thirty. man. am i officially old yet? that was a rhetorical question because, no i'm not officially old yet, my diagnosed god-complex by an anonymous "therapist" is well and thriving, thank you. thank you to everyone who attended the secret surprise party alexia organized yesterday. even though i hate surprises, hate birthday parties and hate being the center of attention, i am insanely grateful for each and every one of you and can proudly say this was the best birthday i've had in a long time. thank you guys for getting this party started in a somewhat vanilla way and for letting it end like we're hedonists (and as if it was my super sweet sixteen, cough). without sounding sappy and all, i never would've dreamed of finding not just one, but seven people close to me. seven people that aren't just friends but a chosen family i'm proud to be a part of. i love all of you and i love how we are with one another; with cringy jokes, with being there for one another, with sharing art that inspires (or scars) us and with acceptance i wish i had experienced earlier.

with @phasmophobie and @caughtbetweenworlds being the mom and dad of "die truppe" (if they want to or not), @a-neverending-story being the best dj (and drinking companion), @ertraeumte and @trauma-report being the best conversation partners imaginable, the literal angel that is @emissary-of-autocracy and, of course, alexia, the one without all of that wouldn't have been possible in the first place. i love you.

this handsome son of a gun got married today! and i know, getting sappy and all isn't really my style and i'm the worst with words so i'm gonna keep this short, but seeing you that happy today was probably the greatest thing ever. i'm happy and thankful you got someone by your side who just loves you for who you are and is with you, no matter how tough the situations you manage to get yourself into might seem. you're a fantastic human being, no matter what you did or didn't do, you have so many traits that are worth loving and being appreciated for and i'm thrilled you got someone who reminds you of exactly that. who shows and reminds you of the light you carry inside you, who cherishes the sacrifices you made, your accomplishments you achieved and the struggles you endured. who makes you feel proud and loved, who reminds you that you got a place in this world. i truly hope you'll continue to be as happy as you were feeling today every single day of your life and i'm relieved to know there's someone who's with you through thick and thin. the relationship you two have is a special one and envied by many. i love you, man, you're like a brother to me. congratulations to the both of you, i love you guys @phasmophobie @caughtbetweenworlds

Hey there, Dawn! Happy to hear from you, it's been a short while! I'm doing alright, lots of work, very little time, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I hope you're doing fine and your studies are still as enjoyable as they can be. But I'm damn sure you're putting those MCs to good use. Can't wait to sit inside a cinema soon and see one of your movies. I miss you. And I miss our 3am calls, when you sounded ever so tiredly. And I still hope you have the best time of your life, with some damn great people. I hope you're all good, that's all I really want. ♥ P.s.: That raging text on my page shortly before it all came to an end (what a softcore apocalypse) was never directed at you.
