In 1992 our English class went to see the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express’s Merchant of Venice at St. Lawrence. I didn’t really understand the play till I saw it performed. The way they added music to the transitions blew my mind. Dan, Erika, and I continued to see their shows through high school. Now known as the American Shakespeare Center, I get to see them each fall since I’ve been back. Sometimes I opt for the lesser known Shakespeare play, but this time I saw their modern show- Grapes of Wrath. The shows are still fantastic. #americanshakespearecenter (at St. Lawrence University) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3TLYh3gFSgtLhabxePg5O17tlyGjGFfIetlCU0/?igshid=15kqjxiamxmnm
