Someone in my sisters groupchat said that she went to bed and woke up to her house burning. Her pets and belongings were all gone. This is super devastating and May Allah Subhanahu WaTaala help her through these difficult times. This really made me think about all the things that I have and I had to question myself about the last time that I showed gratitude to my Lord. I am so comfortable with the fact that I have a bed to sleep in every night and never really thought of how it can all be taken away in just one night.
