So I’m gonna take some inspiration from that fear graveyard in the fade from DAI and ask: what is your OC’s (one or multiple) greatest fear? The one thing them truly terrifies them.

Ok, let's start with my Inquisitors cause they actually went into met the original Nightmare!

Lyta Adaar: Herself/her powers. She is very uncomfortable being able to call down lightning that can zap a crater in the ground and she thinks that's a very bad idea.

Ayala Trevelyan: Being left behind. She has a really hard fitting in anywhere so being left out/excluded is really painful for her (Solas really twisted the knife with her...). Also snakes.

Cass Hawke: Other people (specifically Orlesians but she's not too sold on anyone except Fenris, and to a lesser extent Sebastian, Isabela, and Aveline). She and other people aren't a good mix most of the time.

Amelia Theirin (nee Mac Tir): Being ignored. She's really over that from growing up (although there was a time where her greatest fear was her father, Loghain, and her husband, Alistair, being in the same room without her there to make sure they don't kill each other)

Theron Mahariel: Idfk, probably something stupid and innocuous like dandelions or something (not that he would ever admit it. EVER!)

Cass Segare (WoL): Honestly the fucking shit the scions will get up to in the name of "helping" the second she takes her eyes off them (SHE wanted to work for Emet, damn it!). Also Estinien finding her credit card.

Super Massive End Game Veilguard Spoilers Under the Cut!

Seriously. If you haven't finished playing Veilguard, DO. NOT. READ. So I finished DA:tV and I have been really trying to sort out my thoughts... And well...

Sdlkajshdfklajhsdfklajhsdflkjahsdklfjhaskldfjhaskldfhj I CAN'T!!! My dudes I am SO conflicted!!! Solas is the only character I have ever come across that I both love to pieces and want the best for him but I also want to beat him until he is a puddle of bruised yolk and cracked shells. This dude KILLED VARRIC FOR REALSIES! I am not okay with that. My Hawke's GOING to hunt him down when she finds out. If the Tevinter Magisters can get into the Black City then dammit so can she. And when she does, I am not sure even Lavellan can save him. Amelia (My Hawke) has lost so many of her friends/family/loved ones she can't handle this anymore. He also killed God's gift to elves Felassan. It's been over a decade since I read The Masked Empire but I don't remember there being a great reason other than him being upset that Felassan failed. Dude has GOT to stop killing his friends lol. Especially the hot ones. Like. Come on. As if that wasn't enough, he manipulated Rook. I love my first Rook (Carwyn de Riva) so much that I am STRUGGLING to play another playthrough with any of the other Rooks I had planned. To see that he manipulated her with blood magic... Stopped her from being able to mourn Varric with the others properly.... AND tricked her into that prison??? He didn't think she'd be able to get out. Luckily she had plot armor because if she hadn't gotten out I would find a way into Thedas to rip him apart myself. *Aggressive breathing noises* I feel very normal about this, obviously. Seriously though, guys, I came THIIIIIIIS close to tricking him with the fake dagger even knowing that Lanaya (my Lavellan) wouldn't have gotten her happy ending. JUST so I could see the LOOK on his face when he realized ROOK outplayed him at his own game! At the SAME time however... The idea of sending him into the Black City alone... hurts me lol! I don't want him to suffer. Dude has suffered a lot and honestly, I'm not entirely sure his being a friend-murdering ass is *entirely his fault... The longer I sit with everything, the more certain I am that Solas didn't really have a choice. Seems very much like he was sort of bound to the will of Mythal. Maybe I've missed something, I'm not as lore-savvy as I once was. But in the end when Mythal tells Solas that she releases him from her service and only THEN (NOT when Lavellan BEGS him to stop) is he willing to do the right thing? I don't know. It just reminded me SO much of his personal quest in Inquisition where his Wisdom Spirit friend had been bound and twisted against its purpose. If it works anything like what we saw in Inquisition with whoever drank from the Well of Sorrows, who's to say when something was him vs the will of Mythal? It could be a bit of a stretch but, there's certainly room for that interpretation, I think. And if that's the case, then he doesn't deserve the hell that awaits him. It's also the only interpretation I can really accept Lanaya still wanting to be with him. Varric was her friend too. While forgiveness is something I give freely, I cannot imagine reconciling with a man who did what Solas did without him having been essentially forced into doing it. *Sighs deeply* I saw the different versions of his endgame images... Shit man. The only way this man gets a happy ending is with Lavellan. Dude looks so miserable and gloomy in all the other endings. Moire (Trevelyan) was Solas' friend. She wouldn't want to send him off to be alone in such a terrible place. That would seriously eat at her. (Rook wouldn't care. Her give a damn was busted after he betrayed her for the twenty-billionth time.) It can never be anything but a complete and utter rollercoaster with this man! I do think that the ending I got with him was as good as it possibly could have been though, given everything. Sorry for this really poorly written rant. I needed to get this out of my system and it's almost 3am lol.

If you know,you know. I love how Cullen is all like “what’s were you thinking?!” And my inquisitor is basically like “I dunno commander “I took no such vows” Cullen. I just want a freaking nap!” My inquisitor then basically follows him outside to be all like “ahhh yeah! Magey argument time!” “Do you have a problem with me?!” And instead it is met with “yeah,you did a good, I guess.🤷🏼‍♂️” and thus the relationship between the two gets more marshmallowy. If you romance Cullen you know. A relationship with him is basically Cullen blushing the whole time stumbling over words and the inquisitor being just as bad at it. He is distracting for her. The circle, making people awkward at having relationships since 1.20 Divine.

Anyways, this bit from Simpsons is what always pops in my head when making any decisions during dragon age inquisition. I know someone back at Haven/Skyhold is going to yell at her. All Amelia Trevelyan wants is a nap and a bath. Is that too much to ask?

And also, I would have loved to have Hawke as a permanent party member. Imagine the banter between his or her snarky ass and Sera, Varric, Bull, or Dorian? With some inappropriate puns aimed at the inquisitor or bad jokes at Cassandra over her love of smutty books. You know the books she won’t let Trevelyan read….👀

probably lamorna is the most appropriate cornish first name i know to go with this surname, but i can't use that, bc it's my name

idk if this is just a Unique Name Person thing, but i'm so used to ppl being unfamiliar with my name that it actually unnerves me a little bit when anyone uses it, especially if they are a stranger

like, i'll hear someone talking about lamorna cove & be like wtf, who told you my name

Okay so melee rules are: no weapons that would outright kill, so my Inquisitor couldn’t use the anchor (if it was pre-Tresspasser) and Hawke couldn’t use her blood magic, but everything else is fair game.

My Hawke, Freya, despite being the only mage would 100% get distracted by making jokes at the other two or run out of lyrium and go down joking.

Anya Trevelyan, my Inquisitor, would attempt to pull the fight, she’s too nice, and would worry about upsetting literal royalty, even if she was told by my Warden, Amelia Cousland not to worry about pulling punches, she could take them and it’s all a bit of fun.

But even if Anya didn’t pull the fight, It would be an extremely close fight between Anya and Amelia. I get the feeling that Amelia would purposely pull the fight instead of Anya.

So Anya would ultimately win but Amelia definitely would have won, had she not thrown the fight.

If one or more is dead, it's up to you whether or not you take that into account. This can also just be a theoretical "them at their steongest". Setting and conditions of the mêlée à trois are up to you, and feel free go into detail of how exactly the fight would go down!

I'm super into Saraya's playthru and her canon Inquisitor story, (Garret Hawke, Thea Surana) but I'm also really wanting to do playthru's of her family? Like:

Michael Ralph Trevelyan, a rogue who absolutely just wants to try and save the world so that he can go home and sleep without people waking him up every twenty seconds (probably would romance Josie tbh).

Evette Claudine Trevelyan, a pretty warrior woman who always looks polished and proper and never has a speck of dirt or blood on her and no one fucking knows how that happens (definitely romances Blackwall).

And little Amelia Jane Trevelyan (who would be aged up - making her possibly 21? Which would make Michael and Evette 40 and Saraya 34) and she'd probably be another little rogue who somehow adopts all the ugly little creatures of Thedas and creates a big sanctuary for all her bugs and a place to study them of course (Sera romance!)
