– TV Guide PERSON (un magazine), – JOYSOUND (une entreprise spécialisée dans les karaokés au Japon), – le staff d’Animate et de Gamers (des magasins vendant des anime, des goodies, des jeux vidéos, etc…), – Amuse (une entreprise de divertissement), – Kagome (le fabriquant du jus de légumes dont il fait la pub ces derniers temps), – KING RECORDS (sa maison de disques),

– Sota Fukushi (il incarne le 2ème Sutenosuke dans la pièce de théâtre “Dokuro-jô no Shichinin”), – Gen Hoshino (un artiste), – KREVA (un artiste avec qui Mamo a travaillé dans des pièces de théâtre),

– A-1 Pictures (le studio d’animation à l’origine de “Uta no☆Prince-sama♪”), – Waki Yamato (la mangaka de “Haikara-san ga Tōru” et dont le film d’animation sortira en novembre 2017. Here’s my translation of the Asstellus (Dropout Sensei) interview..under the cut

1) Tell us your first impression of your tie-up counterpart.

Tomoya: I felt like half of my life was being conveyed through his music alone. Ban: It’s a bug huh..

2) If there’s a character in SHOWBYROCK that you like please tell us.

Tomoya: The Labomunch members! I also love their tie-up band Clammbon so letting me be in the same universe made me really happy, even if only fictional. Ban: All the girl bands seem kinda cute.

3) Which of your tie-up songs would you recommend to fellow SB69 fans?

Tomoya: “About my Courtney Love” While playing SB69 with the girl you like I want people to casually think to themself: “Ah this song..I love it so much. These lyrics, I can relate. Right now I’m really feeling this way. I can totally relate to those lyrics~.” Ban: Hmm. I can’t choose.

4) What kind of merch would you like to have of your own character?

Tomoya: “Sweater” to use as a pillow to sleep. Ban: Fruit gummy

5) If you lived in MIDICITY what would you tell your own character?

Tomoya: You will never grow up if all you obsess about is love..is what I want to say but I’m pretty much the same right now. So at least let’s stop messing with married women and not cause the ones around us further trouble. Ban: Band is good and all but also keep studying please.

6) If you had to describe your character on one word what would it be?

Tomoya: High school student who only thinks about dating. Ban: It’s a beetle…

7) SHOWBYROCK in one word?

Tomoya: An enjoyable incident that allowed me to meet so many new people. Ban: It’s a wonderful game!

8) Feel free to promote one of your own band activies.

Tomoya: I think I will release a new album when I have more songs so please wait patiently LOL Furthermore I have one more band called “Sayonara Paris”. The first album “I LOVE YOU TILL I DIE” comes out on the 8/17. Please listen to it. Ban: Lately we have been on live tour so please come see us.

9) Please tell us about your excitement for the 3969 fes.

Tomoya: To make this a fun day let’s all give our best. Ban: Even if we only perform in Nagoya I’m still happy.

10) What would you like to tell our fellow SB69 fans? (This one’s a typo probably cuz for some reason 9 and 10 is the same question lol)

Dyuradyura hcs because I love him and I love Shinimonogurui and they need more love

Another thing from my drafts I quickly finished. Iirc i wrote this in the train?! Jeez

His human parents gave him away when he was bitten thus grew up as an orphan, shunned by others and also avoiding most social contact. Shinimonogurui members were the first ones he opened up to after being invited by Marimari who felt both sorry but also curiosity for the young vampire. The bite does hurt at times and he’s still plagued by nightmares but luckily his friends got him covered always 

Out of fear to hurt others he tried his best to not get too attached and therefore never learnt the basics of social interaction. Of all Shinimonogurui members he's by far the most awkward one although he hates to admit so. He usually feels genuine discomfort without his friends around and prefers quite places or stays home most of the time. Also partly because sunlight, albeit not dangerous, tires him out. 

He also isn't actually interested in making friends either and he often comes off as rude whenever Shinimonogurui meets other bands. Since he was gifted with a smart mind he tends to look down at others, thinking of them as inferior and hints so in the most passive aggressive way. 

As he spent most of his time alone he was at the library reading a lot and is still an avid reader to this day. Lately he's into Light Novel which he considers a guilty pleasure. The ridiculous stories about maids,time travels,harem romance and stuck in videogames stories are a fresh breath of air in comparison to his old thick books.  He’s especially fond of the romance ones since his own unrequited love troubles him a lot these days

Shinimonogurui lives in a shared house in Youkai street and since Dyuradyura is a major clean freak he insists on taking care of all chores and tasks. Cleaning, cooking, keeping track of band schedules and finances, you name it. 

He's still reliant on blood but certain pills are good substitution. At times he treats himself to a blood bag donated by the local hospital. Never would he think of sucking blood off another myumon which why he absolutely despises a certain other bloodsucker myumon in Midi City. 

Although he's fairly good at cooking and loves creating dishes he has very specific likes and dislikes. You could say he's the most vegan of vegan and a good calprese salad is enough to sate him for the day. Sometimes he goes without food for days. That being said he likes to have full control over the band's menu and Gashi's konpeito or Marimari's beloved ramen are being tolerated unwillingly.

While he gets along with everyone in the band (Though he clashes with Gashigashi a lot) I think he considers Monmon his best friend. It’s something about his calm personality that makes Dyuradyura feels at ease even if they have nothing in common.

Now to something more shippy: He loves Marimari dearly, way past mere platonic feelings. Growing up together made him realize that she has always been and will always be the most important person in his life and who had the most impact on him as well. Not sure when he was aware of his feelings but I like to think it happened during ..youkai puberty..

His looks are a big hit among their female fans, especially the vampire enthusiasts but he usually ignores any advances. After all he only has eyes for a certain ghost

I think he’d be too much of a chicken to make obvious advances and be content with admiring her from afar He’d probably fear putting their friendship or his reputation at a risk for showing how desperate he is for youkai romance tm 

Everyone apart from Marimari knows about his crush on her though and they tease him a lot about it. Monmon is the one Dyura vents to usually

Some thoughts on Aion and Shuu(zo).

As close friends probably know I’m extremely invested in the Aion and Shuu(zo) theories the Japanese fandom has been working on since Shuu’s UR release in May 2015. For those who check fanart frequently, it’s quite the well known ship. So what is this conspiracy about? People believe that Aion knew and was inspired by Shuuzo or rather Shuu while he still worked for Amatelast, making Shuu his idol who made him into who he is today. Of course for those who watched the 6th of season 2 know that Aion obviously doesn’t seem to recognize Shuu at all but hear me out why this theory is still worth thinking about.

In BVL episode 7 we more or less find out Ailane’s brother (obviously Aion lol) ran away from home to escape his duty of taking over his family’s business. What in the world brought him to SCZ and visual kei in the first place? Imagine. Aion, lonely, hungry and without money strolling through the streets and an edgy indie band’s guerilla live catches his attention. The singers looks dumb and the music is nothing what he practiced at home but he still can’t help but feel drawn by the melody and lyrics.  Starting from that moment this socially awkward man frequently visits that band’s lives and for the first time in his life he feels genuine curiosity in his bland life. Unlike him Shuu is free, he doesn’t need to meet anyone’s expectations or please anyone, he can do whatever he wants to and be actually good at it. This complete stranger gave him some sort of direction in life he wants to pursue and that is playing music in a band to express himself, and touch other’s hearts like it touched his own. 

Aion adapts Shuu’s style, long black coat, gloves, crosses everywhere. Heck, he even creates a persona that is called “Dark Sun God” to match Amatelast, written Amaterasu(to), the Japanese sun godness. He gets into song writing and plays the guitar just like his idol. 

But Shuu changes, Amatelast gets disbanded and Shuu goes through a drastic makeover, Sparkles replace the darkness Aion lost himself in once. The former drummer joins the three people project Aion has formed with Crow and Yaiba and things are going slowly but quite well. Now just like Rom Aion shares a similar dislike for Shuuzo: leaving behind his roots and everything he had for the money’s and fame’s sake, the things that ruined his childhood. While he holds no hard feelings, he lost his respect and the man he used to look up to is now gone.

Aion used to be a heir who ran away from home to escape his responsibilities while Shuu is free and works under no pressure. While lost and lonely Amatelast could have given him the inspiration he needed to realize what he really wants to pursue in life. 

Aion’s persona and appearance might be heavily inspired by Shuu: similar clothes and their love for visual kei, deep lyrics, their posing and playing the guitar.

Since money and shallow success ruined his former life, he loses his respect for Shuu, who as Shuuzo gave up everything Aion loved him for simply for the sake of becoming popular. 

Does this theory make sense? SB69 pretty much said no but it’s still nice to think about. Why not consider he keeps knowing him a secret out of shame or to make clear Shuu is dead to him? So rather than a fact or some theory that will never become true anyways let’s just agree on it being an interesting headcanon to think about. 

It’d be nice to see Shuuzo recognize the fanboy who attended all their lives and have a nice chat with him.  In episode 7 of SCZ’s tour episodes he even gets the chance to talk to his former idol at least...however he and Crow swapped bodies at that time lol. Damn you Crow. 

One last shitpost: Aion canonically believes in Santa and waits for him every year..and guess which char got a limited of them in a santa costume and was rereleased at the same time?
