While there has been significant progress toward equality for the LGBTQ+ community in recent years around the world, a long road to equality remains ahead, as the collective community continues to face various forms of exclusion and discrimination, especially in the MENA region. That is why AMERTA ART and LOVE IS LOVE Collective decided to start fundraising to support both the LGBTQ+ community and the artists that are raising awareness of this important issue. Supporting the LGBTQ+ organizations and artists is vital, they are changing lives by providing essential services such as support groups, advocating for greater equality, doing critical work to improve legal protection, raising awareness, and even saving lives.‌ In LOVE IS LOVE Art For Charity, 50% of sales will be donated to Afghan LGBT, The first official organization for Afghan LGBTQ+, to help individuals in need.
