fond canons!

i could probably choose specific people for almost all of my canons, so i'll go through this in parts, and limit myself to only a couple

for duck (dhmis): red. i remember us being in love, or as close to it as we could get with how we were. he made things a lot better. safer. the house and the lessons were bad, but he made things better. even if i got frustrated with him easily. i'm very grateful for just..everything he did for us. he did so much and tried so hard to keep us all safe. i hope he knows that i love him.

for shadow (sth): i can honestly say the whole group for this, but if i specifically had to choose, i'd say sonic. he was always important to me. he taught me how to be good when i didn't..really know how. even after he and the others were gone, i still did my best to act in a way that he would be proud of. i loved him so much.

for amity (toh): luz. no doubt, luz. if she never came to the boiling isles, then nothing wouldve changed at all for me or anyone else. willow and i never would've been friends again, willow would've kept being bullied, hunter wouldve been..Disposed of eventually, i would've been trapped in a miserable family just going through the motions, the collector probably still wouldve been trapped, and that's ignoring the day of unity. she was amazing, and if she never came to the boiling isles, then everyone would just be miserable.

for chara (ut): frisk. they were my best friend. it's funny, really, because we were stuck together and at first i absolutely despised them, but..they were really sweet. they were a good kid, they did so much to free everyone, and even with me they were so..patient. and supportive. even after i got trapped in the void (which i'm not. really sure how it happened, but it Happened!) they were one of the people i missed the most. if they never came, my family never wouldve been freed. and if they never came, for one i probably wouldn't have woken up again but for two i probably would've just..remained bitter and angry. they did a lot, for monsterkind and for me, and i'm forever thankful.

stealth humans!!!

oh i have many nonhuman kins. so:

sun (fnaf:sb): oh not at ALL nobody would believe im human. not a Single Person. though i have seen pretty cool cosplays so theres a small chance? maybe?

duck (dhmis): depending on the chosen outfit i could possibly get away with saying it's a costume. maybe.

shadow (sonic): prob not passing as human but could maybe get away with saying its a costume, like duck

amity (toh): definitely could pass! i mean, i did pass as human in source for a while, so

noelle (deltarune): if i hid my more definitely nonhuman traits i could probably pass as being partially in costume? mainly for the face, most of my body would have to be hidden (and it'd depend on the season since sometimes i wouldn't have antlers!!)

canon fables!!!!

for amity after belos was defeated more people told the story of the wittebane brothers, though some parts were omitted or toned down for younger audiences

for noelle there were lots of explanations for why we didn't have magic (in the light world, at least!), though i think the most popular was something about the humans using their magic to seal ours in return for us being allowed to be on the surface. there were lots of different little stories though

i remember being 16 in like...early 2000s? as kel, so now i'd be in my thirties oh wow. uhhh

shadow im not sure but i think that the sonic series takes place around 2000s to 2010s? so id be either 20s or 30s

toh (for me) was 2018 i think? so i'd be 19 now (amity)

i ordered a sticker online of luz and i at grom and i forgot the artist also included my note to her in it. its really just a printed out edit of it to look intact, but i cant help but feel all giddy again about holding it and seeing my own letter entirely asking luz to go to grom with me. sure i was nervous and scared, but it means a lot to me to be able to hold it again, yknow? - amity

On one hand, Amity being canotically a lesbian is FANTASTIC! 10/10 amazing rep! On the other, I was a trans man in my canon and most likely bi so now I get to sit back and just wait until someone says I'm being lesbophobic for having a very divergent tl and making content for it ~🕯

Update from the questioning Amity: Im a good 2 seconds away from confirming- So after making some realizations that Amity reminds me a lot of myself at her age and some trans Amity fanart of mine getting a lotta love, I've decided.. Fuck it. Trans Amity. If people get mad they can kiss my ass, I'll be over here vibing with yet another spiritual kin that doubles as a comfort kin. I shouldnt have been scared honestly, this is a consistent commonality with several kins. Trans rights. ~🕯
