📝Book Review: So, That Got Weird by @akingstonbooks 🔖 . 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 Weird Stars. . Happy Sunday, lovelies! I hope your first week of 2020 is amazing. Since it was my blog tour stop for my most anticipated read back in December, 2019, I thought it was only fair to share my review here. So voilà ! Let me introduce the beloved Elizabeth Wilde and Austin Jacobs, one of my favorite OTPs, to you!🌹 . SO, THAT GOT WEIRD mainly focuses on Elizabeth’s desperate need to find a sex tutor (which turns out to be the best sex god on campus, Austin the football star) to teach her all about building romantic relationships and how to, you know, be intimate with the significant other.🏈 . My first impression on this book is the light-hearted tone of the narratives and the protagonists’ sense of humor. The author’s writing style is so unique that it’s pretty easy to fall in love with the story after reading only a few chapters. I also appreciate the vulnerable side of a seemingly invincible male character, namely Austin, because he reminds me that however strong a person may be on the outside, there rests a soft heart beneath the hard exterior.🖤 . As much as I adore the entire story, I’d actually like to see just a wee bit more character development and detailed subplot. I mean, it could always use a little extra alongside the romance between Lizbit and Austin! *swoon*☺️ . All in all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND So, That Got Weird by Amelia Kingston and I hope you’ll go give it a try!
