, sparkling eyes, and lovesick smile, but she quickly turned back to face the camera, almost hoping for the director to call ‘cut’ and they would have to redo it because of her mistake. But the ‘cut’ never came, the staff was too focused on the two actors acting out their parts of the video. (Y/n) would have to hope that her action wasn’t caught on camera. But a small part of her, and Kamden, wished people knew so they wouldn’t have to love each other in secret.
Later that night, after the shoot was over, and everyone had returned home, there was a gentle knock on (Y/n)’s door, one she recognized very well. She opened the door to find her boyfriend standing there, takeout in his hands as well as a small bouquet of her favorite flowers. “Happy anniversary, my love,” He said the second she opened the door. “Happy anniversary, Kammie,” He stepped inside the apartment, the door closing behind him, (Y/n) took the flowers from his hand, smelling them, and then she reached up, kissing him on the cheek. “Thank you for the flowers,” Kamden blushed, walking over to the living room, and putting down the takeout on the table, before he turned back to (Y/n), still stunned by her beauty, just like the first day they met, he walked over, leaning down a little, and placed a loving kiss on her lips. “Thank you, for loving me, even if we have to do it in secret,”
And so the couple spent their first anniversary, in secret, just as happily as anyone else.

Third Person Pov
Jiho sat on the edge of his bed, hands fidgeting with the fabric of his jeans. The soft glow of his phone illuminated the dark room, showing a recent text from (Y/n) that read, “Can’t wait for our date tomorrow! 🥰” He smiled, feeling a warmth spread through his chest, but it was quickly overshadowed by a familiar pang of anxiety.
They’d been dating for a month now—a magical, whirlwind month. (Y/n) was everything he hadn’t realized he’d been looking for: warm, understanding, and with a laugh that seemed to brighten even the gloomiest of days. But there was a secret he’d been hiding from her, a part of himself he couldn’t keep concealed forever. She deserved honesty, yet every time he thought about telling her, his stomach twisted with worry. Would she be scared? Would she run?
“Tomorrow,” he whispered to himself, as though saying it aloud would give him the courage he needed. Jiho knew he couldn’t wait any longer. He’d already seen her worry in passing moments—like when she noticed the deep scratches on his bedroom walls or when she’d seen him vanish suddenly to “run an errand” on nights he could feel the transformation tugging at him. He wanted her to know, to understand who he truly was. But explaining he was a shifter—a creature that could turn into a cat-like form under the right circumstances—wasn’t exactly a casual conversation topic.
Running a hand through his hair, Jiho thought back to the first time he shifted, the rush of the moonlight on his skin as he felt his senses sharpen, his body taking on a new, sleek form. He hadn’t chosen this life; it was something that ran in his family, something he’d had to learn to live with. He’d come to accept it, even embrace it, but how could he make (Y/n) see it as anything other than frightening?
Maybe he’d take her somewhere quiet, somewhere they could be alone. He imagined her hand in his as they sat together under the stars, his heart pounding as he tried to find the right words. Would she laugh, brush it off as a joke? Or would she look at him with fear in her eyes, seeing him as a stranger instead of her boyfriend?
Jiho sighed, lying back against his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Tomorrow. He’d tell her tomorrow. Whatever her reaction, he’d face it. Because if there was one thing he was sure of, it was that he couldn’t keep hiding from her. She was worth the risk.
Jiho paced back and forth in his apartment, casting frequent glances at the clock on the wall. Just an hour until he’d see (Y/n). His tail—usually hidden, but out now in the privacy of his home—flicked restlessly behind him. His cat-like instincts were more heightened than usual, a mix of nerves and excitement pushing them to the surface. His ears, which he usually kept tucked away, twitched in response to every small sound in the apartment.
“Come on, Jiho. You can do this,” he muttered to himself, but his voice didn’t sound very convincing. A million “what-ifs” played through his mind. What if he lost control? What if he transformed without meaning to? What if she reacted badly? He hadn’t even thought through how he would actually tell her—what words to use, how to make it sound… less terrifying. “Oh, by the way, I’m half-cat” didn’t exactly roll off the tongue.
He let out a sigh, catching his reflection in the hallway mirror. He quickly adjusted his appearance, tucking away his ears and taking a steadying breath. Tonight, he needed to stay calm and composed, to keep himself together. He knew (Y/n) would be arriving any minute, and he wanted to be ready.
A knock at the door made him jump, his heart leaping in his chest as his instincts flared, and he forced his body to remain calm. Jiho took one last deep breath, pushed down his nerves, and opened the door, immediately greeted by (Y/n)’s bright smile.
“Hey, Jiho!” she said, wrapping her arms around him in a warm hug. He melted into her touch, feeling his worries ease—if only a little.
“Hey, (Y/n),” he murmured, his voice just a bit shaky. He pulled back, forcing a smile as he looked into her eyes, trying to remind himself why he was doing this. She looked at him with so much trust, so much warmth, that it made his heart ache. He had to tell her; he couldn’t keep pretending to be something he wasn’t.
“Are you ready to go?” she asked, her voice cheerful and relaxed. She seemed so unaware of the storm of emotions raging inside him, so blissfully unaware of the truth he was about to reveal.
“Yeah,” he said, nodding. “There’s… actually something I’d like to talk to you about tonight.” His voice was hesitant, and he hoped it didn’t give away just how nervous he felt.
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing on her lips. “You sound so serious, Jiho. Everything okay?”
He forced a laugh, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine. It’s just… something important, I guess. I’ve been meaning to tell you for a while.”
She nodded, looking a little curious but undeterred. “Alright. Whatever it is, I’m here for you.”
Her words settled over him like a gentle blanket, and he felt some of his anxiety melt away. Maybe this would be okay. Maybe she’d surprise him.
As they stepped outside together, Jiho tried to stay calm, ignoring the way his heart thudded louder with every step. Tonight, he’d tell her the truth. Whether she’d see him as a friend or foe afterward, he was determined to finally let her see the real him.
The moon cast a silver glow over the ocean, the waves whispering softly as they lapped at the shore. Jiho and (Y/n) sat close, nestled together under the thick blanket he’d brought along. The chill in the air only seemed to draw them closer, her head resting against his shoulder as she looked up at the starlit sky with a dreamy smile. He could feel her warmth against him, and he almost let out a low purr of contentment. It took all his self-control to keep that sound from escaping—it would probably raise more questions than he was prepared to answer just yet.
He reached into the picnic basket, grabbing one of the sandwiches he’d packed, mostly to have something to fidget with and distract himself. His nerves were still bubbling under the surface, but being here with her, in this peaceful setting, made everything feel a little easier.
“This is beautiful, Jiho,” (Y/n) murmured, her voice soft and warm. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with genuine happiness. “Thank you for planning all this.”
Jiho felt his cheeks warm. “It’s nothing, really. I just… wanted to spend time with you somewhere quiet.” He paused, glancing at her face, wondering if now was the right moment to bring up what was weighing on him. “Somewhere where we could talk.”
(Y/n) tilted her head, catching the hint of seriousness in his tone. She set her sandwich down, shifting to face him more fully. “Is everything alright?” she asked gently. Her hand reached out, fingers brushing his in a way that was both comforting and grounding. “You’ve been a little… distant tonight.”
He swallowed, feeling his heartbeat quicken. This was it. He had to say something, or he’d lose his courage entirely. “Yeah… there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you. I’ve been—well, I’ve been holding something back, something really important.” He took a shaky breath, his eyes drifting to the ocean. “And I… I don’t want to hide it from you anymore.”
(Y/n)’s expression softened, her eyes full of understanding and patience. “You can tell me anything, Jiho. I’m here, whatever it is.”
Hearing her say that gave him a small spark of confidence. He took her hand in his, holding it firmly, afraid that he might lose her if he didn’t hold on tightly enough. “Okay,” he began, his voice almost a whisper. “I don’t know how to say this… so I’ll just come out with it. I’m… different. I mean, I’m not… exactly human.” He felt his voice tremble as he spoke, and he cursed himself for sounding so nervous.
(Y/n)’s eyes widened, but she didn’t pull her hand away. She didn’t look afraid, just… curious, maybe a little puzzled. “Not exactly human?” she echoed, her voice soft and encouraging. “Jiho, what do you mean?”
Jiho hesitated, feeling the urge to back out, but the warmth of her hand in his gave him the strength to continue. “I’m a shifter,” he said, watching her face carefully for any sign of fear. “Sort of like… a werewolf, but not exactly. I don’t turn into a wolf or anything like that.” He let out a nervous laugh. “It’s… actually more of a cat thing.”
There was a long pause as (Y/n) processed this, her eyes searching his face. Jiho braced himself, ready for her to pull away, to laugh, or even to walk away entirely. But then, she surprised him by gently squeezing his hand, her gaze steady and calm.
“So… you can turn into a cat?” she asked, her tone carefully neutral, but he could hear the underlying wonder in her voice.
“Yes,” he said, his voice barely a whisper. “It’s… part of who I am. I can change into a form that’s… well, more cat-like. It happens sometimes when I’m stressed or… nervous.” He managed a small, wry smile. “Like now.”
She blinked, her lips curving into a small smile. “Can I… see?”
The request caught him off guard. He hadn’t expected her to want to see his other form so soon. “Are… are you sure?” he asked, his heart racing. He wanted nothing more than to show her, but he worried that it might be too much, too soon.
She nodded, her smile warm and reassuring. “I trust you, Jiho. Show me.”
Taking a deep breath, Jiho closed his eyes and let the shift happen. His body felt lighter, more agile, and he could feel his senses sharpen as his form took on the telltale signs of his feline side. When he opened his eyes again, he knew they’d taken on a slight glow, a feline gleam in the moonlight. His ears and tail were visible now, his features softened and more cat-like.
He risked a glance at (Y/n), bracing himself for whatever her reaction might be. But to his surprise—and relief—her expression was one of pure wonder.
“Wow…” she whispered, reaching out tentatively to touch his ear. “You’re… beautiful.”
Jiho felt his cheeks heat up, and this time he couldn’t stop the soft purr that escaped him. Her fingers grazed his ear, and he closed his eyes, savoring the warmth of her touch. For the first time in his life, he felt seen—completely seen—and accepted.
“Thank you,” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. “For not being afraid.”
(Y/n) smiled, her hand resting gently on his cheek. “I could never be afraid of you, Jiho. You’re still you… and I like you exactly as you are.”
He let out a shuddering breath, the last of his fears melting away. In that moment, under the starlit sky and by the gentle sound of the waves, Jiho felt at peace. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close, purring softly as he nuzzled into her shoulder. Tonight had turned out far better than he’d dared to hope.
Jiho fumbled with his keys as he unlocked the door to his apartment, feeling an unfamiliar mix of excitement and nervousness. The warmth of (Y/n)’s hand still lingered in his, grounding him as he tried to steady his racing heart. After revealing his true self on the beach, he felt a sense of liberation he hadn’t thought possible. But now, back at his apartment, with her beside him, a new kind of nervous energy bubbled up inside him.
He glanced at (Y/n) as they stepped inside, her gaze warm and inviting, filled with the same quiet wonder he’d seen in her eyes on the beach. Jiho could feel his feline instincts humming beneath the surface, responding to the intensity of the moment, and he fought to keep his tail from flicking restlessly behind him.
(Y/n) looked around, taking in the cozy surroundings, and gave him a gentle smile. “Your place feels so… you,” she said softly, her fingers grazing the collection of books and trinkets on his shelf. She looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes filled with warmth. “Thank you for sharing everything with me tonight.”
Jiho smiled shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. “I should’ve told you sooner… I was just scared, I guess. But… thank you, too. For not running away.” He felt himself relax, the nervousness fading as he looked at her. She wasn’t just here—she was looking at him like he was something to cherish.
(Y/n) stepped closer, her hand sliding along his arm until she reached his hand, her fingers lacing with his. “I wouldn’t run, Jiho. Not from you.”
Something in her voice, in the way she looked at him, made his heart flutter. He felt his ears perk up, giving away his excitement as she moved even closer, their faces mere inches apart. Her hand reached up, brushing along the edge of his ear, and he shivered at the gentle touch. His instincts took over, and he let out a soft, involuntary purr that echoed in the quiet of the apartment.
(Y/n)’s face lit up, her smile widening at the sound. “That’s so cute,” she whispered, her fingertips trailing down to his jawline. “I didn’t know you could actually purr.”
Jiho’s cheeks turned red, but he couldn’t stop the sound—it rumbled softly in his chest, reacting to her every touch. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, his fingers gently tracing circles along her back. “Only… only when I feel comfortable,” he murmured, his voice a little shy. “Or when I’m… really happy.”
They stood there for a moment, wrapped in each other’s arms, the warmth between them building with every passing second. Jiho felt his nerves start to fade, replaced by a deep sense of closeness he hadn’t expected. He wanted to savor every moment of this, to show her just how much he trusted her—how much he cared for her.
(Y/n) leaned in, her lips brushing his softly, and he felt himself melt into the kiss, his senses heightened in a way he hadn’t felt before. He was completely aware of her warmth, her scent, and the soft rhythm of her heartbeat. She reached up to gently stroke his ears again, and he felt his whole body relax, the purr growing louder as he melted further into her touch.
They eventually pulled back, their foreheads resting together as they caught their breath, both smiling. Jiho’s voice was a low whisper as he spoke, his words filled with a tenderness that surprised even him. “I… I didn’t know if I’d ever find someone who could accept all of me,” he admitted. “But with you… it feels like maybe I don’t have to hide anymore.”
(Y/n) cupped his face, her thumb brushing gently along his cheek. “You never have to hide from me, Jiho. I want all of you—every part of you.” Her words were like a balm to his heart, melting away the last traces of fear and doubt.
Jiho pulled her close once more, guiding her gently toward the couch. They settled together, wrapped in each other’s arms, her head resting on his chest as he stroked her hair, still purring softly. Tonight, he realized, wasn’t just a beginning for their relationship—it was a promise. A promise that he didn’t have to hide, that he could let himself be vulnerable, be truly seen.
As they drifted into a comfortable silence, Jiho felt a deep sense of peace wash over him. For the first time in his life, he was truly at home, and he knew, in his heart, that he didn’t have to go through this journey alone anymore.
Jiho glanced down at (Y/n), her face relaxed and peaceful, her breathing slow and steady as she rested against his chest. He felt a warm swell of affection as he watched her, marveling at how easily she had drifted off to sleep in his arms, soothed by the gentle purring he couldn’t quite control. The movie had long since faded into background noise, but Jiho hadn’t noticed. He’d been too focused on the warmth of her against him, the way her fingers had unconsciously gripped his shirt before she’d finally fallen asleep.
As the credits rolled, he turned off the screen, leaving only the soft glow of a nearby lamp to illuminate the room. He knew she’d probably wake up stiff and uncomfortable if they spent the night on the couch. Carefully, he shifted, slipping one arm under her legs and the other around her shoulders, cradling her against his chest. He held his breath, moving as gently as he could, hoping not to disturb her.
(Y/n) murmured something soft in her sleep, her head nestling into his shoulder, and Jiho’s heart gave a little flutter. It was a small moment, but it felt so intimate, so personal, that he couldn’t help the warm smile that spread across his face.
He carried her to his bedroom, taking quiet steps across the floor. His senses, heightened in his feline form, allowed him to move almost silently, and he was grateful for the ability now. Once he reached the bed, he gently laid her down, pulling the blankets up to cover her. She stirred slightly, her hand reaching out to find him, and he instinctively took her hand, brushing his thumb gently over her knuckles as he knelt beside the bed.
For a moment, he simply watched her, his gaze soft and filled with wonder. He’d never imagined feeling this kind of closeness with anyone. For so long, he’d hidden his true self, kept people at a distance, fearful of what they might think if they saw him as he really was. But with her, everything felt different—he felt different. He wasn’t just Jiho the shifter or Jiho the guy with too many secrets. He was simply himself, and she accepted him, every part of him.
With a contented sigh, Jiho brushed a strand of hair from her face, tucking it gently behind her ear. He felt a soft, involuntary purr rumble in his chest again, unable to contain the happiness that filled him as he looked at her. She was perfect, just as she was, and he couldn’t believe she’d chosen him.
Jiho hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should stay or give her some space. But then her fingers tightened slightly around his hand, as if holding him there, and he felt his heart swell. Smiling, he climbed into bed beside her, careful not to disturb her sleep. He wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close, her head nestled against his shoulder.
As he lay there, listening to the steady rhythm of her breathing, Jiho finally allowed himself to relax. He felt the last remnants of his anxiety melt away, replaced by a sense of calm and contentment he’d never known before.
With her in his arms, Jiho closed his eyes, allowing himself to drift into sleep, feeling truly at peace for the first time in a long time. Tonight, he knew, was the beginning of something beautiful—something he would cherish with every part of his heart.
(Y/n) blinked groggily, her eyes adjusting to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. She felt something soft and gentle brushing along her side, tickling her skin and making her smile even in her half-awake state. As she shifted slightly, she noticed a fluffy, sleek cat tail lazily flicking back and forth against her torso, moving in time with her boyfriend’s breathing.
A sleepy chuckle escaped her as she followed the length of the tail with her gaze, tracing it up to where it connected to Jiho, who lay peacefully beside her. Memories of the previous night flooded back, making her heart swell with warmth and a touch of awe. She’d been nervous, in a way, wondering if waking up beside him in his true form might feel strange or unfamiliar. But now, seeing him curled up beside her, ears twitching slightly in his sleep and his tail draped protectively over her, she felt only a profound sense of comfort.
Jiho stirred, perhaps sensing her gaze, and let out a low, sleepy purr as he blinked his eyes open. His gaze met hers, soft and full of affection, and she could see the hint of surprise and joy in his expression as he realized she was still there, still looking at him with that same warmth in her eyes.
“Good morning,” she murmured, a playful smile tugging at her lips. She reached up, gently running her fingers along his tail where it rested against her side. “I didn’t expect to wake up to this,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
Jiho’s cheeks flushed a light pink, his tail instinctively curling away for a moment before he relaxed, chuckling softly. “Sorry about that. It has a mind of its own sometimes,” he mumbled, his ears flattening a little in embarrassment. “Guess I’m not exactly… subtle, huh?”
(Y/n) grinned, moving her hand to stroke along his ears, feeling the soft fur and marveling at the way they twitched under her touch. “Don’t apologize. I think it’s… kind of adorable,” she admitted, her own cheeks turning pink. “I mean, it’s part of you. You’re part of you. And I’m really, really happy I get to know all of you.”
Jiho’s eyes softened, his gaze filled with a mix of relief and affection as he leaned into her touch. “I’m happy, too,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, his tail instinctively curling back around her waist. “I never thought… I mean, I never thought I’d feel this comfortable with someone. Especially not in this form.”
(Y/n) smiled, resting her head against his chest and letting herself be enveloped by his warmth. She could hear the faint purrs vibrating from his chest again, and the sound was so soothing, so comforting, that she found herself melting even further into his embrace. “Thank you for trusting me,” she said softly, feeling her own voice catch. “I know it wasn’t easy for you to show this side of yourself.”
Jiho’s hand gently traced soothing circles on her back. “Thank you for making it easy,” he murmured. “I didn’t realize how much I needed someone who would… just accept me.”
They lay there in a comfortable silence, wrapped up in each other as the morning light grew brighter. Jiho’s tail continued its gentle swishing, curling and uncurling around her waist in a way that felt so natural, so affectionate, that she found herself smiling with each gentle movement.
Eventually, Jiho broke the silence, his voice light but with a playful edge. “So, does this mean you’ll put up with my… quirks?” He flicked his tail for emphasis, a teasing glint in his eye. “I can’t promise it won’t wander off on its own from time to time.”
(Y/n) laughed, leaning up to press a soft kiss to his nose. “As long as you’re okay with me stealing your spot on the bed occasionally, I think we’ll manage.” She smirked, raising an eyebrow. “Besides, I’ve always wanted a boyfriend who purrs.”
Jiho chuckled, his purrs growing louder as he pulled her even closer, burying his face in her hair. “Good,” he murmured, his voice barely a whisper. “Because I don’t think I could go a day without you now.”
They stayed wrapped up together for a long while, savoring the closeness and the newfound depth of their bond. Whatever challenges might come, whatever secrets the future held, Jiho knew that with her by his side, he’d never have to hide again. He’d finally found a place where he belonged—and it was right here, with her.
