It's taken all month, but I've finally finished Priory of the Orange Tree! I absolutely loved this book, an epic high fantasy which has a cast of fantastic females at its helm 👌 ☁️ My full review is up on the blog now (blog link in profile). My house has been featured in so many ghost story books about Georgia. #WeirdGeorgia was a purchase at my local bookstore back then. I had no idea that there was a story about the house in this book, much less that it’s picture was title page for Peach State Ghosts. The book was sitting on my bed while I was getting ready. I walked through and it literally flew across the room and landed on the floor, open to the page with the house’s story. I started my reread of Legendary today!! I’m so excited, my reread of Caraval was AMAZING!! AND a copy of Finale was left on my doorstep today!!!!!! QOTD: Are you a mood reader or do you plan out your reads? I'm definitely a mood reader but I still try and generally have some TBR books. ☁️ Here's some upcoming books on my TBR! I'm excited to get to them, even though my reading has definitely slowed down now. ☁️ I'm about halfway through Priory of the Orange Tree and it's getting so good so far! TOP 10 FAVOURITE BOOKS OF 2018: The Poppy War by @kuangrf was my favourite book of 2018! This was such a dark historical fantasy book, set in Ancient China where opium was used. I loved the magical setting, the fierceness of Rin and how she goes to extreme lengths to get into military school. ☁️ I also loved the grey morality in this book - she definitely does some awful things, but is it for the greater good? QOTD: What is your favourite bromance? ☁️ When I think about bromances, the first one to come to mind is Sevro and Darrow in #RedRising. These two would die for each other and the loyalty really touched my heart. ☁️ I actually haven't re-read this series yet because Morning Star totally wrecked me! Skyward was my first Brandon Sanderson read, and I really enjoyed it! It had a heavy focus on piloting space ships & Spensa was such a quirky character. There's also a fun AI ship who banters a lot.
